DON'T USE THIS COMPANY, they are supposed to check your roof prior to putting on your panels and confirming that the roof is in good shape for the panels, 2 years passed and my home owners insurance doesn't want to cover because my roof. I guess they just stated the roof was good to sale me the panels now I have to pay to get the panels removed by them or else the warranty of the panels gets voided. I should not have to pay, they should have told me off the back that the roof was not in good shape. Talked to the supervisor and she stated it's not their obligation to let us know, they are just checking to see if the roof is good to mount the panels. They should be more transparent with their customers. Waste of money. Also tried to look them up in the better business bureau and they're not credited. I would recommend to do your research and look for an alternative since they are targeting new home buyers but not relaying the full information up front. read more

I worked with these guys for multiple projects for a commercial building and then also for my home. My primary experience with them came when they installed at my house. I dealt with the same sales team as with my other properties but got the chance to experience the installation process also at my home. Our tech Jay came out and rigged the roof mounts on day one, electrical on day two and then finally installed the actual solar panels on day three. This was a very easy process. I figured it would be more involved and worked from home these several day. Barely even noticed him. Once complete, he gave me access to an app on my phone that tracks the power generation and that was that. I still am waiting on the power company to connect this system into their meter but other than that, it's good to go. I don't have any experience with any other Solar companies for comparison, but I can say it was an easy process working with Elbac and the final install looks nice and the software I use to track everything works really well. read more

I have never had a roof leak before. My roof was throughly inspected by Elbac Solar to make sure that my roof was in good condition. After Elbac solar inspected my roof they determined that the roof did not have any missing tiles or broken tiles and my roof didn't need any repairs. Elbac then proceeded with instalation. March of 2024 was my first roof leak ever. I called Elbac Solar and you send someone out to inspect the roof leak and your roofer words to me were the leak was from the instalation. Your roofer said you're installer did not reset some of the tiles back. When you're roofer came down from the roof he was covered in the black pase that he used to reset the tiles. Now come March of 2025 this is my second roof leak after Elbac installed the solar panels. You're second roofer said a tile was shift which means the first roofer missed it and he put a tarp what ever that means. Because Elbac doesn't give the homeowner any paper work i don't have what the first roofer did and said. I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY TYPE OF ROOF LEAK BEFORE ELBAC SOLAR INSTALLED THE SOLAR PANELS. read more

The initial contact with this company was a knock at the door. Caden introduced himself, but at the time I wasn't interested in solar. He proceeded to my next door neighbor's house and they were interested. At the time of their meeting, they suggested that we may be interested, so we set an appointment and Cameron was our rep. Both outstanding gentleman. Cameron was very knowledgeable, explained in detail and it was then that our decision was made. No pressure whatsoever. DO NOT USE!!! DO NOT USE!!! DO NOT USE!!! Worst experience ever!!!! Do not contract with this company. The construction workers maybe good people. However, those who manage or communicate on behalf of the company are terrible. No communication when construction workers will be on your property? They show up and expect you to be available. When documents need to be sent to an electric services provider, the documents are poorly sent. So as you can probably guess, the documents were denied several times. On another occasions, the city failed the work/installation 3 times. So solar was pushed back several months past the completion date. To top it off my panels were also offset so they looked terrible on my roof. I asked several times for someone to come out and simple correct the issue. It took them a couple of months to come out. There was no communication when they showed up, and didn't have the common courtesy to have me inspect the work before they left the job site. Again terrible customer, service do not use. read more

We had been going back and forth with the idea of getting solar panels for almost a year. We had seen many reviews from many companies and couldn't make a decision because although there were many positive reviews, there were also many negative reviews on all the companies we had looked into. We originally signed with a different company but then quickly changed our minds once we did a little more research. I will say that the process from start to finish is long and you must have a lot of patience throughout, it will be like this with any solar company, there are many steps and outside agencies involved. Our experience with Elbac has been very positive from start to finish. Elbac has been very communicative throughout the entire process. We always get a phone call right before someone came out to our property and once that work was complete we promptly received another phone call with the next steps. We have also had a positive experience with every worker that has come to work on the project. I've been working with construction contractors since 2009. This is the worst company I've dealt with, by a landslide. Terrible communication, the owner declined to speak to me after trying to get a hold of him numerous times, my project took almost a full year (typical is 3-4 months) and there were stretches of a month where I wouldn't hear from anyone. I honestly didn't know if they would have even finished had I not been soooo persistent in staying on them. I thought I was going to have to sue them, but I researched the owner and they have used many LLC's so they must burn entities due to the way they do business. I should have read more bad reviews before I signed with them which is why I'm trying to add to these reviews so more people don't have to go through what I experienced. read more

Worst experience ever!!!! Incompetence from start to not even finished. No communication between tons of different contracted out young companies with no professionalism. Alexander Lopez below works for this company? How can he review if he works there? I feel duped at now $105,000 in the hole, so upsetting. Been waiting to speak to Bill the owner of this company for weeks. Maybe he will finally reach out now after this review. This mornings experience really took the cake with the roofing company office manager mad at me that I didn't have their papers ready for them for their inspection? The inspector was so confused and said he had tried calling as did I to try and figure out where the papers were for h to complete and sign. I'm the client/customer and if I need to print something out for your company like I have for other previous inspections (again I didn't think I would need to do that but I did) this time u said u emailed them? To who? Oh man, do ur research before u choose this company. Look out for they're sister companies "fix it right roofing" who definitely fixed it wrong at I don't even remember the random company/guys in an suv who dropped off/delivered panels and didn't have proper equipment to remove the pallets so brought them over 1 by 1 and leaned them against my wall between my neighbors house & 1000s of pounds later the entire cement cinder block wall came crashing down. Thank god my dog or young twins were not killed. $4000 (yes they obviously had to pay for it) and many runs in my neighborhood after my large pit bull because she kept getting out for 3 days straight and a messy installation later and here we are. read more
