I got answers from Darlene that did not make sense. Sometimes her computer was down other times her phone was down. Sometimes she would call to give me a message only to realize that she had called the wrong customer. Did not enjoy working with her. Finally, Kara engaged and we got the Permission to Operate about two months after the install. Supposedly Jeff (the Business Owner) is no longer with the company and has gone back East, so not sure who is leading their future efforts. For future customers: hang on to a portion of the payment till the Permission to Operate is received not just the installation.

There were hardware glitches after installation, but the Got Watts team reliably spotted them - without me realizing there was even an issue - and sent teams out to ensure my equipment worked as promised. Years later I noticed some leaks through my roof where some phase 2 panels were installed. I notified Got Watts and they sent large crews to my home to rectify the issue over several days. This was no small fix. They probably spent vastly more to rectify the leaks than they did to install the panels to begin with. No one likes to have problems with an install. But, it means a lot for a contractor to honor their commitment and spend vast sums to honor their warranty, and their word, to their customer. I've had "good companies" make promises they wouldn't honor once the initial check cleared. Got Watts was true to their word and treated me in a dignified manner that is rare these days. I spoke with many contractors, and almost all of them sent salespeople who gave generic answers or tried to push cookie-cutter solutions that clearly didn't fit my setup. Carlos was completely different. From the moment he arrived, it was clear he wasn't a salesperson -- he's an engineer, and it shows. He took the time to deeply understand my system, reviewed actual spec sheets on the spot, and immediately identified issues that other contractors completely missed. Multiple companies told me Hyundai panels would work fine. Carlos checked the amperage limits, applied proper safety margin calculations, and clearly explained why those panels would not work with my EcoFlow system -- saving me from a costly mistake. From my initial contact, which was responsive and very pleasant, to the moment the tech walked out of my home after completing the work, the experience was stress-free and exceptional. I received a text 30 minutes before the tech arrived, and the text included a picture of who would be arriving to do the work. Great safety feature for situational awareness! When Olvin arrived, before I even had a chance to ask, he had already pulled shoe covers from his pocket and put them on, stepping into my home with the covered shoes (rather than putting the covers on outside and stepping on the porch, thus defeating the purpose). Olvin examined my 44-year-old master bath exhaust fan and provided a quote on the spot, after which he scheduled the actual work that would be done. I had already purchased the replacement fan, and was relieved when he told me that 1), the brand that I had purchased is the best brand on the market, 2), that brand is the only one they install (except for units supplied by the customer), and 3) they install this brand every single day. On the day for which the work was scheduled, I received a 30-minute ETA text with photo. Francisco, the electrician, got straight to work after asking a few questions. He was finished with the work in less than the quoted three hours (he had to cut the opening to accommodate the new fan unit and patch up after). I had expected to have to clean up dust and mop the floor after he left. However, none of this was necessary because he had covered the entire floor from the front door to the bathroom, AND the walls, shower, and vanity with 3mil plastic sheeting to prevent the settlement of dust. After testing the fan with me there to ensure everything was working properly, he gave me the option of paying on the spot or being invoiced (I chose the latter, as is my standard practice). The only con that I have is that Francisco changed the wall switch configuration. Previously, it was set so that switch #1 would turn on only the vanity lighting, and switch# two controlled the fan/fan light together. His reasoning was definitely valid, but I was so used to the way it was previously set. The issue with the new configuration is that it makes the bathroom too bright when I go in early in the morning, before my eyes have time to adjust after sleeping. I contacted customer service to let them know how pleased I was with the work and to mention the switch issue. The woman with whom I spoke immediately scheduled a follow-up visit, and a few days later, Olvin was dispatched to change the switch back. All said, I am exceedingly pleased with the Wire Tech Electric team, from intake to install to invoice, and highly recommend them! They will be my go-to electric company going forward!

After the final walkthrough, I only found one non-working light, one disconnected cable, and a few very small touch-up areas near outlets. All of those items were addressed immediately within one day. It was a real pleasure working with Olvin and his crew. Olvin had excellent communication, was very patient with all of my questions, and made the whole process much less stressful than I expected. Their price was also reasonable and competitive compared with two other quotes I received. They also helped with Ethernet wiring and mounting cameras at the same time as the electrical work, which was very convenient. Overall, the job was completed successfully, passed inspection, and avoided a costly panel upgrade. But there were also a few areas where the process could have been handled more proactively. What I appreciated: * Technical expertise & cost savings: My service panel is limited (90A), and other contractors immediately suggested an expensive underground service upgrade. Kirill performed load calculation and recommended using an Emporia Pro charger with dynamic load management. That solution allowed me to safely add both the EV charging outlet and the microwave circuit without upgrading the service panel. * Permits & documentation: They provided the required licensing, insurance documentation and handled the city permitting and inspection process. The final inspection passed without issue. * Responsiveness: Communication was generally clear via email regarding quotes, scheduling, and permit updates. Where I believe the process could improve: We encountered a major obstacle when it was discovered that the crawl space was blocked by a concrete foundation wall, preventing wire routing as originally planned. Initially, there wasn't a clear alternative proposed. I ended up suggesting routing the wiring through the ceiling instead. While the team evaluated and successfully implemented that solution, I would have preferred if alternative routing strategies had been proactively identified earlier in the process. I also want to acknowledge Erin's craftsmanship. When we ultimately routed the wiring through the ceiling, he carefully navigated around existing plumbing lines and made precise cuts to minimize disruption. The finish work was clean and well executed. In the end, the installation works well, passed inspection, and achieved the primary goal of adding EV charging without a major panel upgrade. I'm a patient person and understand busy schedules as I work in a service industry with emergencies, delays, and things that don't going according to plan. My home had solar installed by Sunnova (they were contracted with my home builder), which now is going bankrupt. Sunnova hasn't responded to any inquiries I've had, or helped me even see if my panels are working, for months. So, I basically have an orphan project. I called around to multiple highly ranked solar companies in the area, trying to see if anyone could help, but all of them were either booked out until the end of the year, and/or they didn't take on any projects they themselves didn't install. Rising Sun Electrify was immediately confident when I called them and shared they've taken on multiple orphan projects, so this is not a big deal. They were able to come immediately the next day to check on how my system was set up, then sent me a proposal later that afternoon for how to get my Enphase box commissioned. After I confirmed I was good to go with the proposal, they were able to schedule me in just 2 days later. Truly incredible service, fast, and very competent as well.
