I had a sunglass emergency as one of the screws fell out of the side of my sunglasses and walked into sunglasses Hunt and was greeted with a very friendly young lady called Easley. I pretty much asked her if she was able to replace the screw that was lost and my sunglasses and she said immediately that she would look to see if they had a screw that fit. She tried about four different sizes and the closest that it came to was a screw that was a little bit too long, but you couldn't see that when you were wearing the glasses so I was more than happy to leave with it the way she did it. This is pure customer service at its best, even though I didn't purchase glasses here, I will definitely in the future. This just goes to show what a friendly sells. Assistant can do for business. Visited to get a pair of sunglasses adjusted which is advertised on their website regardless of if the sunglasses were purchased at Sunglass hut. I've also had this service done before and usually always have a great experience at this location. Today Diana and another employee refused to help me even when I showed them what was advertised on their own website. They then lied and said it had to be a brand they carried, which is untrue because that isn't stated on their website anywhere. I typically never fuss or write reviews but this experience was rude. Tonight I went in to change my pair of glasses I got as a gift. The girl that was there beyond friendly, helpful, and approachable. She really enforced social distancing by only allowing a couple of people at a time. She's also disinfected every pair of glasses every client would try on. Dayana was the sweetest person ever! She is literally the poster child of customer service. I called a couple days prior to my visit and she remembered my concerns immediately! I was given the warmest greeting as she was naturally friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to serve. She was able to repair and clean 2 pairs of my Rayban's in a heartbeat! She also ordered some replacement lenses for a 3rd pair I have. No pressured up-sale like most places! I can't wait to come back and get this other pair she showed me. I never go into these places b/c the workers always look bored af with 0 customers. Went with a friend and there were 3 ppl on staff who bombarded us with questions and kept trying to get our attention so they could make a sale. There wasn't even a single minute to browse without one of the employees jumping in to offer a try-on -_- Needless to say, we left immediately. I dont even care if they talk shit after we leave, that store only needed two people on the floor. I have had multiple frustrating experiences shopping in this location. The only reason why I pop into this location from time to time has been because it is within walking distance to me. However, I will not be back to this location and may never buy from Sunglass Hut again because of my experiences here. Their customer service is terrible. First, I spent a decent amount of money over Christmas on glasses and Sunglass Hut sent me coupons off of my next pair of glasses. The saleswoman (who I think may be the manager) kept telling me that I couldn't use any of my coupons. I understood that I could not use them on discounted items but there were no other restrictions on the coupon. Yet, she still continued to tell me that I was not allowed to use my coupons. I asked if it was because it was an outlet location and she just told me "no" without any further explanation. She was generally unfriendly and was not very helpful as we tried to ask questions about their products. Then recently I went in because my Ray Bans I had purchased from another location broke. I already had this happened once when I initially bought the pair and walked out of the store at a different location. When that happened, the store promptly ordered me a new pair to be shipped to my home. I rarely wore those sunglasses in the 6 months that I had them because they were so delicate. However, I recently started wearing them again because my dog got ahold of my other pair. The glasses literally fell off of my face and broke the day I started wearing them again. I took them into the store to tell them about the string of problems I had with these glasses and the previous remedies sunglass hut offered to fix them. The same woman in the store tried to tell me there was nothing I could do. After some push back, she told me that I could get half of what I paid for them towards a new pair and that was it. I pushed back again because I had originally gotten the glasses at a discounted rate because my boyfriend and I bought several pairs of glasses. Therefore, half of what I paid was no where near the value of the glasses. Still she said I was out of luck and I resorted to accepting her offer. I informed her I would call customer service and she still refused to offer any other remedies or suggestions. When I called customer service, they were much nicer and more helpful. They said that was the standard deal stores could do but then offered me a $20 coupon for the inconvenience. Already this was way better than my in store experience. However, he then told me that because they were Ray Bans that there was a special 1 year warranty where I could get my glasses repaired. He spent a few minutes telling me how great the warranty plan was and offered to put me in contact with them. The problem was that I already sold my glasses back to the store for next to nothing and could no longer take advantage of that offer. The customer service rep was very apologetic and wished the saleswoman in the store told me about that in the first place.
