Just wanted to send a huge thank you to Will for giving my solar panels the spa treatment. After checking out the before-and-after photos, I was ready to throw a party for those panels. I was honestly a bit terrified. Those panels looked like they survived a mud wrestling match with some very messy birds! But then you worked your magic, and the after photos blew me away. During my search for a contractor who cleans solar panels it didn't take me long to stumble upon Highdro Clean. I messaged them through Yelp and received a response from Will (the owner). He's a true professional and communicates clearly. After advising him that I had approximately 10 solar panels needing cleaning. He quoted me a reasonable price of $120.00. We agreed on a set date and time to which he contacted me the day before to confirm our appointment. I appreciated his follow up. On the day of service he showed me the before and after photos. I was impressed by the noticeable difference. His work is impeccable. He even uses clean water (not your garden hose variety) to properly clean your panels. Upon completion he mentioned the extent of his work and the additional services he provides. Seeing I've never owned solar panels before it was great receiving feedback on proper care and maintenance. He mentioned something I would have never thought of. How birds or rodents like to create nests underneath the panels causing a mess. More mess means more work to clean up. Which isn't good for you the home owner. I decided on a follow up appointment to have him install mesh guards bordering the solar panels. These mesh guards are triple coated PVC to protect against the sun; and they're made in the USA. I was sold right on the spot. This is a preventative measure to keep any pests away. Since I had just done a cleaning service days prior he was kind enough to give me a discount. So the installation for the mesh was $575. Will has pride in his work and it shows. As a courtesy he even re-washed my panels due to bird droppings found on them. We were having dead baby birds, eggs, sticks, and little poop rolls falling down on the side of our home (artificial turf and cement below). Our dogs would ingest something from the birds and get sick. We ended up having them bird proof our solar panels, roof, and light fixtures they were sitting on. I am so happy with the outcome. My panels and nice and clean and no more birds living under them! They also did an excellent job sanitizing and cleaning everything up. Now I don't have to worry about my dogs getting sick. My new solar panels had an excessive amount of overspray paint due to my neighbor home being under construction. My builder reported the issue to their paint contractor and they came out to confirm. They hired Highdro Clean to professionally clean my solar panels. Will, whom I spoke to over my wyze door camera, was very nice, helped tighten up my exclusion that was installed by a contractor I hired, and gave me some advice to further prevent pigeons from landing on my roof. Having purchased a solar panel equipped home a few months ago, I discovered I had two specific issues: 1) Dirty solar panels significantly impact power production; and 2) PIGEONS!!! In the case of the pigeons, we had a big problem with nesting and pigeon poop on our roof and around/under our solar panels. William provided a timely solution -- like other reviewers here, this involved a complete cleaning and eradication of the Pigeon problem, and putting up screening to prevent nesting and spikes to prevent roosting on the roof. The amount of bird waste that came off the roof was startling. When they were done, the solar panels, the roof, and my yard was sparkling clean -- they even power-washed my patio where much of the debris came raining down from the roof! The other great outcome was the immediate improvement of the power production of my solar panels. I will post before/after readings from my solar app to document the difference. They were amazing from start to finish. We had a pigeon problem underneath our solar panels and on our roof. He took plenty of photos to show us the issue and gave us great solutions. We decided to use his company to clean the area, put a barrier around the solar panels and spike the roof. They did an amazing job and even got photos and videos of the work done.
