My battery was not working properly and I need to change that battery and get a new one. I was happy to find out that Advance Auto parts could do the installation, take the old battery and give me warranty. Unfortunately calling others location they told me that they don't install battery and that the don't install battery for this type of car. It's complicated. I keep researching and find out a battery and it was Advance Auto parts in another location. I went inside and ask for guidance. Orlando was knowledgeable, helpful and find a new battery for my car. He also clean and remove my old battery. Thank you so much. I really appreciate it.

As it happens I'm in the lot next door to the Advanced Auto Parts at Babies R Us and hubs and I have spent all but 5 minutes inside before my newborn needs another feeding. I go back to the car to start the car up and the battery is dead! We didn't get a warning at all. Not even a jump from a friendly passerby helped. It's 8:05pm and there Advanced Auto closed at 8pm. We get permission to leave the car in the lot overnight and hubster goes into mechanic mode during his lunch break to replace the battery. He takes the old battery out which is exactly three years old and brings it inside the AAP store where he receives a battery test. (Hubby has the good sense to watch a YouTube video on battery replacement before beginning). Our normal Cold Cranking Amps is 745 but the test is only showing 336! The old battery also shows white corrosion on the positive (red) terminal post, another sign of a bad battery. Batteries have gotten much more expensive. We were offered two plans: 2 year or 3 year warranty. A free replacement within this period if you don't loose your receipt! A picture of the receipt is also fine. Once the battery was reinstalled the car started right up. Voila. While this was a minor annoyance these things happen. I hope nothing else is wrong with the car. I received decent service here and was pleased with the outcome. Super convenient my car broke down at Babies R Us and they happened to be next door.

I was dreading the process but Suniland Auto Tag made everything so easy. The girls at the front were very friendly and helpful. I was in and out of there in about 10 mins with my new plate in hand! Not sure if it cost more than if I would've gone to the DMV and done it myself, but I honestly don't care. It was worth it for my peace of mind and to save me the hassle. I will definitely come back here when I need to renew my tags. Just wanted to mention, they are walk in only and can get very busy. I came in a little after they opened on a week day and was able to go right up to the counter, but soon after I arrived a bunch of people showed up. So it's probably better to go early during the week rather than later in the day. They also are open on Saturdays which is a bug plus if you can't make it during the week.

So when I recently purchased another vehicle, I stopped by on the way to work to do the title work and transfer the tag from another vehicle. The person that helped me was rude for no reason. Her customer service skills were abysmal. Her job knowledge was also lacking. I needed a temp tag for the vehicle I was taking the tag from so I could sell it and she simply said we don't issue them. I knew this was incorrect as I have done it in the past. Thank goodness for the very nice woman next to her that said they could issue a temp tag. Worst experience I have had here in more than 30 years. I won't be back. I'll be going to the Hammocks tag agency from now on.

The problem was diagnosed, a part was ordered, and I popped by again when I was back in town to get the service done. It turned out the code the reader gave them was not the right one, and despite the fact that the new part had already been installed, Mike and his team did more diagnostics, ran tests on the old part, reinstalled it, and didn't charge me a cent for the service. I expected to at least pay for the 6-8 hours of labor the mechanics did in trying to figure out what was going on, but Mike wouldn't let me pay or even let me tip! His reasoning? "You're paying me to fix your car, and we didn't fix your car." If you're looking for a reliable mechanic who will charge fair prices, get work done in a reasonable amount of time, won't try to upsell you on parts and services you don't need, and will be honest when he doesn't think he can help you, come to Pinecrest Automotive Center! I will certainly be back.

They were so fast and was able to see us and then Mike didn't even wanna charge us!!!!!! He was honest and helpful so we tried to give money so instead we gave it to Chris as a tip since they wouldn't take our payment. I highly highly highly recommend this business. I was helped by a very nice young man named Matias Zambrano. I explained to him that I had gone to the store on old Cutler, where an intellectually challenged young man told me that my battery was fine. Matias checked the battery. Confirm the battery was for all intents and purposes no good. He then honored my warranty. I had three months left on this battery and very quickly installed the new battery. He went above and beyond by suggesting that I buy covers for the terminals to protect against the heat and the corrosion that we all see I was so impressed by him I complimented him to his manager. This is store number 9940. I will return especially if this wonderful young man there.

Went outside to attempt insta, but it was not the correct bulb. Went back inside less than 5 minutes after purchase, communicated with THE SAME REP, who asked me if I opened it after I told him it wasn't the right one. And I replied yes is that okay?"" His answer is "NOT REALLY." Thanks for the great customer service. I hope this helps someone else to avoid poor service.
