Don't purchase on Sunglass Hut online. My review is on both Sunglass Hut and in turn their courier service used. I ordered online and required ID to be supplied to courier (which is fair as the goods are shipped from China/Hong Kong) BUT.... they only sent me one email but they don't give you enough time to provide the ID, as I had circumstances where I had no access to my email. I sent through my ID photo after 4 days, and after the 7th day, i check my tracking and find out that my goods are being shipped back to sender. No communication before it was being shipped back. Unfortunately for me, I purchased a birthday gift and due to this whole experience the birthday has passed and now I am gift-less and have to now re purchase from scratch. Buy your sunglasses elsewhere! Don't risk delivery complications by purchasing online. Either walk into a store, or purchase online elsewhere. I will also be posting a review about DHL directly, but at the end of the day, Sunglass Hut could have offered to send the product again, as they did have confirmation that their goods are being returned. It's now the end of October I still don't have any sunglasses after 3x 1 hour calls with a customer service . Nevermind. This place is just a huge scam. The sales will say anything and everything to get you to buy but don't believe any of it. It's all just one BIG lie after another. I was promised life time warranty on all the glasses I purchased. The sales guy specifically told me that if I ever have any problems with my glasses just bring it back and they will try to fix it and if they can't, they'll swap out a new one for me. Three and a 1/2 months later, apparently one of the sun glasses I bought have rubbers on the side and they started coming off. I brought them back expecting it to either 1) be fixed or 2) exchange and neither happened. The manager told me the way the warranty works is i return these glasses and get 1/2 off on new ones. Why in the world would anyone be willing to do that is beyond me. And that is so far away from what I was promised that it's not even funny. They're already making a bigillion percent profit since they're owned by the same company that produces all these glasses in the first place and still have a need to screw your customers over. WOW. This review is for the CEO of Sunglass Hut. If you want to have a successful business you have to have professional management. Your manager at the commerce location is nothing but. I was greeted upon entering the business. Once I approached and asked if my glasses can be repaired he notice it was not a new business it was a service to a previous-he was not interested in fixing the glasses that I purchased. He looked away and asked his assistance to help adjust. It just comes to show you the quality of service that is given by a company that has been given an opportunity to be at the this outlet, to service these people that do buy from these businesses. I bought a pair of Persol sunglasses at this location last year, only to have a lens crack five months later. I went to the store seeking a replacement an expecting to pay full price, only to be informed of the "oops" coverage that covers up to half the original purchase price applied to the replacement. Had hopes to purchase a new pair of shade for the summer, had been looking for some online. Decided to stop by this shop to look around but as soon as I stepped in there the vibe was off, the workers were rude and had bad attitudes. I purchased 2 pairs of sunglasses on 5/24/21 that were supposed to be new. Instead I received some from the wall display. I returned them to the culver city store the following day 5/25/21. I purchased them with my debit card and the funds were supposed to go back to that card and I still have not received my funds. I notified my bank on the situation as instructed by the store since they claimed to have issued my refund. The bank issued the money back but took it away cause Sunglass hut claimed I didn't return the when I received a refund receipt. So the bank claims the cannot help me. Employees at this location are downright rude starting from the moment we entered the store. Not only to us, but to other customers too. All of them seemed to be very busy cleaning the merchandise, so, nobody bothered to approach us to let us know that we cannot touch/try the sunglasses, unless we're buying. Me being a customer, touched the sunglass that I wanted to try on, only to be yelled at Julio like "are you going to buy that? Because if you touch it I would have to clean it". After that incident, he followed me throughout the store acting impatient, asked me if I'm done choosing, because he needs to clean anything that I touched. Check-out was awful as well, he had us standing at the register for a long time because they were too busy talking amongst themselves while cleaning sunglasses. When he noticed us just standing infront of them, Julio then ask me rudely if I am ready to check out, took my money, gave me my receipt then proceeds to clean his register. Looked at me like "what are you waiting for?" He then realizes that he hasn't given me what I purchased. No apologies whatsoever. Not to mention he charged me wrong! I bought 2 sunglasses from here before. But today i tried to show the scratch on their display sunglass and whether they have new one. I had to place 5 calls to 1st correct order than to just cancel the entire order after waiting a month And received nothing. On October 2020, I purchased 2 pair of sunglasses from Sunglass Hut in Citrus Heights, CA. One pair had to be ordered. Now comes the twist I could not have seen coming. The pair that were mailed "were the identical pair purchased at their store." I was then put in position to mail them back to their Distribution Center and write a note conveying such "and" I decided to ask for a refund at that point. The time spent in making numerous calls to check status of refund was the worst ever I have experienced. For starters, refunds from Sunglass Hut take 30 days. Each representative assured me that the refund was in process; well, it wasn't. REALITY: It took 4 MONTHS TO GET THE REFUND - yes, 4 MONTHS!! So many employees dropped the ball, it was astounding. What could they offer me for all this inconvenience? 50% off next visit (are they kidding, no thank you)! Imagine the frustration repeating the same scenario each time, call after call, as to status of refund! I spent more time chasing this refund than the sunglasses were worth! I bought a pair of Dolce and Gabbana sunglasses for Christmas for myself. They were the last pair in the store and they were marked down from $320 to $139. However when I got them home I realize they were loose and would fall off my head therefore I did not wear them. Well a month and a half later I went to the mall as it was my birthday, and I thought oh I'll take in the glasses for them to tighten for me so I could finally wear them. When I did that the sales girl snap them in half! Now these were the last pair so they couldn't replace the exact same pair which sadly, I understand. However the only thing they offered to do for me was to sell me another pair of glasses at a discounted price($139). First of all there is not a single pair of sunglasses in that store for that low of an amount which means I would have to pay money to purchase another pair of glasses that I don't even want in the first place! They refused to give me my money back and sent me away with my broken glasses! I didn't even get to wear these glasses one time in my life and she ruined them for me along with my birthday!!! I am now dealing with the corporate and they are supposed to get back to me within a week. However nothing is going to be done to make me happy because I want my glasses back! Oh dear. I'm actually very surprised at how bad the rating is for this store. I'm surprised because when we went, we were not only provided with amazing customer service but were also provided with the exact sunglasses we wanted for a fraction of their actual prices! Although we had just gotten back from Vegas the day before and completely obliterated our wallets at the outlets there, we decided why not make a second trip to the Citadel Outlets? We walked in and saw all the sale signs. Immediately I tell the bf, "look for the foldable Dolce and Gabbanas. See if they're on sale!" He's got a great eye and finds them BUT he finds them in a section called "Imperfects". Not knowing what the exactly entails, we ask the closest associate (Juan). He thoroughly explains to us that it just means that sometimes the companies send pairs of glasses that aren't exactly up to their standards for retail sale. So Sunglass Hut gets the okay to label them "Imperfect" and discount them heavily. He also even took 20 minutes to help us find the "imperfections" in the pairs of Prada and Dolce and Gabbana glasses we picked up. As if he couldn't get any better, he showed us the "common" things marked as imperfections. Needless to say, we love Juan and he definitely needs to be recognized by his bosses. We walked out, supremely thrilled with our pairs of Prada and Dolce's for the ridiculously low price of $450 something change. read more

Please be careful when you use your debit or credit card as a payment method. The sales associate Magdalena charged my husbands debit card twice! After the first APPROVED transaction was approved she told us that it didn't went through. Which it didn't make sense because I clearly seen when it said approved and I had my husband check his bank mobile app right there And it showed that $314 was charged. We clearly show it to her and she called the manager Prisicilla which they both guarantee that it wasn't gonna charged to the account and that nothing was approved! Which it was a total LIE! So there goes my husband and swipe the card again and Magdalena gave us our receipt and reassured us that it wasn't going to be charged twice. Today is Day 2 and there's TWO approved transactions! Definitely feel robbed and it's so annoying to be back and fourth with them because now we need to WAIT 3 days to get our money back!! Keep in mind that this location has ALOT of tourist and many people like us trying to find good deals. But to have this happen to us I'm pretty sure they have robbed a lot of people this way!
