From the directors to the administrators, coaches, and even the team families, Pipeline has consistently created an environment where players and families come first. What stands out most is how honest and generous the organization is. They are always willing to accommodate the unique needs of each family, which makes such a difference in a youth sports experience. Over the years, my daughter and I have been fortunate to build meaningful relationships that have grown into what feels like an extended family. The community at Pipeline is incredibly supportive; not just of athletic success, but of building genuine connections and closeness among players and families. The staff is dedicated and supportive both on and off the court, helping players grow not only as athletes but as individuals. When they say #AllIn, they truly mean it. Pipeline has become an important part of our village, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to any family looking for a club that truly cares about their players.

My daughter plays on the same team as another parent that posted a review here. I echo the…read moresentiment about the toxic environment and bait and switch scheme. The owner responds to every review pretending the business is something other than what it truly is. I get it, he wants to protect his profit machine. Maybe he should get better coaches, listen to parent concerns, and focus on the business rather than only being reactive when reviews are posted on Yelp. When complaints are raised to the admin, they are ignored, some parents were actually told they should just drop their kids off and not attend practices, that way they have nothing to see and complain about. In other words, "just pay us your money, drop your kid off and go away." This place is a joke! Update: to the owner: your admin team are very aware of the complaints raised by multiple parents on our team, including one other who posted here. I cannot speak for other reviewers as to whether they voiced concerns to admin before posting their own comments but I have spoken to a lot of parents on many teams and there are a lot of unhappy as well as some happy ones throughout. To simply pretend that issues don't exist, that complaints weren't raised and any negative review is fake says more about you as a businessman than anything else. You should be addressing the problems, not dismissing them.

They are getting the brunt of my dissatisfaction of the entire club volleyball scene but this being our last club, I was seriously disappointed in the instruction. They are more worried about who they can retain for next year so they can keep perpetuating the volleyball club dream. Even when the starters are failing and loosing games, they refuse to allow the other girls who were picked by the club to play a fair amount. They insist that they know what is best and which players have shown them that they are the right choice to be playing more. Mind you when you have a 30% win ratio and you still Play the same girls every time one might have to ask themselves who in this organization really Knows what they are doing. But it stands to reason that you give the girls more play time that you see returning to your club, dues are dues and if it means playing kids that aren't performing so their parents will continue to keep paying, I suppose that isn't a bad business model. Don't waste your time or money here. They already have their core group of financial patsies and they sure as hell won't rock that boat. Also Paul (Executive Director) should be holding a graduate level class in gas lighting. The man is a true poet, not only can he defend any situation you bring up but he also very elegantly can spin it so that he is insulting you and selling it in such a way that if anyone else were to read it you would believe that he was the victim.

I "believed" I was so lucky that Keith was willing to place our daughter as full time libero on his 16s team. Season cost around $3800. Practices were always cancelled. He would arrive late to tournaments. The girls didn't even have balls to warm up with. The other teams would let us borrow them. He even left mid game one tournament because he was frustrated with the way they were playing. How about you actually coach them and have practice available?! For a while practice was with locals because there was no coaching. This is supposed to be a 16s 1s travel team. This last weekend they were supposed to have a 2 day tournament in Anaheim, SCVA championships. We get a message saying he has made an executive decision to end the season early and has canceled the last two tournaments, including the big tournament which is the summer soirée. Come to find out, after someone investigated, he NEVER signed the team up. Which means he just pocketed that money! We asked for a refund since he decided the team was no longer going to have practices or games. He offered to move our daughter up to the 18s team. My husband wrote back declining. He proceeded to blame the girls. BEWARE!!! Keith only cares about filling his pocket. He will not take responsibility for his lack of professionalism and wants to call himself a coach. There was a lot of potential on this team, but he did not put any effort into them. His priority was the 18s team since his daughter is a part of it. I was warned but I never thought someone would be that greedy and lack integrity. Do yourself a favor and just pay for privates from other clubs, it's not worth the risk and you are just wasting your money.

Coach Keith often arrived late to tournament games, left early from practice, or didn't show up to practice at all. Practices were poorly structured and lacked organization, leading to limited player development. Keith punished players by threatening to reduce their tournament playtime if they missed practices that were rescheduled due to cancellations he initiated. Playtime was based on favoritism, not skill rather than skill. Communication was awful -- Keith ignored parent questions and passed them off to staff who were just as unresponsive. Less than 24 hours before a major tournament, he abruptly ended the season with no prior notice, refused to respond to refund inquiries, and blamed the cancellation on the girls. Avoid this program at all costs. This man only cares about filling his pockets!

I would say many if not most consider similar criteria such as great coaches, wins, cost, location and culture. Let me start off by saying-- Our daughter has learned and developed more at FIGS in ONE year than 4 years at any other club thanks to Juanchi and Caitlyn! FIGS is NOT about "how many people can I pack into my club and take club fees and move on." They are very family oriented and care about the players. Not only do they take the time to get to know the girls but the parents as well. I love that they actually care about the players improving their volleyball skills and working with the players to meet their goals- not just letting them make the same mistakes over and over. The facility has everything a player needs to be a great volleyball player including top elite coaching and an amazing culture. It seemed like finding a club that didn't have drama or a toxic culture wouldn't be possible until we met Juanchi. FIGS was highly recommended to us by friends for a while, and I'm glad we finally found our volleyball home. I could go on forever about all the great things this club has to offer. You couldn't find a better club than FIGS and their coaches. They are a very honest and straightforward volleyball club. There's no gimmicks or distractions. You're there to work with the best, be the best and play against the best! They have such amazing credentials and professional background in all their areas of expertise-- you won't be disappointed and happy that at the end of the season you have money and time well spent and not just a tournament T shirt and an empty bank account.
