I would not go anywhere else. I was upset when I pulled in. I had a flat tire. I wasn't quite sure how to get around Coral Gables and there it was Goodyear Auto Service. I was thrilled, and the woman came out and told me not to worry it would be OK and I didn't have to wait very long. A young man put a new tire on for meOwner brought me a cup of water, which was exactly what I needed -feeling very sorry for myself. I might say, but I wouldn't go to any other business. Those of you that know me and that follow my post know the kind of care I give to our vehicles. It's definitely a passion of mine to keep them clean and pristine. I'm always uncomfortable taking them to shops for service. Very picky about who works on them and always hopeful they will approach our vehicles the way I do, at least with some amount of respect. This morning I took our truck to Goodyear Auto Service for a simple oil change and tire rotation. I had a 9am appt and got out sometime between 1030 and 11. When they got done I did not do a walk around. What could happen with a simple oil change?? I got in my truck and drove it to the next block, not even a 1/8 of a mile to gas it up. As I'm gassing up I do the walk around and found the NASTY dent and chipped paint on the driver's side door. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME??!! (See vid and pics) I went directly back to Goodyear and of course the Sales Mgr said there is NO way that could have happened there. BS! I'm CONFIDENT that's where it happened. Thanks Goodyear. I appreciate your disrespect toward my vehicle. I won't be back. Furthermore I will tell every person that will listen what you guys did and your attitude towards it. Well I have to say Richard and his service team are still doing an awesome job. Took two of my vehicles in for some regular service, a few repairs and a set of new tires as well, all in all it was an awesome experience. These guys really do out of their way to take. Are of their customers. They will also work with your extended warranty company if necessary to get your repairs squared away and approved. You really cannot go wrong with Goodyear tires and service coupled with a 2 year warranty on all work, that is really tough to beat. I have to give a special shout out to "Pepe" the master mechanic as well. His diagnosis are spot on even when he has to give you news that you would rather not want to hear. I want to also add that this Goodyear team will not push to sell you any services that you don't really need. That is really hard to find in Miami.... So if you are looking for an honest assessment of any issues with your car or if you just need some tires, you may want to swing by and talk to Richard and his team. Tell them Nelson sent you! The service manager, Richard Manzo at the Goodyear at 9001 South Dixie Highway was very kind gentle and understanding of my needs to repair my car. I needed a water pump and a couple of other things that needed to be done to my car, and Mr. Manso was obliging, all of the workers that I met were very personable and willing to help I recommend this Goodyear if you ever need work done on your car. I went to them for service throughout the past 2 years - everything from new tires, breaks, oil changes, and every single time I've gone they've managed to botch something. One time they didn't put in the back brakes, another time (and the final straw) they left a wrench attached to my car. On occasion the manager will try to make up for it, but honestly enough is enough, and I question the competency of the technicians. Basically, I'm in the market for a new mechanic. Good Year Last Nov I scheduled my car appointment on-line. When I arrived, the sales manager told me that this shop was not linked to Good Year's national reservation system, further, that Good Year had discontinued its Assurance MaxLife tire series. He offered instead the Assurance WeatherReady, its comparable replacement tire, which sold at a $36 premium per tire but came with a lifetime free tire rotation warranty. O.K., I nibbled. June 25 I scheduled my car service - oil change with 1st tire rotation, via phone. When I arrived, the sales manager told me there was no record of my reservation made the previous day. He advised I should leave my car as it would take about three hours given the service queue. No problem. When I asked for a conventional oil for my 2012 Camry, he replied that Good Year required only synthetic oil be installed in that model year and that is what he 'must' install. I asked why then West Kendall Toyota had been installing conventional oil during my previous oil changes. He deferred to Good Year's on-line instructions for that model year, which he would not show me. I said thank you, no, I would take my tire and vehicle service business elsewhere. I came home, reviewed the Good Year web-site, and discovered they still sell the Assurance MaxLife tire series. My take away from these two experiences with Good Year at 9001 S.Dixie Hwy, Pinecrest, FL, is that the sales managers mislead me last Nov about the tires, mislead me again about the oil and most likely misrepresented the scheduling snafus. This Good Year outlet's practice of misleading customers for a quick couple bucks is a poor business model to employ. I'm saddened to see negative reviews on here. I woke up with a flat tire, so I came here because it's a few blocks away from my house. I explained the pressure was low so David went outside to take a look. He immediately saw that there was a nail in the tire and said it's an easy fix. I then asked what the charge would be and he said zero charge! I never thought I would walk into a tire place and that they would remove the nail, patch it, and fill the tire for free. The best ever!!!! I met Kevin last year when he was working @ a different Goodyear location. He's super nice and attentive. Last year, I gave them a good review bc I felt it was well deserved based on the overall service provided to me. This year I needed to change one of my tires due to road damage & I did not think about it twice before calling them. I was happy to see the great service had not changed. When I called, Carlos helped me over the phone & invited me to pass by so they could help. I live pretty far from this Goodyear location, however, I truly believe it's worth the drive. The Goodyear brand name gives you as the customer, courteous service. I am very thankful for that. I've visited this location three times, first for tires, then an oil change, and most recently a new oxygen sensor. I have always received courteous customer service. No doubt about that. Now, the Goodyear name does come with a hefty premium. BE PREPARED IF YOU HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO OTHER PLACE TO TAKE YOUR VEHICLE. This last visit I paid $151 for one upstream oxygen sensor that would typically cost between $65-77 at an autoparts store (i.e. Autozone or Advanced Auto Parts). Had I bought the part from an auto store and taken it to an independent mechanic I would have saved half the money and the part would still have its 3 month warranty. Back to my visit, Iwas the first one to arrive at the store at 7:30 and the work was complete at 10:30. I was given a free diagnostic (typically $110 after taxes at this Goodyear location and by comparison, FREE at any Autozone store) for choosing to perform the repair work at this location. In the end, I was quoted and charged for an hour's worth of actual labor. Since I'm not a mechanic I don't know if the upstream oxygen sensor really does take an hour to install. Keep in mind, labor was $98/hour. To put things in perspective, the median salary of a person in Miami-Dade County is about $29.50/hr. So, $98/hr seems like quite the premium for auto labor. Unlike my first two visits, this time I was offered a 10% discount for being a AAA member. I read another post about how another Yelper was offered free oil changes and saved 25% off of their purchase at another nearby Goodyear location. After all this, you can understand why, if anything, I feel bamboozled and why I gave this location a two-star rating. It is what it is at this point. If anything, the morals of this story are: 1) It pays to be a AAA member and 2) find an experienced and honest independent mechanic unless you enjoy paying over premium prices on goods and services. Oh, and I learned one more thing, apparently in Florida if labor costs total less than $75.00 customers don't pay sales tax. Interesting. read more

Stay away. Purchased 4 new tires , in less than two weeks company will not honor warranty. After a 2 hour wait.

Let me explain why I almost gave this location a one star review. Last Wednesday, I ran over a nail and called roadside assistance to put my spare tire on. I then called this location and scheduled an appointment to come in the following Saturday at 0845 to have the tire repaired or replaced (with a warranty). When my husband and I arrived, Miguel told us that he would put it in for a repair and it would take between 1 - 1.5 hours. We said ok and walked to shops a few blocks down to waste time. We returned after an hour and noticed the car had not been moved from it's parked location. We decided to give it the full 1.5 hrs before my husband asked for a status on the tire. It was then that Richard told us that the tire could not be replaced and they would have to order the tire because it was not in stock. We were both disappointed that they they did not tell us this as soon as they found out resulting in almost 2 hours wasted on an early Saturday morning. Richard ordered the tire and we left unhappy. The following Monday, Miguel called to inform us that the tire was in. We told him I would come in the following day when they opened. When I arrived, I was the first customer. Richard was there but Miguel was not. My car was ready within 30 minutes which made me very happy. As I was checking out with the paperwork with Richard, who was always very polite, I explained to him that I wasn't happy on Saturday with the service provided by Miguel because my husband and I wasted 2 hours of time for something that we should have know within the first 15 minutes. Richard then mentioned that he was the manager and Miguel is his assistant. He apologized and said that never should have happened and that it never would again. I was relieved to hear this. Later that day, I received a call from Miguel who listed to my concern and apologized for the situation. I am giving them 5 stars because, although I wasn't happy with the service initially, after I voiced my concern, I feel like they were very understanding and attentive to my situation to ensure I was satisfied with the end result. read more

I had Service preformed at this location back in December 2019. That experience was good other than small issue with service tec. Yester day I called and made arrangements to Have more work completed on my Silverado. I needed to replace two rotors and brakes. This morning I arrived early to drop off the Silverado before the location opened. This was due to needing to drop off my wife at the Metro Rail station. This took place at about 7:45a.m. As we were parking the counter guy for Goodyear showed up. I ask him if it was ok to drop off early and then return to sign. He stated they were not open yet. I then repeated the question and stated I will return to sign or even sign something if needed. He then repeated that the location was not open yet. So again I asked if we could drop the truck off and I come back and sign. His response was again they are closed and then stated he cant make a work order. So given that this location will not answer the question of can we drop off and come right back to sign I told my wife let go to another location as this location wont answer if we could drop off and are completely unwilling to help there customer. So with this said Please take the time to drive to the location in the Gables. read more

I bought 4 new tires in this location 3 years ago.They put in the wrong size tires on my Honda, which I only found about recently. I had a flat because of a nail, and took my car there to repair the tire. They said they could not repair (I am not sure that was true) but ok, I agreed to buy a tire. They said I need 2 new tires because I can't drive on one tire of the right size and the rest of the wrong size (which is a problem they created in the first place). Fine - got two new tires. As soon as I left the shop, my dashboard lit like a Xmas tree. I take the car immediately back - 10 minutes after I left - and now I am told I need all new tires because the car is freaking out because of the different sizes of the tires?!? And they didn't know that 10 minutes earlier??? So, I ended up having to pay for FOUR new tires when I could have driven another 1-2 years on previous tires BECAUSE OF A PROBLEM THEY CREATED. No apology, no discount, no nothing. Unprofessional, incompetent, and greedy. read more

I wish I would of read the reviews before heading over to this location. I went in for a tire patch (you would think that would be easy).. the guy at the front says "oh yeah no problem, we will take care of that free of cost" .. I was beyond happy. He told me it was an hour to hour half wait. I had my husband pick me up and we waited nearby. I get a call over an hour later and the guy says "well we can't repair your tire, the tire is wasted INSIDE due to driving on a flat (I didn't drive on a flat)... then he said you need a new tire and offered to sell me one. I was upset so I has my husband take me back and the guy showed me my car with the tire still inside (THEY NEVER TOOK OUT THE TIRE.. SO HOW WOULD THEY KNOW IF IT WAS SCRATCHED INSIDE??) .. He also mentioned the tire was wasted.. when my tires are not even a year old.. I was beyond upset!!! They made me wait over an hour to lie to me to be a tire. I went home and I fixed it myself with a patch and put air in it. Do no go here.. these people are terrible! read more

I specifically went to Goodyear for the reputation on the quality of tires and work, as my father, a 30 plus year loyal Goodyear Customer so loquaciously boasts about. This Goodyear installed economy tires on my vehicle rather than the premium Goodyear Assurance tires I paid for. I inspected the work and discovered the error. I also reminded staff that as per the written instructions on the work order, that the best old tire be returned to me for a spare. I am disappointed that Goodyear at this location does not have a system of checks and balances to ensure this does not occur. I do not think that the burden should be on the customer to bring this to the attention of the staff. To be fair, I must state that contact w/ SVC MGR M. Perez was positive, Perez empathized, apologized and seemed frank in his delivery, however, the system in place failed me as a customer. I do understand that good customer service does not necessarily come w/ the unreasonable expectation of eliminating all the opportunities for mistakes but in my opinion, Goodyear failed to use this opportunity to build a deeper relationship with me, the customer. I invite management to review the service recovery paradox (SRP) as service failure is one of the main determinants of customer switching behavior and the successful recovery from these failures is key to customer retention. read more

The staff is courteous and professional. I was in and out within an hour. The total for an oil/filter change and rotation of tires was less than 25.00 bucks. If you're a AAA member they provide you a small discount. I was really comfortable with the work they did and i expect to return. :) read more

Totally dissatisfied with service and management of expectations on behalf of this staff at Goodyear Auto Service Center. Day 1: Get here to have a power steering hose changed and was told it would be "2hrs tops". An hour and half later I am told they would not be able to complete job and I would need to bring back my car the following morning. I'm assured it would be addressed first thing when I dropped it off and my ticket would left open in order to assure its completed. Day 2: My car is dropped off at 10:10 am and once again I am assured it would not take longer that two hours. After going to eat breakfast and burning an extra hour, I come back at 12:00 pm only to see my car hasn't even been placed on the lift. As of 1:36 pm I am still in their lobby waiting on my car with no indicated finish time. My $20 complimentary window wipers just won't justify the lack of service. Please save yourself the aggravation and steer clear of this location for any of your automotive needs. read more
