I went to go get my eyebrows waxed and they basically removed one of my eyebrows, the wax lady was not careful at all and she was just putting the wax without paying attention and she was also on a FaceTime call and was actually paying attention. My daughter also got her eyebrows done and also turned out really bad. If they don't know how to give us a good service they shouldn't have that service in the first place. It also takes a long time to get your nails done they keep changing people every time someone does something, they just don't know how to do it right. Went in to get my gel remove and wanted a new color. Apparently the nail polish was brand new and it painted on very thin. I expressed it was chunky and I don't want it like that. Another nail tech brings a whole different shade of what I wanted. I first wanted mint green and they painted over my current coat with a baby blue. At this point they didn't bother how I felt and kept putting so many coats over it to attempt to cover it up. They knew how unhappy I was and still sent me out the door and didn't charge me to remove my color. The lady who rang me up told me next time I should do a dip color! Just totally disregarded how I felt and made me felt like I should've spent more money to use the dip nail. I will never come back here again! I still even managed to still to leave a tip. Left my hands so dry and couldn't even moisturize after the job was done! Worst customer service. Got some negative messages from your customer/friend Nina S, check your customers too! From another customers point of view I think it's a little unfair to expect you nails to turn out like the kardashians nails when your nails are uneven and already messed up when you came in, it's not their fault you got messed up nails- another customer/ fred. read more

I called today to get in and got an appointment and was told I could come in within an hour and a half. Nancy did my ombré dip nail set on my natural nail and she's amazing. She's very experienced, sweet and knew the best color combination for me. The vibe was good here too, all the ladies seemed to enjoy themselves. This place got super busy and everybody was treated well despite the pressure. I did spend a longer time here (1 hour 40 minutes) because of the back and forth of my technician and soaking off a bad dip job from another place, but the work done was top notch and I wasn't rushed to be anywhere. I've been going here for a few years.They used to be very kind and welcoming. They have become rude, don't care if your happy with your nails. Today I went to get a pedicure. The technician didn't want the massage chair on, she did the pedicure in about 10 minutes, I had to ask her to get the rest of my old polish off before applying the new color. If I could give zero stars, I would. My 16 year old came in today and asked for first 2 pics, ombré with a simple black heart on one finger and an old English C on her other finger. The 3rd pic is what she got! after trying to tell them 4 times, "not white, pink and white ombré" "not a C, like this (showed picture again") and then charged her $50. They made her wait over an hour and then took multiple walk in' clients instead of fixing hers with an appointment. The paint job is crap and multiple nails are crooked. If I could put 0 stars I would! This place is an absolute joke! My daughter in law and I went to get our nails done together for a nice relaxing girls day and it ended up with us leaving and being very upset. My toes turned out hideous because she globed the nail polish on, and I wish that had been the worst of it. But unfortunately it just went down hill from there. The woman that decided she wanted to do my daughter in law's nails (same one that did my toes) my D-I-L didn't want her to do her nails, so I tried to sit down instead, and she insisted that my D-I-L sit down. we explained that we had dip nails, and wanted dip again; she started using the electric file on her dipped nails without having softened them first. My D-I-L pulled her hands away while we tried to explain that they weren't gel, nor did she want gel, and the woman kept insisting on gel. The other woman that works there saw what was going on and tried to explain to her in their language, instead she grabbed my D-I-L's hands again and again each time she pulled away, at that point we were both done, she was NOT listening to what we wanted and she put her hands on a customer several time. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE FOR US. I do realize they have a different culture, but we are the customer and that is NOT OK for any reason! I can't believe that even after all of that, we still paid for our pedicures, while the second woman that took my money was apologizing for the other workers behavior. We will NEVER step foot in that Hellacious DUMP again. I didn't even state how old and dirty if felt inside. read more

Sandy is absolutely wonderful! I am a Diesel Mechanic, always working with my hands and I am a little rough on my nails. I do dip powder on my natural nails and they always last me a minimum of 3 weeks. Sandy always goes above and beyond to make sure I leave happy. Her work is beautiful and she is so meticulous with everything she does and I appreciate it so much! I went in to get gel manicure and the lady who did my nails was nice but she definitely seemed to have rushed the process. She was filing so fast and carelessly she filed into my skin as you can see in the pictures. And both of them hurt a lot especially because I wash my hands a lot. Also there was nail polish on my finger tips and on the side that wasn't cleaned well. I don't like to leave bad reviews but her tools weren't sterilized and cutting into the skin can cause infection. Also, she should be more careful even if she is in a rush. (I had an appt so I don't understand why she was filing my nails so fast and carelessly). The manicure had some empty spots too which bothers me but not as much as the cuts in my fingers. read more

I've been going to this business for over 5 years and have always ignored the horrible customer service because the one girl that does my feet and nails always does a good job and I always tip her well in cash. So, I showed up for yesterday July 25, 2022 for a manicure and pedicure, they were five pedicure chairs available and four manicure tables available. I was told they were busy and I had to make an appointment which I did for the next day July 26, 2022. Three minutes later a woman walked in and was told to have a seat she looked at me and said I didn't have an appointment. The fact that this place is open late on a Sunday in itself is great. This was mine and my best friend's first time here and we both got gel pedicures. While I got a French pedicure, it did look like they had a good selection of polishes (both regular and gel, but moreso gel) and I spotted a lot of dip powders too. There's a fridge full of cold water and the massage chairs were really great. A chair that does a butt massage? Why I never heard of such a thing before I came here! Then three days later 5 of them cracked straight down the center, and there are two chipped nails!! This is way too much to go through paying this much for your nails...I haven't heard anything from management about fixing this issue or trying to make sure that my nails are repaired, redone or even that they care if my nails look right at all!! I got a gel manicure on Friday and today is Wednesday and most of the polish is lifting from my nails. I went maybe two days before noticing the polish lifting on a few nails. I've only gotten pedicures before now, which have been great and the polish will last for months. But, I'm pretty disappointed that I didn't even make it a full week before chipping or full corners of my nails were starting to lift and come off. read more

I was told another person was going to do my nails so I figured it would be fine but here we are not even a week later and all of my ACRYLICS have fallen off. I have called and they said they would fix a few but then they all fell off and they are saying I took them off myself. I've been coming here for a year now. The quality of service and nails has gone down hill and it is disappointing. I recently went to get my nails done for vacation and it took twice as long for a pedicure and a full set because the techs kept getting up and walking away from me. My nails don't last as long as they used to, sometimes breaking even before I go for a fill. It's frustrating because they used to, in my opinion, be a good salon and my regular place. Sandy did my nails and did amazing! Everything was perfect! Best set i have ever had. She even checked to see if they were dry and had no hair or any marks in them before i left. She was the best. The only thing i would say is they need to clean better. I went to wash my hands and there was dirty gloves and other stuff all over the ground. Soooo Excited to finally find the best nail Salon in Pierce County!!! You see, I hate acrylics! But working in retail, with boxes etc, it's very dry and not a good environment for natural nails. So I got acrylics. Then I discovered Gel Builder. Not to be confused with gel nail polish or shellac. Gel nail builder goes on just like acrylic, but there is no powder. It's liquid. It's gel. Anyway, they apply it on your nails (even with tips if you want) just like they would the acrylic. The difference is amazing! They are waaay more flexible than the hard acrylic. More like natural. But much stronger than natural. Acrylic is Yesterday! Gel nail builder is sooooo much better!!!! My problem was I was not able to find anywhere that offers it here. By accident, I found Sunrise nails. I explained what I was looking for. Andy understood right away. He explained to Tina how to do it and she did it perfectly! I'm so happy!
