They had one guest with a child requiring a high chair. The high chair would have been in the way the aisle causing safety issues for staff and customers. They were then asked to move inside and seated beside us. The group was a gaggle of ladies, loud, obnoxious and rude. The oldest lady proceeded to berate the staff for saying the set up inside created the same situation and what was the difference. The high chair was next to an empty table out of the way of foot traffic. The table kept insisting what the difference was for the set up inside versus their preference for seating on the patio. My fiance then got up to the staff counter and explained we have witnessed the insulting be behaviour of the table and that the staff operated appropriately. As a result, we did not want to be seated next to the group and wished to be moved elsewhere if possible. The restaurant was busy and the staff tried to accommodate. Shortly after, the young female manager came out to the the disruptive table and calmly stated the restaurant would not tolerate their behave and asked them to leave. The table was incensed and continued to be loud and disruptive until their departure. My fiancé and I were so pleased and proud the staff stood their ground to not tolerate that rude and entitled behaviour. I was rather embarrassed for the table particularly given the age of the woman doing most of the yelling. The next table over of young people also came over to us and voiced their displeasure with the table between us, citing he too he is in the service industry and the staff did not deserve to be treated like that. This is our review of the integrity, customer service and hard work that takes place at Sunny Morning, on the Queensway. Happy to support the staff and enjoy their food with a pleasant, friendly atmosphere and good food brunch! Well done to the store manager on shift, Aneesa our server and a couple other ladies who were subject to this poor display of civility yet they maintained their professionalism and cool highly recommend this place for great eats, fast efficient and friendly service.

I elected to go with the Western Wrap ("Scrambled eggs, ham, eggs, green peppers, onions & cheddar cheese"), which comes with homefries. This is one delicious breakfast wrap. It arrived to the table hot, which is always a plus, and it's been assembled with impressive care. Each bite was remarkably consistent, and the various components all worked really well. I think it could probably use some kind of a zesty sauce to tie it all together, but that's a minor complaint. The homefries were tasty but nothing special, and I was kind of missing the crisp you sometimes get with really good homefries. I do, however, want to single out the service, which was friendly and efficient. I think we might have a new brunch spot on our hands, but I can only imagine how difficult it must be to get a table during peak times.

I wanted to add ketchup to the potatoes but the table had none so I had to get up & grab some myself as our server "Greta" was nowhere to be found. The benedict sauce itself was JUST as tasteless as the potatoes! As for the side sausage, to me they were terrible & cold when they arrived at the table. I ate just one but our server didn't enquire as to why just one. She simply grabbed up the plates & was on her merry old way. The ambience was casual but as I said our table was sticky. As for the bathroom, it was small & needed some service. For the price of dining out now, there MUST certainly be better spots than this one. There was really nothing I enjoyed about this brunch except leaving.

The fries were crispy which was good however, the chicken fingers that my children had ordered were overcooked, and too crunchy to bite into. The portion sizes were large for each of our orders, which filled us up. The server was very attentive throughout our entire stay; she brought over anything that we wanted, and also checked-in on us as we were dining. She was definitely an excellent server, which made the experience worthwhile. Overall though, the food was good however, not something to write home about.
