I had reached out and spoke with the owner, Brett , easily we got everything in motion from there. I brought in the actual sweater when I received it and came by the store to drop off the info of what I wanted on the sweater. I did not get the the female that was working the front but she was very friendly with helping me on the sizing and placement of the dogs face and name for the sleeve. Overall, everything was speedy,efficient, and they were communicating to me (Kenny) via email throughout the entire process to make sure things were good to move on to embroider onto the sweater. It's hard to find a place that will do one piece item, a lot of places I reached out to required a minimum __ pieces and up . During the process, I constantly had to reach out and check in to see when I was going to get my shirts. Not once did he contact me first (besides the initial confirmation he received the blank shirts). Each time I checked in, the shirts had not even been started on. There were many promises of dates of completion, only to lead to another, "When will these be done?" text with another promise of a completion date. It had been 5+ months.. To make 4 shirts.. Of the same design... With 0 progress. Along with extremely spotty communication, sometimes 3-4 weeks between a text reply. Eventually, I asked Hodge designs to just send the shirts back as this was clearly not something that was a priority. I am giving him 2/5 stars because Hodge designs did send the shirts back, promptly, so thank you! I want to include in this review I understand this is a small company, he was moving studios, and had a lot on his plate. Regardless, he was completing other orders and my order would have taken maybe one day cumulative time. It is unacceptable to treat customers like this and thus I feel obligated to leave this review. The shirts were going to be Christmas presents for my family, as they were a remake of sentimental shirts we used to have. Now I have nothing to show and wasted a lot of time trying to figure this out.
