I was nervous because I'd seen some not so great reviews, but this was the easiest car-buying experience I've ever had, and I'm not sure I'll ever go to a dealership ever again. I previously owned a sedan and had been receiving notices from the dealership I purchased it from to turn in my car for a newer vehicle. I had already been thinking about turning in my car for something larger, so I started the process with the dealership. Their customer service always left something to be desired, but - and I don't know if this was due to the pandemic and a smaller staff - the process was so frustrating...if they wanted the sale, they weren't acting like it. So I did a Google search to find another dealership (I specifically did a search for a Hyundai Tucson in my area) and Carvana came up. From start to finish - meaning finding the car I wanted, mulling the decision over a bit, leaving on a 4-day vacation, purchase, delivery, paperwork, ALL OF THIS - the process maybe took a week. And then, because I had to leave town for a bit, I scheduled the new car delivery - easily, I might add - for 2 weeks later. The hardest part was dealing with my insurance company, because Carvana cannot turn the vehicle over to you without proof of insurance; but my insurance company had to manually change my paperwork since it was for a future time period? I don't know, but that took a few phone calls back and forth with the insurance company. Other than that, the guy who delivered the car was incredibly nice and answered all of my questions (specifically around transferring my registration/plates) and even gave me a "thank you" gift from Carvana - a nice touch. With the delivery, plus the paperwork, plus him taking the new car off the truck, taking pictures of my old one and putting it on the truck, the delivery lasted maybe 20 minutes or so. He even remembered to take off my bumper sticker and SunPass for me because I forgot. They continue to keep in contact with you about your purchase throughout your 7-day adjustment period (when you test drive the car and see if you want to keep it). I guess everyone's experience is different, but I had absolutely no issues with customer service, hold times, my scheduled delivery... Sorry for the long review...but also not sorry! The only negative was trying to understand what paperwork I needed to upload at times, but that's on me. Carvana called me when I uploaded the wrong document and told me exactly what I needed...not even 30 minutes after I uploaded the wrong document. Maybe the bar was set low because of my previous car-buying experiences, but in any case, I am absolutely buying my next car through Carvana and never dealing with a dealership again (I just can't deal). read more

I was originally in the market for a decent lease deal, but could not find one. I emailed numerous dealers and to my surprise, none seemed interested in answering my specific questions via email. When dealers answered my questions they all tried to get me into the dealership, which I was not willing to do. I have always felt dealers and car salesmen fit their stereotype and only once did my car purchase go smoothly with no gamesmanship. Then out of curiosity, I started searching on the Carvana site for cars within my preferences and expectations. To my surprise, I came across a 2021 Kia Santa Fe model for 5K miles at the right price! Got my own financing in place and from that point forward the entire transaction was done smoothly via the Carvana website and within 2 days of consummating my contract, my car was at the Miami location. It was stress-free and amazingly convenient. Upon inspecting the vehicle, it was like the report on the website reported. The photos also depicted the vehicle accurately. Thus far, I have no issues with the vehicle. Will I buy another auto from Carvana? Absolutely! I especially liked the fact I did not have to deal with a salespeople. Like many people, I have read all about the car sales industry and find the experience frustrating, exhausting, and unsatisfying. With Carvana there is no haggling. You do your research, visit the online inventory, choose the automobile, and take delivery. You know exactly what you are getting into and if you do not like the vehicle, then you have the no questions asked 7-day return policy. read more

Best experience dealing with a online dealer ship. I really did not want to go to a lot and get scammed by a sales guy so we went with Carvana. It was our first time and it did not disappoint. My only advise is plan ahead of time for the car arrival. I wanted the car to arrive on a specific day but due to delivery issues I was left waiting two more weeks for the car. It was not a big deal to us but I can relate it would be for others. Give your self a waiting period of 3 weeks in case. I was notified about the delays and contact every other day that my next deliver day was on task. The car was drop off right at my house. The deposit was not taken out early either but on the day I got the car. It was supper clean and they let me look over the car before handing it to me. The deliver guy was extra helpful and friendly. The purchasing process was really easy. I used Carvana's financing option. I purchased on 7/4, and the car was delivered on 7/5. The delivery driver, Garry, communicated well and kept me up-to-date throughout the day. My vehicle registration was completed a day after the 7 day return period expired. I had to make use of the 100 day warranty to fix two issues: an oil level sensor and two damaged engine mounts. The repair cost me $280 out of pocket because the warranty didn't cover replacement oil (luxury suv) and some other things. The repair shop had no issues with the filing a claim with warranty provider. The repairs were the only major issue because a test drive revealed these problem and Carvana advertises that they inspect the car and test drive it. The only reason I didn't return the car is because the repair was mostly covered by the warranty. read more

The whole process was simple and stress free. I looked online, saw the car I wanted, received a great price for my trade in, and I picked the car up from their vending machine. This is the 2nd time I bought from Carvana. The first time I had my car delivered, but this time I wanted to experience picking the car up from the vending machine. That was a great experience!! It was so dramatic, the sounds and seeing it come down. Then it spins around so you can admire the car and then it comes out sideways. I loved it! I had plenty of time to check over the car, take it for a test drive, and load my stuff in it. Joel (I hope I spelled his name right), helped me and was so patient with me. The car listed was never in stock. Bait and switch to get stuck with their financing. I found a vehicle that I really wanted so I moved forward with Carvana financing and followed through with everything on my end. I received an order confirmation with a set pick up date. So I went ahead and purchased insurance. I check back in with customer service about a week later because I hadn't heard from anyone since my order was confirmed. Come to find out they sold my my car to another customer. The robot sincerely apologized. The End. - Carvana Financing can't be used elsewhere. So your stuck with their offerings if your vehicle ends up not being available. -Customer Service reps are robots. It was described in detail from bumper to bumper & the inside was detailed & perfect. The driver that dropped off my car was very detailed & made sure I was happy with everything. We went to the local dealership with the idea they would come close to matching the offer from Carvana. The local dealership offered significantly less (with the usual chicanery), and then said Carvana would not keep the price they offered. Selling my car to Carvana was an easy expierence. The communication was great throughout the whole experience. The whole experience took maybe 15 minutes from when the truck arrived. The check was ready,paperwork was ready and signed and the gentleman was courteous and friendly. My only regret is that the first offer i received from them, i should have taken. I was hesitant.
