On a Friday morning,1030ish, mid-October, there was a 20 minute wait which didn't seem long at least because there was a rooster outside providing clucky entertainment. We sat at the bar and ordered coffee which was a bit bitter. But that didn't really matter because the Blueberry-lemon Quinoa Pancakes and the Quiche Loraine were fantastic! The stake of pancakes were quite delicious and I couldn't stop eating them - I'd say they were more hearty than regular pancakes and they had naturally sweet, plump blueberries on top and inside the cakes. The quiche had ample, tasty ham throughout and its consistency was perfect. Next, we tried the key lime pie and it was one of the best we ever had. It had a very ample layer of merengue, lightly torched on top floating over a creamy, light key lime with a touch of tartness and sweetness, and a thin bottom crust. In fact, the entire bakery of desserts and pastries looked amazing.

Gabriela took great care of us (we went there THREE times while in Key West - once for dinner, twice for coffee and key lime pie!!). SOOOO good! Hubs had the beef tacos in corn tortillas with black beans and rice and salsa verde and pronounced it all delicious! (I tried the black beans and rice and loved it!). I had a chicken empanada which was great but I loved the arepa stuffed with shredded chicken the best - fabulous with their homemade salsa verde (I would put that on everything!!!). Let me tell you about that ginger mimosa - amazing! They make their own ginger syrup and I loved that it had a little ginger bite and was not overly sweet. While everyone CLAIMS to have "authentic" key lime pie, this one won our vote - no toxic green color and a smooth creamy tangy custard. And not cool whip either. Yum! Hubs said it was as good as his aunt's and that's high praise. The cafe con leche was also perfect.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST BREAKFAST PLACE IN KEY WEST ! The croissants are simply out of this world -- perfectly flaky, buttery, and fresh every time. Their breakfast food is equally amazing, made with love and attention to every detail. This place is truly a gem! Every visit is a delight, and I can confidently say they serve the best croissants ( love all) and breakfast food in town. Their fresh juices and smoothies are also amazing -- refreshing, vibrant, and the perfect healthy complement to any meal . My personal favorites are the chicken pot pie, avocado toast, croissant with egg, ham and cheese, the chicken sandwich, and their fresh, delicious yogurt parfait -- all made to perfection! The quality is outstanding, and everything tastes like it was made with care and love. But what makes this bakery even more special is the incredible customer service. The staff is always so kind, helpful, and genuinely attentive. They greet you with a smile, remember your favorites, and truly make you feel welcome. It's always a pleasure to stop by -- they brighten your day no matter what. This bakery isn't just a place to eat; it's a feel-good experience that keeps you coming back. Whether you're stopping by for a quick bite or staying for a relaxing breakfast, this bakery is a must. It's not just a place to eat -- it's an experience that leaves you smiling every time. read more

It was good. Had many kokot (cocotte ) in various places and this one was just ok. Had their Benedict version and it lacked flavor.
