Recently they've added a bit of a convenience store inside which is great for variety and to pick up things you need but the working space is a little more difficult to work with. On our way back home we stopped by their brick and mortar beyond excited. As you walk in the ambiance is quiet and calm. We ordered a strawberry matcha almond milk and iced americano. The pastries were not labeled so we asked about the doughnut and grabbed one. The strawberry matcha was okay. The matcha is overwhelmed by the strawberry and is lost in the experience. The iced americano I was shocked didn't have the defined flavor. It's also very subtle and the ice to water ratio with espresso not well crafted. I think Peaches Coffee has a vibe but not very welcoming. I follow them on Instagram and was just underwhelmed with the service, experience and drinks. I love these seats cause you can see the coffee station and what's going on back there. Basically people watching. It was a little loud today, so I put on my head set and listened to some music. I mean like a couple minutes quick. Tacos were outstanding. And honestly as soon as I asked for a corn tortilla over the flour I thought, they're going to fall apart. But they didn't. Several items on the menu stated they included "migas." Was this slang for a food? Was it a food? She had no idea, and had no idea how to describe it other than it is "migas." She did not offer to find out from the kitchen staff, but just smiled blankly at us. We were solid enough with our choices that we knew we'd stay and eat there. I also had to try a side of their duck fat potatoes, fried golden brown with smoked duck fat, whipped confit garlic butter, and fresh thyme. Now, let's talk about the pizza -- outstanding. The crust was very thin and perfectly done, the cheese was wonderful, and the balance of flavors was just right. If I'm spending $73 on two pizzas, two drinks, and a salad, I expect basic hospitality such as eye contact, a greeting, a hint of gratitude at a bare minimum. Also the pour on my prosecco was paltry. The red pepper and Parmesan shakers were smudged, sticky, and nearly empty. Details matter. As my manger said when I worked at a restaurant in my younger years, "If there's time to lean, there's time to clean". Especially in a premium location with a beautiful patio and thoughtfully designed ambiance. Let's make it tidy and welcoming, shall we? The food deserves better representation than the front-of-house is giving it. The owners have created something special. Now the staff needs to rise to that standard PRONTO.
