Every customer before me in line was arguing with the staff about price or service, that should have been my sign. I brought my car in for a simple patch on the tire. A $30 service. Instead, they broke a bolt off of my car (and of course I had to pay them to fix it) and told me they could not patch my tire, that I needed to buy a brand new one. The Firestone Dadeland is really nice because we can leave the car and go to Dadeland mall across the parking lot and shop, have lunch, and then walk back when the cars are ready. When bringing in our truck for how it drives, the guy there walks over to the car, looks at 2 of the tires for maybe 30 seconds, and tells us our tire tread is bad, and has malformed. He could've point out a specific place where the tire was bad, or where the tread was bald. They just wanted to charge $1,600 for tires before they diagnose the truck. Honestly, they just want to see how many things they can get you for when you come in. Went down the street for a second opinion, no new tires needed for another few thousand miles. find yourself a more trustworthy shop and save some money doing it. read more

This Firestone location is nothing like the one on Bird Road and 87th ave, it also has much better reviews. They have a lot better vibe and have plenty of car bays to quickly service your car. I came here on a Sunday morning for a wheel alignment after I replacing my two front tires. The service took two hours as most of their bays were busy with other cars. I got to go for a walk around to Pasión del Cielo and then around Dadeland mall. I opted for the lifetime alignment which ran me $194 after tax. You get to check and have alignment done every 6 months or 6K miles. read more

I was stunned because my tires only have 20, 000 miles on them. And i went back and checked them and they have plenty of tread. Another lie. I know when tires need to be changed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]She was just lazy and did not do her job and then made lies to cover up her mistakes. I knew she was not listening to me when i was talking to her. Once I arrived I stood in line for 30 minutes while technicians and care advisors walked all over the lobby trying to organize and sort work orders and paperwork. 0 stars if I could worst service ever after 10 years of being on the road, starting from the front desk to the replacement of my tire, got one new tire to test this place out asked for Firestone and got some other brand as I guess they misunderstood no problem still a decent brand new tire, but [[HIGHLIGHT]]on my drive home my TPSM sensor came up on my dash I called 5 times and got hung up on every time a little frustrating[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. This rating should be negative one. This place almost scammed me out of a lot of money. The AC in my car broke on a Friday. My regular mechanic doesn't work on Saturdays. So I took it to this Firestone location. They had my car for 3 hours, when I came back and said I had to leave, they told me my car needed a new condenser and compressor. I didn't have time to wait for the repair that day. I paid 62$ for the service consultation. On Monday I took the car to my regular mechanic. The problem was a relay switch. The part cost 27$ and it took him under 20 minutes to figure it out and fix it. He didn't even charge me for labor. Since then the AC has worked perfectly. I feel lucky that I am only out 62$ to Firestone. This place seems to me completely untrustworthy. read more

First off I have no issues with the staff, the young woman at the desk was courteous, informative and super friendly. I also don't really have an issue with the price, though I thought it was a bit high. My issue is with the wait time, even though I scheduled appointment online 2 days prior, over 5 hrs for basic tire replacement and alignment? I don't think I have ever waited more than an hour, maybe 1.5 for similar services elsewhere. I called this place ahead of time to see if they were busy and I was greeted with an "Bring it now! You can just walk in and we'll get it done real fast. Because of the global pandemic, we haven't been getting as much business." When we got to Firestone, we waited for 40 minutes before anyone came to help us. During those 40 minutes, we waited at the front entrance where the phone rang multiple times without anyone coming to answer it (if someone had come to answer it, we would have asked to be serviced). One time, the ringing got so bad that my husband answered the phone saying how busy they must've been that a customer is taking calls and to get their car serviced elsewhere. After someone (I'm assuming a supervisor or boss because he was giving directions to other staff members) finally came to see us, he told us how busy they were (even though he told us over the phone how little business they had because of the "global pandemic"). We went out back and saw the mechanics lounging and talking to each other all grouped near a single car but not actually working on it (see the attached picture) despite there being 5 or 6 cars in the garage. I was recommended Firestone by a friend so I might give another location a chance, but I will never come back to this shop again. read more

This Firestone is on the east side of the Dadeland Mall. It's right by the Nordstrom and JCPenney side. I come here for standard oil changes. With the $10 off coupon, the grand total comes to $29.42. I've never had any major issues here, but I do find that the front desk people are often overwhelmed by customers and phone calls. I was told that the oil change would take 45 minutes. 1.5 hours later I finally get a call saying it's done. I believe the actual service was done in a timely manner, but the front desk was so inundated with people that they were late in calling me. I ended up having to wait in line 10+ minutes before I could even ask them for my car which is a long time in the middle of a weekday. Parking is plentiful. I've been parking on the east side of the building, away from the mall parking, The positive aspect of visiting this Firestone is that you can walk around the mall while they are working on your car. Update: With a coupon I printed online my latest oil change total was $26.21. I'm always confused with how they calculate totals with coupons. read more

I was having an awful day today (10/19). I had a litany of things go wrong all day, not the least of which was the battery on my car dying at a horrible time. I was in lousy mood when I arrived to get it changed, but the guys working the customer service desk here were so awesome, funny and knowledgable that it really turned my mood around on the spot. They replaced my battery and changed my oil in less than an hour for a reasonable price and I was on my way. It was seriously one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. Rating This store has gone downhill very fast. Won't be bringing my cars here anymore. Used to take all my cars here for years, and had a horrible customer service experience with Melissa. I have a baby with me, so taking my car isn't easy. I called ahead and asked the wait for an oil change and was quoted less than 2 hrs and to come right in. Great. I show up and first thing I'm told when I said I'm here for an oil change is "you know there's a 4+ hour wait right now." I explained what I was told on the phone and she says she only has 3 guys working and their bay is full. When I called, I didn't ask about their staffing deficiencies, I simply asked what their wait time was and was told under 2 hrs. So one of 3 things happened in the 10 mins since I called: A) 30 cars showed up for oil changes, B) A bunch of staff walked off, or C) I was lied to over the phone. I'm going with C. So I was willing to overlook the wait time. Then I'm told that they don't do price match on oil change... something I've always done with all my cars when I go there. She even pulled up on screen and it showed price match for last time I was there... so there's another lie. They just didn't seem to want my business because they were full and so I left and won't be bringing my cars here anymore if this is what I have to deal with. read more

I needed a tire repair for a nail puncture which required a vulcanizing patch from the inside. The front desk wasn't manned, with no way to alert anyone, and one customer left rather than wait. Eventually, a technician appeared. He said it would take 1-1/2 hours, but they did it in one hour. Nice location, with great waiting room, and good service, once you got it. The balancing of the wheel was excellent, and it ran smoothly. The price was reasonable, for the work involved. I'd use this store again, but they definitely need to improve customer service. read more

I bought two new primewell tires a week ago and one of them got a flat (via needle), considering I didn't get the warranty I spoke to LUIS (Presley looking fellow) and he told me that the tire was pretty much no good or wouldn't be reliable because I drove it on the flat for too long so the rim ate up the tire. This news just sucked because again I just bought that tire a week ago from them BUT Luis was able to consider my situation and although he didn't suggest patching the tire he suggested I buy a new tire but he dropped the price significantly and gave me the most fair price for a new tire considering the fact I bought new tires from them within a month. I took in my car for simple service and got a sales pitch for needed other items. The cost increased significantly. But as my wife pointed out stuff happens and it not their fault. I took the car in some time later for another simple service job and found myself being sold on the idea I needed another round of expensive significant servicing. I will longer be going back. If I go in for an oil change and told I need much more service I will bite one time. Come up with the same routine a second time and you have lost me as a return customer. I paid for the quote they provided me over the phone prior to making the trip. The service advisor at first didn't really seem to want to help at all. He just said name, keys and next.
