I used this service over a year ago to get the bird protection mesh around my panels because the pigeons had finally discovered my house and pool. Since the install the birds have stayed away and Bryan came up with a very cheap solution to keep them away from my pool as well read more

I'm writing this review about a year after having BC Solar out to install a pigeon barrier around our solar panels. Let me start by saying the customer service here is top notch! Our installation went great, they even use cloths to make sure the ladders don't scuff up anything. They cleaned up all of the mess from the pigeons, showed me photos, and installed the barrier. About a year went by and one of our solar panels stopped working needed to be replaced by a different company. We made another appointment with BC solar to have the pigeon barrier added onto the new replacement panel. When the solar panel replacement company was working on the panel, they mentioned to me that this was one of the best pigeon barrier set ups they had seen and that they don't usually see it done this well. So, props to BC Solar on a great product! Everything has held up nicely and has kept those pesky pigeons out of our panels. Thank you for great customer service and a job well done! read more

Solar panels on my house attracted pigeons. That's fine and all, I didn't charge them a penny living on my roof. Our relationship turned sour when these ungrateful tenants started pooping on my car, my driveway, etc... poop, poop, everywhere! My Sunday evenings has to be wasted hosing off my driveway. Then, they pooped on the wall of my house for all the neighbors to see. That's the last act of mockery. My relationship with these Socialist Pigeons is over. So I called this company. This review is long overdue. Last year, I thought we had rats in our attic and once I got over that trauma, I had pest control come out, who informed me it was actually a pigeon problem. Thank god. So, I called Bryan and I have never been so happy to find someone to work on my house. I hate having to call any type of repair/contractor-type person, I'm always paranoid about getting ripped off and waiting around for them, but that is not at all how I felt with Bryan. I want to apologize to my neighbors for sending the "pooping machines" aka "Pigeons" from my roof to theirs. However, my wife and I had enough of these unwanted animals' pooping everywhere and their constant cooing into our chimney cap. We originally called BC Solar Solution to have our solar panels cleaned, but upon Bryan's arrival, he pointed out that there were several pigeons living under our panels. I watched these birds land and take off from my roof, it resembled a busy airport. There was no question, something needed to be done. We opted to have the mesh attached to the solar panels, other deterrent devices installed on the roof and panels cleaned. On the day of the install, Bryan arrived and went straight to work. The results of his labor were two happy "human" customers. Unfortunately, the pigeons lost the protection of my solar panels and I feel bad about that.....really bad. LOL. Later that day, I watched confused pigeons walking around the solar panels array perimeter, which they were unable to crawl under anymore and I thought to myself, "You ain't gotta go home, but you gotta get the hell up out of here". Solar companies do not inform potential customers that solar panels attract pigeons. People, this is a service that you need and you do not know it yet. My mom lives in the Providence community in North Fontana. The pigeon problem there is horrific. I was cleaning off her driveway and patio every four days to remove the pigeon droppings. But today, Brian provided us with a solution. He "pigeoned proof" the house and I feel nothing but relief! Brian is professional, charming, and efficient. He came out to assess the situation and promptly gave us a quote. While the service is expensive, the pigeon spikes are costly, so his labor is actually very inexpensive. He scheduled the work as soon as the materials came in, and he promised to come back to reassess the situation if the pigeons return. Bryan came last evening to clean our panels. He and his partner were prompt, personable and they did a great job. They took pics of the clean panels, alerted us to broken roof tiles and made sure our panels were working well (they did inform that while they are licensed to clean, they are not licensed solar professionals).
