I loved the price & size of the açaí bowl. What I didn't like was I couldn't get a definite answer as to whether or not the ingredients were organic & in the açaí or fruit bowl world this is sort of important. For the $12 Twas huge to say the least & the sweet potato was a welcome difference to the redundant açaí. I was told it tasted like a sweet potato & marshmallow & while that was true for my mere sample the bowl itself wasn't as good. Maybe the toppings & peanut butter contradicted the flavor but it was still a joy to enjoy an bowl in the infamous food desert of river north. I'm my limited knowledge the only other place in the immediate area to get a bowl is hi vibe & you're going to pay more money for that. They have a good assortment of things such as boxed waters & elixirs with rare ingredients such as ashawagandha. A welcome addition to the area

This spot in Chicago is one that I keep thinking about. The huge market area in this building - the choices are never ending and this little soup corner caught my eye. The owner was out greeting everyone - asking if we had been there before and then offered samples. I tried as many as I could because I LOVE SOUP. If there was a filter on my Yelp photos - soup would be one of the tops. I was eating soup in July in Chicago, I meannnn - and there were so many people eating soup in the Summer from this little stand. I tried the wellness soup because *aesthetic* and it was absolutely amazing. The broth was rich and the veggies were jam packed. I am seriously craving it right now. The staff was super helpful in choices and there are offerings of bread and noodles and the owner even said - "you can customize however you want." I stayed in my lane or I would have mixed all the soups and I am not joking.

Chipotle butternut squash soup and arugula salad. - The image shows a bowl of brown soup with a white compostable spoon inserted, placed on a wooden table. Behind the soup, there is a clear plastic bowl containing a green salad with leafy greens and cheese, along with a black fork. In the background, there are small clear containers of dressing or condiments. The setting appears to be a casual dining or takeout environment.

Excellent soups! I've had both the lemongrass and butternut squash and both were excellent. The breads are fresh and crusty and perfect for dipping...or try one of their spreads. Staff is super friendly, too!

Matcha Goddess Smoothie Bowl with mangos, goji berries and oatmeal - A smoothie bowl in a white cup contains toppings such as diced mango, goji berries, and oatmeal. The bowl is placed on a white surface with visible cords and a black background. A blue spoon is inserted into the bowl, and the image captures the colorful toppings and the texture of the ingredients.

This has become my go-to lunch spot. I usually get a soup & spread (love the smoky goat cheese spread). They are testing out adding Cappuccino and have started selling smoothie bowls! They have soft serve machines with simple 3-4 ingredient smoothie bowls with toppings of your choice. It's ACTUALLY healthy vs. all of the additives and stuff. It is awesome to see this buisness succeed and they are so nice. It's fun to be able to try their creations and it really is great to have such a healthy delicious choice so close.

Sunny Bowls soup counter located in a shopping mall food court, with three digital menu screens displaying soup options. The counter has staff wearing masks and aprons, with a customer placing an order. The decor includes wooden paneling and shelves with bowls and containers. A sign indicates self-care, and a QR code is visible on the side. An orange soup cart is positioned nearby.

Lots of friend groups and others, enjoying their together time, incredible meals, and just sharing together. Serious stuff: Ambiance was very inviting, letting all clientele the opportunity for unfettered enjoyment. Food was flavorful, sumptuous - just delicious and more than ample. Service; quick, courteous, attentive. Waitstaff proving good information on menu items and pairing suggestions. They checked on us several time, ensuring everything was to our liking. Went here on a whim last night after reading all the glowing reviews on Yelp. Before that, I…read morechecked out a few eateries on the 4th floor of the Nordstrom building, but nothing really stood out, and honestly, none of them seemed very busy and the one restaurant Lao sze chuan was way too expensive! So I decided to try Shang Noodle, tucked away on a side street off Grand Ave., just steps from Michigan Ave. It's a little off the beaten path, down a short flight of stairs and a block down. As soon as I walked in, nearly every seat was taken. The place was lively, energetic, and a bit boisterous, but in a good way. I figured that was a good sign that the food was good! At first, the host wanted to seat me at the bar, which I politely declined. I noticed a small single table open, pointed it out, and he kindly let me take it. No tude! My server was efficient, friendly, and very helpful with recommendations since it was my first visit. She suggested the pot stickers over the hot and sour soup, and the beef Chow Fun instead of chicken. The pot stickers were a little small, but very tasty. I also asked for some sweet and sour sauce, which paired nicely with them. For my main dish, I ordered the char-grilled beef Chow Fun. The portion size was generous, and the char-grilled beef had great flavor. A few of the noodles were a bit firm, likely undercooked, but overall it was still enjoyable. What I appreciated the most about Shang Noodle was the value. $18 for the beef Chow Fun and $9 for the pot stickers felt reasonable considering the portion sizes and location. I'll definitely be back, though next time I may try lunch instead.
