It wasn't major work, but he gave them all a nice run through and now, they're all running great! He serviced all three in about an 1.5 if I recall. However long it took, it was exponentially less time it would have taken me with so much better results. Zach's price was very reasonable and to me well worth it to have good running machines. I equate to an oil change. So overall, Zach is good to for me for tune ups. Quick reliable service, punctual, and easy! As mentioned, this was fairly minor work, but I would have confidence with anything major. You might want to ask about parts first since he's a one man shop in a van and dog.

Sean was able to use rivnuts to mount the lock to the bike, something that requires a specialized tool and the knowledge of how to use it. He also solved a problem that I created when I clumsily stripped the threads in the frame while trying to install a rear rack. He fixed this with a tap and installed the rack. I'm very happy with the service. Planet Cyclery is a pretty cool bike shop to visit. Has a nice 'neighborhood' vibe and tons of top end bikes and gear.

Great selection of all kinds of things. Prices are a bit higher than those box stores but you get far better service and selection. They also have an old school style coffee and ice cream shop!!
