They offer Malaysian/singaporean dishes which is sometimes hard to find. The place was nice and clean and the staff was friendly. I ordered the Malaysian curry laksa with a half udon half vermicelli noodles. The broth was so coconuty and shrimpy which is how I likey laksa. Good amount of garnish of shrimp, tofu, and fish balls. The only thing was the noodles was more vermicelli than the udon. I think next time I'll order it I'll get it for udon only. Definitely coming back here for the bakkutteh dish my other favourite!

I hadn't heard of Breakfast ING before we showed up but the place had plenty of good reviews, so I…read morewas definitely down for a drive into Mississauga. The place was far from crowded when we showed up, and we were told to check out the menus and place our order at the front. We decided to share the House Special Sandwich ("Pork loin marinated with house special recipe, tomato, fried egg, cabbage and peanut butter") and the Malaysian Street Style sandwich ("4oz ground beef with a taste of M'sian spice, tomato, fried egg, lettuce and sweet & spicy sauce"). (I also got a milk tea to drink, and it was really good. Very rich but not too sweet.) The sandwiches were both excellent. They were packed with flavor and the various components all worked really well together. The Malaysian Street Style did flirt with being just a little too sweet, but it was balanced out with the other components. Everything was decently priced, too. The bill, with tip, came out to around 25 bucks, which is great considering the quantity and caliber of food we were given.

Despite it being a weekday morning, it was still pretty busy so I'm super glad we were able to get a reservation (only on weekdays, walk ins only for weekends). My first impression upon walking in was that it was a nice and clean aesthetic that made it feel like a casual but slightly more upscale brunch restaurant, which is pretty typical for Toronto anyways. The staff were friendly so it definitely made the environment less daunting though! The menu looked amazing and despite wanting to eat everything, my boyfriend and I ended up choosing the shakshuka and the chicken and waffles, as well as a side of the fries with garlic aioli. Everything tasted phenomenal and well seasoned, and we had also ordered mimosas for the table (which I forgot to take a picture of) but it was also amazing! The staff also brought out birthday pancakes for the birthday boy, which was super nice of them (including a candle and a hat!! It was so cute!). Overall, I would highly recommend coming to Mildred's Temple Kitchen, and I would love to revisit and try new things if I'm ever in the area!

Veda's Choice The…read morecroissant and poached egg sandwich was flawless. I honestly didn't expect it to be this good. The poached egg was incredibly delicate, and the moment I picked up the sandwich and took a bite, the runny yolk spilled right out. The Béarnaise sauce worked beautifully with it too. My favorite way to eat it was almost like sukiyaki, dipping pieces of the croissant into the runny yolk before each bite. Absolutely delicious. Buttermilk Pancake Now this is what a fluffy pancake should be. The pancakes were wonderfully soft and airy, stacked three layers high with tiny blueberries scattered around like little sapphires. The blueberry compote added a nice touch of acidity without making everything overly sweet. The maple syrup definitely brings quite a bit of sweetness, so the unsweetened whipped cream was a great addition. My favorite combination was a little whipped cream, a little syrup, and some blueberry compote all in one bite. Three pancakes are quite a lot for one person, though. I was definitely struggling a little toward the end. Turmeric Latte Pretty much exactly what the name suggests: ginger, turmeric, and black pepper under a thick layer of milk foam. Put them together and you can almost taste the beginnings of an Indian curry. I found the flavor itself a little uneventful, but a warm latte was still very comforting on a cold day.

They had one guest with a child requiring a high chair. The high chair would have been in the way the aisle causing safety issues for staff and customers. They were then asked to move inside and seated beside us. The group was a gaggle of ladies, loud, obnoxious and rude. The oldest lady proceeded to berate the staff for saying the set up inside created the same situation and what was the difference. The high chair was next to an empty table out of the way of foot traffic. The table kept insisting what the difference was for the set up inside versus their preference for seating on the patio. My fiance then got up to the staff counter and explained we have witnessed the insulting be behaviour of the table and that the staff operated appropriately. As a result, we did not want to be seated next to the group and wished to be moved elsewhere if possible. The restaurant was busy and the staff tried to accommodate. Shortly after, the young female manager came out to the the disruptive table and calmly stated the restaurant would not tolerate their behave and asked them to leave. The table was incensed and continued to be loud and disruptive until their departure. My fiancé and I were so pleased and proud the staff stood their ground to not tolerate that rude and entitled behaviour. I was rather embarrassed for the table particularly given the age of the woman doing most of the yelling. The next table over of young people also came over to us and voiced their displeasure with the table between us, citing he too he is in the service industry and the staff did not deserve to be treated like that. This is our review of the integrity, customer service and hard work that takes place at Sunny Morning, on the Queensway. Happy to support the staff and enjoy their food with a pleasant, friendly atmosphere and good food brunch! Well done to the store manager on shift, Aneesa our server and a couple other ladies who were subject to this poor display of civility yet they maintained their professionalism and cool highly recommend this place for great eats, fast efficient and friendly service.

When dining in, you order at the counter, get a number, and they bring your food to the table. Breakfast items are available until 4 p.m., and after that they serve salads, bowls, and sandwiches. On my first visit, I had a hot chai latte with espresso and it was absolutely delicious. The second time, I tried the iced pumpkin spice latte and didn't love it. The pumpkin spice syrup is homemade, which is nice, but the flavor fell a little flat and the large glass was mostly milk, which overpowered the drink. For food, I've tried the egg sandwich simple but good. The spinach feta croissant was heavy on the spinach, light on the cheese, and even though I asked for it warmed up, it was still cold in the middle. Their bowls are very fresh, but I found them a little under-seasoned and could've used more dressing or a sprinkle of seasoning to tie everything together. Overall, it's a cozy spot with an inviting vibe (I love their "stay awhile" sign on the wall). I think it really depends on what you order and your personal taste. For some, the fresh and lighter options might be perfect. For me, a little more flavor and balance would make it great.
