P5. Spicy Tuna & Salmon Bowl
Meghan L.

The place is small but this place is quite popular. I ordered everything for takeout. Tuna and Salmon Bowl--there is generous amount of food. They definitely didn't skimp out on the fish which I love. There is a lot going on in the bowl but I didn't think the flavor meshed that well. Overall this was okay. I'm interested in making my own bowl next time. Salmon Burrito--Packaged beautifully. This burrito was really good. I would order this again. Perfect ratio of ingredients to rice. Teriyaki Chicken Bowl--This taste homemade, big chunks of chicken. If you had Sakura Japan before this is different. I thought it was okay the teriyaki sauce was a little off for me.

This is a hot spot for takeout orders, and I understand why. It's not easy to get a parking spot in the area on a weekday night, but we snagged one and placed our order in person. The spicy edamame definitely has a kick, and my husband loved the sushi burrito. The ramen was just ok for me, but with a menu this big, you're definitely sure to find something you love.

Make Your Own Way with 3 Proteins

I ordered takeout from here and the customer service was welcoming and patient. I ordered a make your own bowl with three proteins and it was flavorful and fresh. The only thing that I was better was if the mangoes were more firm.

My boyfriend and I ordered takeout for dinner via door dash. Our meal came an hour earlier than expected! I ordered a sushi burrito with tuna, salmon, edamame, seaweed salad, carrots, and eel sauce! The packaging was adorable and the burrito, itself, was DELICIOUS! The fish tasted very fresh and it satisfied my sushi craving perfectly! The burrito didn't hold together well, though. It fell apart right after I took my first bite, so it turned into more of a sushi salad. I had a great experience and would definitely order from here again - probably not a burrito next time.

If you're looking for a casual takeout sushi place, this is your spot. The menu is large and has a ton of options. I opted for the spicy tuna burrito- it was good but very messy. Turned into a poke bowl by the end

Great local sushi and Asian food spot. Ingredients are always fresh and tasty! Not much as far as indoor seating but they have a few chairs.

The teriyaki beef was gray, tough to chew and flavorless. The rice with it was also flavorless. The broccoli was overcooked and mushy.

Today, for the first time, I ordered dessert, the Coppa Mascarpone, and it was so incredible I felt compelled to finally write a review. Honestly, it might be the best dessert I've had in Boston. Some of my favorite dishes are the edamame with garlic sauce (I would put that sauce on anything, it's that good), all of the sushi rolls, and I LOVE the dobin mushi soup, which is always comforting and flavorful. This place never disappoints. Highly recommend!

The dishes were well prepared and flavorful, though nothing felt especially memorable. The dining room had a lively atmosphere, but the space felt a bit tight once it started to fill up. Service was polite and professional, but there were moments when it felt slightly rushed rather than genuinely attentive. While everything generally worked as expected, a few small details kept the experience from feeling seamless. Still, it's a reliable spot for a casual night out, and I'd consider returning, just with slightly adjusted expectations.

We ordered a variety: orange chicken with rice, a combo platter filled with everything from edamame to octopus, and I enjoyed shrimp tempura maki with bibimbap (they kindly removed the beef for me), plus miso soup and a Sprite. Everything was flavorful and beautifully presented. The space is cozy yet lively, giving you room to relax and enjoy your meal. The menu is robust -- so many choices my guests had trouble deciding! Zaku gave great food, great service, and a great experience. I'll absolutely be back.

It was adequately busy but still had seats open. The lunch menu is very affordable! If you can, I'd highly recommend going for lunch instead of dinner. Service was really quick! Received my meal in like 5-7 mins after ordering. Fish was super fresh and I really liked the different textures in the Hoseki Don. I also added in negitoro. They gave me a big clump of it! The second time I went back, I ordered take out so I could eat it at the airport for dinner. I ordered the Sake Maguro Hamachi don, added ikura and negitoro. Again, so impressed with the quality of the fish and the size of it. They didn't skimp out and really enjoyed the thickness of the sashimi despite it only being 3 pieces.
