The email notifications could use some improvement--the scheduling link in the email went to the wrong system--but the scheduling link on the website worked perfectly fine. I didn't buy new frames this time since my prescription didn't change and I'm still happy with my current pair. They do have a wide selection of frames, and while many lean toward the expensive side, the quality looks good and there are plenty of nice options to choose from. Overall, a positive experience and I'll continue coming back.

Given the year is 2025, it's disappointing to experience such microaggressions. Nordstrom Rack, consider hiring staff who provide better customer service at this location.

I was able to make a same day appointment. When I arrived, I found the location was was clean and well stocked. Melissa at reception checked me in and dealt with my insurance company mess up, which was not her fault but she was a pro and super kind and helpful. Then Dr Chuh saw me and was fantastic. He took the time to listen to my concerns and provide thoughtful advice after assuring me that everything was ok (reading my test results). He is very focused on providing great care, and I was so pleased with the time he took to make sure all my questions were addressed. Strongest recommendation for this location.

It has become extremely difficult to schedule appointments with Dr. Hinkle or Dr. Boyle. After waiting weeks, we've arrived for appointments only to be told they were canceled without notice. Additionally, the front office staff is often rude and make simple questions feel like an inconvenience. The newer staff responsible for fitting glasses also do not seem to take the time to properly ensure a correct fit. This has been very disappointing given the level of care we experienced in the past. Unfortunately, today was the tipping point and we will not be back.

The service isn't the greatest either, I was told to go to multiple counters back and forth to return an item, until a manager from the shoe department finally completed the return. They still carry the same variety of items ranging from perfume/cologne, clothes, shoes, luggage, etc. Since this location is relatively smaller (than other nearby Macy's), it is easier to navigate through the different departments.

Compared to other medical offices, where check-ups feel routine, meeting with Dr. Sutaria for an eye appointment seems like visiting a close friend, due to how inviting her personality is! A couple of times, when my eye was irritated, she would create space in her schedule to check me up immediately, even if it involved a very tight schedule. Additionally, due to certain factors related to my eyes, I had much trouble, in the beginning, fitting Ortho K lenses. Still, Dr. Sutaria persisted and kept accommodating until the treatment was very comfortable for me, not settling for anything less than the best for me. My brother also received his own specialized treatment, which had really amazing results. Overall, the experience my family and I have at Insight Eye Optique is phenomenal (11/10!), and I definitely would recommend Dr. Sutaria to everyone, whether it's for routine annual eye-check ups, or specialized programs (such as the Ortho K lenses and myopia management)!

I had one of the most disappointing eye-doctor visits I've ever experienced at this Reston office…read more We booked our appointment well in advance and even showed up early to handle any paperwork. Despite that, we still ended up waiting almost 30 minutes past our scheduled time before anyone saw us. The biggest issue was how disorganized the staff seemed. No one appeared to know what was going on or who was supposed to be doing what, and it created a chaotic, unprofessional environment from the moment we walked in. I wear contacts, and during the preliminary checkup I was asked to remove them -- which is usually fine because most offices move you directly to the doctor afterward. Instead, I ended up sitting there for over 20 minutes without my contacts, unable to see clearly and increasingly uncomfortable. Anyone who wears contacts understands how miserable that feels, and it showed a complete lack of consideration for patient comfort. To be clear, the doctor herself was great -- kind, knowledgeable, and helpful once we finally got to see her. But the rest of the experience was so poor that it completely overshadowed the appointment. Overall, it felt chaotic, unprofessional, and disrespectful of patients' time. I'll definitely be finding a new eye doctor after this.
