You don't get much more local than this, Mr Nunez owns 3 shops in the area that are mechanics and tire shoos..... He used to own 5 gas stations but got out of that business years ago. He comes to work each day because it keeps him alive and he loves people. It's rare to find a local business like this that cares about customers like family and is QUICK to take care of people and help them get back on the road.... They repaired two flat tire repairs in 20 minutes AND they were crazy busy!!! I would trust these guys with anything, flat repair, oil changes, anything!! read more

Awesome service and price. Take your own chair but it'll be worth it. Get past the rustic look and you'll be very happy read more

I had my breaks replaced. 2 days later my car started rattling. I returned and they said I needed to replace the driveshaft center bracket. I said ok. I called the next day. They said they're still looking for the part. The second day they said that the work was being done. It was another Cadillac. I had to leave and go to another mechanic. That place offers the worst service I've ever seen. Maybe because I'm a gringo? I would give it a 0 out of 5. Never again! read more

awesome and fast! had me in and out in under 1 hr on a full tire dismount and mount. awesome spot

Been going there for about 20 years, never had a bad experience. Carlos has good prices on new tires and the related services

Very competitive prices I've been going to Nunez tires for as long as I can remember 15+ years. The location is small for the amount of business they receive however they are attentive and on point when it comes to customer service. read more

Really bad customer service... Called in to get a quote to replace my A/C compressor and when I got there I was told that price isn't valid. I came with own parts, so it's not that difficult to figure out. I also waited for two hours thinking the mechanic was working on my car. Zero communication. Very dishonest. Like others have said, they're ok if you have a flat tire, but nothing else. read more

Came here through a recommendation from my best friend, bought 4 new Continental run-flat tires today for a great price. Don Carlos is very respectful and honest. They are open Sundays which I consider a plus. Thanks to "Chuky" for the service. read more

These guys are absolutely top notch. Ever since getting retardedly wide tires put on my car it seems like I've been running over nails and getting flats every month. Fortunately for me, I just swing by Nunez Tire and they patch everything like new for $10. I've never had to wait and the techs have always seemed very competent at what they do. From what I understand they also offer brake service and oil changes though I haven't tried either of those services here. As far as tires go though, you can't beat their service and prices. read more

This has been the fastest experience compared to your large name brand logos for servicing. I've been going to Nunez for over 6 years now and there has not been one task he has told me he could not complete. I suggest everyone check this place out the prices are great you can't find anywhere else. read more

Check my review of Firestone to get an idea of how great THESE folks are. Small hole in the wall shop. Very Latin (Cuban to be exact) but excellent customer service and EXCELLENT work. Ohh yeah, best prices in tires (better than ACE tires). Talk to Carlos Canaci or Armando. They are the owner and manager respectively. Did my brakes on my Excursion and replaced my old 22" tires. EXCELLENT!!!!! read more

got two new tires put on yesterday and today one of them burst lol not a repeat customer for sure

Trustworthy local business. They get the job done Fast at affordable prices. All the repairs I have done here have turned out great. Although they are always busy, the service is quick. The owner is there 7 days a week - admirable - and he's very personable and friendly. read more

I've been coming here for years. I always get the best service here. My car is prone to getting nails stuck in its tires. I don't take my cars anywhere else but Nunez. They do a great job and their customer service is great. read more

Nunez Tire - Getting my tire fixed - Auto Repair Near Me - Miami, Florida

Great service! Mr. Núñez , the owner, is an excellent professional. The business is open on Sundays.

Disorganized, dirty and chaotic. Waited in my car for my turn. After 15 minutes of wait, they serviced another car that had just arrived. The place looks extremely dirty and the guy directing the traffic and the cars in turn is a mess. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME... read more

Carlos is a thief Avoid this shop at all costs or it will cost you. Agreed upon price was changed after services were completed...forced to pay more than we had agreed on read more

Got 2 new tires on Sunday and an alignment -and they did a great jobf- which was priced about half of what everyone else is charging. Took care of me immediately and everyone was pleasant. Had breakast across street while waiting for car. I recommend this place. read more

Went to my usual place Tire City for used tires for my truck. They didn't have my size and referred me to Nunez Tires. When I pulled up the place was busy. And as a woman that doesn't speak Spanish I can tell you I felt a little intimidated walking in. This is not Pep boys. This is like organized chaos. The first mechanic didn't speak English but quickly called someone else to help me. This man was so nice and really made me feel at ease. He invited me to sit in their air conditioned office. The office is small and dirty but cool. It took some time to find the right size for my truck. And while waiting I met the owner Carlos and we chatted he was also very sweet asking me several times if I wanted water, cafe con leche, pastelitos. I met two customers while I was waiting that said Carlos was a very honest and will always have the best deal on tires new and used. Anyways they had my tires and the price was amazing. I left the shop feeling satisfied with the service they provided and they were #1 in customer service. So don't let the looks and chaos intimidate you. Three words to describe the place friendly, fast, honest. read more

I had my tire blow out on the dolphin expressway and told the Roadside assistance truck to bring it here because of the great reviews. yelpers were spot on! Great service and friendly staff! And fast service! read more

In my 20 years of owning a vehicle, I have dealt with a lot of mechanics. Carlos Nuñez and his dedicated mechanics are incredibly great! Mr. Nuñez is honest and values his relationship with his clients tremendously. The level of service at Nuñez tire is excellent, and the mechanics are highly skilled and totally competent. They fix everything and anything (except bodywork). His prices are also competitive, and they will get the job done right the first time. Highly recommended! read more

City of Miami: regular hellhole or the most godforsaken place on Earth? A valid question in my 11 month stint here. Mercifully there's Nunez's to tilt the balance (and balance any tilts). When your tires succumb (inevitably) to the poorly maintained roads or demonically possessed drivers running you into canals, go to the place where everyone knows your name...or would if you spoke Spanish. But that's okay--the two times I went my monolingualism wasn't held against me, and for that I am grateful. I don't like this city but I do like Nunez's. Quick service, friendly staff, and a refreshing reprieve from the narcissism, inequality, and poverty of spirit Miami offers up on the regular. read more

Best prices in town the owner has been my friend for years and nobody beats his prices nobody!!!

We needed tires for our car and it was a Sunday we found Nunez tire in Yelp. It looks crazy but it is organized. they are great and we did not have to wait more than an hour. Very friendly and best price in the area. Totally recommended read more

Just change my tires I have been a long time customer. Excellent prices and nice people

I was towed here from two flats on you guessed it I95 (or as I call the swiss cheese highway). They patched up my tires in about 1 hour. The service was OK. The big problem for me is that I don't speak Spanish and this was a very spanish speaking business. That being said they were efficient and got the job done. read more

I've been using this place for my basic tire and oil change needs. Not sure if the old man whose always there is the owner but he's extremely reasonable and reliable. He's a man of his word which isn't always that easy to find, especially in the car repair world. I recommend this shop to everyone. read more

Wife went while I was at work. They charged her $37 for conventional oil on a four cylinder vehicle. No work bill was given, detailing the service performed nor the oil they used. Just a CC receipt. If something goes wrong, only proof she went there is a Credit Card receipt, which they can claim it was for something else other than the oil change... Like others have said, they're ok if you have a flat tire, but nothing else. read more

These pieces of shits are worthless. They made me wait 2 hours before telling me they didn't have my tire size. Not returning to these disorganized punks again. All the positive reviews are 100% fake. Safe urself a trip to this shit hole. read more

Horrible experience! I had the bad luck of getting a flat tire about 1 block from this shop and took my car there. I PAID FOR NEW tires; however, the owner TRIED TO SLIP USED tires that even had a white sticker placed on them. I wouldn't have even noticed had not one of the mechanics discretely to whom I am very grateful warned me. He must've figured that I, a woman, would not have noticed and he was right. When I told the owner that since I paid for new tires, I wanted him to take me to his stock new tires so that I could select them; he became belligerent and questioned why I didn't trust him. Ultimately, another mechanic stepped in and urged him to not try to take advantage of me just because I am a woman. Even worse was that he improperly installed the tires in bad faith. So much so that when I was driving away, the tires were loose and wobbling badly. STAY AWAY especially if you are a woman, as the owner will likely try to take advantage of you. SHAME ON YOU! read more

had a strange oil smell and its looks like i have a lek from the front wheel. i stopped by and these guys were great. NO need to change anything, it was just the overwalming rain we had in the last few days that cuased it.... if it continues, i am coming back. good guys. read more

I don't have enough great things to say about this place. I had to move from Miami back to St. Louis, and just as I hit the 826 to head back home my car blew a rear tire. Horrible timing, but I was so lucky that a local gas station recommended Nunez Tire to me! The tire unfortunately was not able to be fixed (huge razor cut the tread), but the owner (who is an incredibly nice person!) was able to locate two Michelin PS4s for me in 295/30/20 immediately at his shop (HRE wheels on a BMW M4). I went ahead and replaced both rear tires at the same time, and they had it all done in 90 minutes and I was back on my way! Absolutely incredible, the owner and all the people working for him could not have been nicer. As well, even though I was moving away, they treated me like I was a long time repeat customer, and charged me a price that was beyond fair. A lot of places would have taken advantage of me, but not Nunez Tire! I drove the 1,250 miles back home after leaving the store, and the car was absolutely a tank and rock solid. They fixed my problem fast, did the job perfectly, and charged me an incredibly fair price. If you're in the Miami area I cannot recommend this place enough to you, I'm just sorry I'm in St. Louis now and won't be able to use them. Please though, use them for me and you won't regret it! Thank you Nunez tire!!! :D read more
