I saw Analise. The spa was truly a spa setting. Clean, calming, welcoming. Analise was gentle with my hands. She checked in with me during the filing to make sure that I liked the length and shape. She explained pricing to me and I had the most pleasant conversation with this amazing young woman while she worked. She was precise and really took her time. She offered me wine, soda or water. I went to the same nail tech for 7 years in L.A but the service Analise provided me today blew my past tech off the map. I walked in stressed and walked out relaxed and happy. She even trimmed my cuticles and massaged the oil into my cuticles at the end. I will continue going to her from now on! read more

I've gone here for years and I know prices have gone up. However, they have now become ridiculous. It's charged separately for manicure (basic - no scrub, soak, hot towel,ect...), + gel polish +removal of prior polish to complete steps one and two Sorry, but this is not worth $73 plus tip. I live in NYC but I visit my family in Jacksonville when I am able to and Sunny Nails is always where I drop in when I'm in town. I usually call ahead and make an appointment. I've never in the countless years I've come here, had an issue. Staff is always super nice and execute the exact look I'm going for. With COVID-19 going on right now the shop was very clean, organized, and sanitary. Masks are required and everyone is spaced out amongst the salon. I will never be going back. I asked for the organic pedicure which was available for a $50 special. As the technician was scrubbing my feet with the pumice stone, he scraped over the soft area of my foot and cut me. It was hurting so much that he couldn't finish the pedicure. When I went to pay, I pointed out that I was cut during the pedicure. They offered to give me $5 off! I pointed out again that he cut me, so the pedicure was not enjoyable and he didn't finish the service because of it. They tried offering me a $10 gift card. I declined and after awkwardly waiting for the manager, I agreed to pay $25 for service. In hindsight, I shouldn't have paid anything as I was injured by their technician. It was disappointing how they decided to handle this. A little customer service and concern would have gone a long way in this situation. read more

I went the first time with my sister the other day and not only did they smile and greet us both warmly, but the knew exactly which nail they would be fixing and then went into a gentle scolding. Protective measures for Covid, a huge plus for me. Got a basic mani/pedi done. The tech I had was a very nice lady, however, she dug too deep into the side of my big toe on my right foot and less than 24 hours after my services, I had an infection. Not to mention that my polish is already chipping and coming off less than a week after getting them done. Called this morning at 9:30am and made an appt. for same day (today) at 12:30p for two pedis. My first time here! We arrived ten mins early and were immediately started on! The pedicures were amazing, I received the mid-grade one for $48 and was given a leg and foot scrub, paraffin treatment, hot stone massage, hot towels, and the standard massage, lotion, nail care, and OPI nail color. The service lasted just over an hour and was phenomenal! The OPI polish selection was large and they all looked in good condition. The salon was clean and relaxing, the pedicure massage chairs were comfortable and worked! Will be returning for sure! read more

I've been here multiple times but the last 2 trips have been a miss. My recent visit, the nail tech seemed like she had other things to do wasn't very interactive or communicated. The longest fill in I ever had,which would usually take 25 mins. The acrylic isn't thick enough so I can see my real nails straight through the polish. The polish wasn't applied to my nails completely and left with space near the cuticle looking like I need a fill. I took myself to the hand dryers and then when It was time to pay at the counter, the price was not the listed fill in price and the nail tech that did my nails stood at the counter while I paid to see what tip I left her. Just left a bad taste in my mouth so I don't think I'll be back. read more

poor service. My nails would always pop off and then the last time I went in to get it fixed they just pulled of the nail (instead of soaking it) and painted it. So I had a random short nail to go with my longer fake nails. And then they charged for it. Needless to say, I will not go back. The receptionist is American abs Everyone else's seemed to speak English pretty well . I left it a really great mood ! Everyone is so polite and I just loved it .
