I would not recommend SunFire Construction based on my experience. They wasted 8 months of my time with one excuse after another. After months of delays, they finally scheduled the electrical work. SCE came out and shut off my power so the electrical panel could be upgraded, only for SunFire's electrical contractor to determine that my panel could not be upgraded. What is extremely frustrating is that I don't understand why this couldn't have been determined during the previous visits. Instead, I was left without power for hours because of their lack of planning and communication. This wasn't an isolated incident. SunFire would schedule an appointment, SCE would show up to turn off the electrical panel, and then their electrical contractors wouldn't show up at all. There was no call and no explanation. SCE even indicated to me that this happens frequently. After 8 months of delays, missed appointments, excuses, and poor communication, I have completely lost confidence in this company. I would never use SunFire Construction again and would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Eight months is far too long to deal with this level of disorganization and inconvenience. read more

I had a very disappointing experience with this solar company from beginning to end. At first, the technician came out and gave us a price that sounded fair and reasonable. We were told everything was included and that the process would be simple and straightforward. After moving forward, the office suddenly changed the numbers and increased the price with additional charges that were never clearly explained in the beginning. It felt very misleading and dishonest. Communication was one of the biggest problems. Every time we called the office, we got different answers from different people. Nobody seemed to know what was going on, and nobody wanted to take responsibility for the mistakes. They were quick to pressure us into signing paperwork, but once issues started, customer service became very difficult to deal with. Calls were not returned on time, emails were ignored, and we constantly had to follow up ourselves. The whole experience felt more focused on taking money than actually helping customers. Important details were not explained clearly, and we felt like the company kept changing things after agreements were already discussed. Instead of feeling excited about going solar, the process became stressful and frustrating. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering this company read every document carefully and get absolutely everything in writing before agreeing to anything. Ask questions about every fee and do not rely only on verbal promises from the salesperson or technician. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company to friends or family. read more

The technician gave us one price, but once the office got involved the price suddenly became much higher. It felt very misleading and unprofessional. The office seemed more focused on charging extra money than honoring what was originally promised. Communication between the tech and office was terrible, and we felt pressured into paying more than expected. Very disappointing experience overall. read more

Christina was so amazing she was patient answered all my questions very friendly and informative will be going back!

Ok where to start, I will start with the Sales Rep Diego very Professional and knowledgeable of product and what we needed in our home. He enlightened us on all the options and helped choose the right products for our home. He informed us of the of the process from start to finish. We knew we would have to wait weeks maybe months for the city inspections and permits. But we were also told once installation started it would take the crew a few days to complete. Well they started the in the beginning of September to install the new breaker box then panel and battery installation started on the 25th. Well they got there and started moving installed all the panel brackets but then half day through they informed me they couldn't move forward because the electrical wire clips were missing and they had to order some. Now 25th was a Monday and the parts should come Wednesday latest Thursday. Well the clips or brackets didn't get delivered until the following Thursday the 5th. They came back to finish on Monday the 9th and all that time my garage was held hostage to panels huge battery boxes and wires. My roof had wires and boxes up there for 10 days. They were supposed to come today to finish but they didn't because Edison was doing work in the area and they said since Edison has a planned outage and they couldn't work but yet they informed me that today they were going to have the power off for 3 hrs to complete. Edison only had the power off for 1 hr which was 2 hrs less then they needed it off. Now they informed me they weren't coming tomorrow to finish because they we're starting another that was planned. Needles to say I am Angry I don't know why they are starting another job when they can't complete this job. It's to Bad our experience started off Great with Diego but the installation part has been a NIGHTMARE!! I hope they finish the job and I hope they change my mind from a 1 to something higher but right now with an incomplete job it will remain a 1! *UPDATE* Last I posted a lot has changed and has Gotten Done!! So they have completed my install I will post more pics when I'm home. The app is up and running the only thing we have been waiting for is the City of Fontana final approval paperwork. The inspector did come out on Monday and it passed with flying colors. As soon as paperwork is done I can start setting my electrical usage to what's best for us. The app is already showing since we have been connected to the grid with our Solar Panels the last 6 Days we have credited back 229.5 kw so I'm Happy. I would like to Thank Christina there at SunFire Construction for putting up with my calls as she remained very professional and for pushing all those involved. Thank you Again Diego and the rest of the SunPower staff. read more

To start, David was super friendly, patient, thorough, fair, compassionate, down to earth, insightful, very personable and extremely professional. He came in at a VERY stressful time, and helped rectify projects that other contractors started and left me with that had me at the height of anxiety. He fixed my artificial turf (that was previously incorrectly installed) as a bonus to the work he was contracted to do, gave me great referrals for stucco work and painting that came out amazing, went to Lowes with and FOR me, made design recommendations that far exceeded my planned ideas and expectations, made sure I was comfortable with every progressive step of the projects, and even supported my completion efforts by picking up where another contractor left off, by assisting me with city inspectors at project inspections, and was ready to fix anything they deemed needing adjustments! David and his team definitely felt like family by the time everything was finished! They came in and got things completed in a matter of weeks, with their level of efficiency, that had been taking months prior to their arrival. I am so glad I found SunFire Construction in the form of David and his team when I did! Would recommend them to ANYBODY looking for ANYTHING related to home renovations, and I myself will be calling them in the future for more upgrade projects that I have in mind! read more

I high recommend Sunfire Construction for anyone thing about getting solar installed. My go to person was Dilon and Sunfire solar work crew, they displayed awesome, professional work ethics and got the job done in one day. And for anyone worried about damage to your tile roof, that may have been caused during the install, it will be replaced with the exact same new tile. read more

David Tomar and Sunfire Construction did an amazing job on our kitchen remodel! Our kitchen had been torn out because of a drain pipe leak and Sunfire was the only construction company that didn't demand to know how much Farmers Insurance was giving me for the rebuild before giving me a quote. We spoke with 5 other companies and their business model appeared to be, find out how much the insurance is covering before they gave me a quote for the job that either matched or exceeded my insurance allotment. David has a good ideas and a great eye for detail and we got a kitchen that exceeded our wildest dreams. His quote came in significantly below what Farmers gave us. His crew was very professional, always cleaned up after each day and kept us appraised of any emerging issues such as the time of completion. My wife and I were so pleased, that today, we accepted a bid to have Sunfire Construction re-do two of our bathrooms. read more
