This place is fantastic! So much better than having to go to the DMV! I had to change my out of state plates and registration to FL. I was dreading the process but Suniland Auto Tag made everything so easy. The girls at the front were very friendly and helpful. I was in and out of there in about 10 mins with my new plate in hand! Not sure if it cost more than if I would've gone to the DMV and done it myself, but I honestly don't care. It was worth it for my peace of mind and to save me the hassle. I will definitely come back here when I need to renew my tags. Just wanted to mention, they are walk in only and can get very busy. I came in a little after they opened on a week day and was able to go right up to the counter, but soon after I arrived a bunch of people showed up. So it's probably better to go early during the week rather than later in the day. They also are open on Saturdays which is a bug plus if you can't make it during the week. read more

I would give this zero stars if I could. have been coming here for years because in the past, I had been happy with the service and location. So when I recently purchased another vehicle, I stopped by on the way to work to do the title work and transfer the tag from another vehicle. The person that helped me was rude for no reason. Her customer service skills were abysmal. Her job knowledge was also lacking. I needed a temp tag for the vehicle I was taking the tag from so I could sell it and she simply said we don't issue them. I knew this was incorrect as I have done it in the past. Thank goodness for the very nice woman next to her that said they could issue a temp tag. Worst experience I have had here in more than 30 years. I won't be back. I'll be going to the Hammocks tag agency from now on. read more

The ticket system to get in line is ignored. There are some things you can skip the line for, like a simple issue that'll take a couple minutes, but there are also people who completely skip the line for complicated issues that can take 30+ min. My complaint isn't about the line skippers themselves because they do not represent the business. My complaint is with the workers who help the line skippers without calling the next number, knowing there are people who have been patiently waiting 30 minutes to an hour for their number to be called. The result is it takes 45 minutes or more to advance the queue by just 8 customers. Because the workers would rather help people who skipped the line than the people who properly took their number and waited patiently. Organization skills need work. read more

Having moved from out of state, trying to figure out Florida's license requirements were a hassle. Unlike other states where the DMV handles licenses, vehicle registration, license tags, etc; FL segregates it. You get the drivers license at the motor vehicle office but you have to go to a tax/tag agency to title the car. In short, the DMV is horrid and you will spend hours of your life there. But after you get done with that, Suniland Auto Tag agency was a breeze! -Located in the Suniland Shopping Center next to Sushi Rock Restaurant Shopping plaza is busy but parking was easy -If facing S Dixie, the agency is towards the rear of the shopping plaza and the door is clearly marked -I went during a weekday afternoon and there was no line -Multiple representatives at the counter to assist -I didn't even need to fill out forms online, the employee gathered all the information, inputted it on the form and printed it out for me to sign -For vehicle titling, be prepared to provide the title, Florida auto insurance, Driver's license and the car needs to be onsite so they can personally validate the VIN# and odometer -Pay with credit card with a 3.8% surcharge or cash (you may want to call ahead to get an estimate if paying by cash. Depending on the vehicle and situation, the cost can be in the several hundreds and you may not have that much cash with you -You can have the new FL title printed out for a 18.00 fee or mailed to you -They give you the tag (FL only requires a rear license plate, not front) -The license plate registration renews annually on your birth month -You can pay for a 2 year registration which does not save you any money Summary: Pleasant and professional staff, quick service, easy location read more

Unfortunately I have been going to this establishment for 10+ years and today the service was horrible. As we were trying to sort out a small issue with a trailer the lady at the desk was not clear with my mother on what was needed and after a few comments back and forth the lady stated to my 60 year old mother "your lucky I am behind this desk and we aren't in the parking lot." I was thinking the so called business owner would come out and try and de escalate the issue, but instead continued to be be rude and non professional towards my mother as well. The two people were very unprofessional in not guiding my mother towards the right direction and eventually said they would not help us and to go to another agency. If I could give zero stars I would, 1 for the lack of help in finding a solution to our issue and 2 for the business owner being unable to solve a situation but rather making the situation worse. It is really terrible that they would treat my mother this way and especially in a great area like Pinecrest in which my parents have resided for 50+ years. I will be reporting the business as well. As the owner claims this is fabricated it shows the lack of the ability to acknowledge and own up on behalf of a employee who threatened to fight my mom better yet "meet her outside". Was number 82 and waited inside the whole time by the door. Got up to hold the door open for an elderly woman in a walker which took less than 20 seconds. Within that time my number was skipped followed by the next 5 turns back to back. I went up to the receptionist who was rude, dismissive and no eye contact and was told I missed my turn so I had to get a new ticket and wait the line all over again. read more

Convenient and no line but I'm floored. One of the attendants called out my number I got up and went over to him. As I am standing in front of him the lady at the end, sitting at desk height counter, tells him to help someone else as I'm standing in front of him already. This would have been fine seeing as the man was there before me however I was not apologized to nor was I told excuse me. Next they called number 39 (I was number 38) I quickly got up and said "no. I'm 38 it's my turn. I was up here before but the lady sitting there asked him to help someone else". The he that I was speaking of then proceeded to get upset and says in front of everyone in the tag agency "well, I thought you would be gracious about it ". First Lady then chimes in that she's the bad guy. Now the guy she's helping chimes in.... Really, whatever happened to the customer is always right. I can't believe I was bullied at the tag agency. I've been to other tag agencies and you're in line all on top of each other. Not here , so that's a plus. You can get your number and wait outside , just make sure to check what number they're on. I was lucky enough to grab a seat. very friendly staff, they answer all your questions and move things along. The gentleman that was there unfortunately, had some lady give him a nasty attitude. She was upset about her sister not signing the title. Even with that treatment , he explained to her what had to be done. She walked away rolling her eyes . He gracefully moved on to the next customer & he seemed to be completely unbothered. Her bad ,not his! As for the wait, I arrived while they were 00 I was number 14. I went here to inquire about changing a registration and tag and it was a bit of a unique situation from out of state and involving a Fleet vehicle. The woman who works here and looks like Morticia Addams was extremely rude and unknowledgeable. She did not know how to help and and gave the bare minimum in details, resulting in multiple visits that still did not resolve my issue. Every time I went to change the tag and registration there was a new requirement that had been not been mentioned the first time by Morticia. Another worker there finally explained everything I needed to do and Morticia sat there with a smug look on her face as though satisfied she was making this as difficult as possible. I would expect that if you are unsure how to help a customer you would then inquire with someone more knowledgeable but she would just sit there staring at me. Half the information she told me I needed, I actually did not need when I was finally able to get this done somewhere else. I should have known this would happen as the person she helped before me was an officer in uniform and she was similarly unhelpful and condescending, to the point that I noticed while waiting. Save your time and skip this agency, Hammocks agency was way more polite and helpful. read more

It doesn't happen often, but every once in awhile you run into someone so nice and friendly that you forget that you're in South Florida. That was the case today! "JUJU" (my apology for not knowing her real name) was one of the friendliest people we've ever met especially at an Auto Tag Agency which we all know can be extremely hectic. JuJu was very helpful and even provided us with information on purchasing Veteran tags for our vehicles. Her positive and friendly attitude should be acknowledged and rewarded. We gave her a Marine Corps patch to add to her collection plant of military memorabilia and insignias. I went today to transfer a title, register a new car and get a new license plate. I arrived at 1:15 pm on Wednesday and grabbed a number, sat down, and was called within 1 minute. The lady was very friendly, professional and very competent. The process was quick and she was very courteous while I decided on the charity plate. She even brought a few over for me to see. It was very nice that I wasn't rushed. Overall, very friendly and professional with ample seating and a large variety of charity plates to choose from. Also, there is parking in the back.
