We hired Ocean Grown Panel to clean our solar panels which are on a lightweight concrete tile roof that shouldn't be walked on. They had a way of cleaning the panels perfectly without stepping on the roof, even on a second story! They are now our "Go To" Panel cleaning service. Simply an exceptional job! See the before and after photos for the difference. We had not cleaned our panels, which have been up for approximately 8 years. Thanks for a great job! See you next year. read more

This company is garbage ! I called for service and it rained the day prior naturally I called to reschedule . They rescheduled for the next day , Tuesday . When the technician called and said he was 10 minutes away, I stated let's clean the inside and out of downstairs and I will set another call for the upstairs as my husband is immune system compromised. He agreed no problem . 5 minutes later I get a text from a person saying we don't work that way - it's not efficient for us to come back . WHAT ???? They could have charged me extra- I explained my concerned and still they refused to come . Not c we have to charge you extra- nothing . Just we can not come back because that's too much ! REALLY . In these economic times I am begging you to take my money ! NOT !!!! Poor customer service, stupid business model - which may cost you in the long run ... happy today , bankrupt tomorrow ! read more

We noticed our solar generation decreasing and realized we had neglected maintenance of our solar panels. The team at Pacific Solar Care were extremely professional. Price was what was quoted, service was prompt and quality of work was great. Will be using them for more regular maintenance in the future and recommending them to our neighbors. read more

Ryan at Ocean Grown Panels and his workers are awesome. I was looking for quotes on Yelp and NextDoor app for Christmas lights install and I saw his business sign on my neighbor's yard so I decided to reach out for a quote as well. He quickly responded and I researched his reviews and work on Yelp to compare others and decided I to move forward with him because he was so nice and work was good. He was not the cheapest, he was the medium so we thought that was a good sign as it was reasonable with the classic solid bulbs I wanted. I sent him our address and he looked up our house square footage and set a set up a day for install. Total price was $680 and it took just about under an hour. They were able to hang the lights with clips on our rain gutter as it was important to us to not have any staples or holes in our roof. They installed a timer and made it looks clean and festive during Christmas time! My kids and family loved the simplicity of the classic lights. Also they offered to remove our lights and store for next season with a returning customer discount. I highly recommend them for Christmas lights install and will also be reaching out for solar panel and window cleaning services they offer as well! Thanks Ryan and OGP team! read more

With the summer heat, my A/C units have been running in overtime. Since getting my Solar system installed back at the end of January 2020, they've accumulated a goo,on numbers are down compared to when they were first put in. Heat definitely plays a factor in reducing production but I was sure that dust/debris was also a factor, despite what many solar companies say. Ocean Grown popped up on one of my Social Media feeds and because I was just talking to my brother about panel cleaning, I decided to book an appointment. OG is local to me and had an easy to use online booking tool where you could see open time slots for any given day. Additionally, OG was very clear on their flat rate pricing. I booked an appointment for 6pm the same day. At around noon, I received a call from Ryan asking if he could come an hour early and that worked for me. When he showed up, he was professional, polite, and very courteous. He also explained his process and took before and after photos for me. After he left, I was very excited to see if my production change any and am happy to report that solar production certainly increased. I've posted before and after photos showing that I gained about 8kWh after the cleaning compared to the day before. Clear skies both days and same temps. I'll be having Ryan come back every six months to clean. I'm sold and convinced! Thank you, Ryan! read more

I found Pacific Solar Care after another company let me down on cleaning our solar panels. Pacific Solar care was super easy to work with, very nice and professional, pricing was right for the job cleaning 28 solar panels. Highly recommend them! read more

We had our solar panels installed for a few years now, but didn't really think about having them cleaned. When we started researching local vendors on Yelp, Ocean Grown popped up. I reached out to Ryan, who was quick to respond and provide all the information I was looking for. Prices are reasonable, and Ryan showed up himself to perform the cleaning. He is professional, ahead of schedule (and made sure I was ok with moving the appointment up, instead of showing up early without notice). Inspection/Cleaning was very quick, and well done! He took before/after pictures (attached to this review) and recommended that we schedule follow up cleanings every 4-6 months (without being pushy) to ensure increased efficiency for generating power. We will definitely use them again! read more

We have used Ocean Grown Panel for the past couple of years now and have always been so pleased with their work. They are so prompt, thorough, and competitively priced. We used them last year for solar panel cleaning and they did such a wonderful job! We had a pigeon problem this year and the guys came out so quickly to give us a quote and showed us pictures of the work that needed to be done. They were so nice and very low pressure about their services. We are so pleased with the pigeon proofing and cleaning of the panels--they also cleaned up area outside our home around the panels which we greatly appreciated! Many thanks guys! read more

Ryan does an excellent job. Great communication, very friendly, timely, reasonable pricing. I've had them clean panels twice now and will keep them in the roster. They have also done my Christmas Light installation for 2021 and are coming back out for 2022. They bring the hardware, install and remove. Found them on Instagram and they are a high quality service. Fully recommend. read more

This review is long overdue. I'm very grateful of Ryan services because he was able to accommodate my request for installation of Xmas lights at the peak of the season. Ryan provided great customer service because he was booked but was flexible with his schedule. I informed him of my expectations because of my background with the Marine Corps with attention-to-detail during the design phase and he superseded those expectations. I also informed him with my concern of drilling holes because my home is made out of stucco and he assured me no holes will be required which was also a relief because other contractors could not provide that service. The quoting/payment process is fairly simple which I really like. Most importantly my family especially my daughter were very happy with the results. read more

Ryan was on time, reasonably priced and did great work. The panels look great. Would use his services again.

I was referred to OGP by a friend, because I posted on FB for recommendations. I live in San Diego, but my grandma lives in the area and doesn't have anyone locally to help her out. She had been complaining that her solar panels weren't working as well as they did when she first got them, so we wanted to send someone out to get them cleaned, hoping it might help a little. As it turns out, it helps A LOT. You don't realize how much dust and dirt piles up on those things and how much it affects their output. It's crazy. Aside from the fact that the results were amazing, the tech they sent out was such an awesome guy. He was super understanding with the fact that he had to contact both myself and my grandma about everything, whether I was telling him to ask her, or her telling him to ask me about everything. She also told me he was "a wonderful young man" and she usually hates everyone, so that is REALLY saying something. He sent me before and after pictures and I'll post them once I find them, but the point is, 10/10 would recommend! read more

Finally found a safe solar panel, gutter, and window cleaning all in one! Ryan and the crew are honest, fair, reliable, and efficient. It is very hard to come by these days and with great quality of work and detail! I cannot give enough thanks to how fantastic the team from Ocean Grown Panel's runs their family business. From bid to completed process, from cleaning solar panels to gutter work as well as window cleaning were awesome. Although the bid was fair to high on price, Ryan's business model, team, work ethic, but most importantly takes his time and cleaning materials far out stood from the rest of the solar cleaning panel companies in or around Claremont, CA. My takeaways on an amazing job! 1) Experience is key 2) Quality of tools and materials among the best 3) Reputation and other Yelp reviews were spot on and just plain good honest work 4) Communication was excellent 5) Commits to project and always on time Cons 1) Always busy either in the commercial or residential sectors Thanks again Ocean Grown Panel! read more

Great service! Awesome job! Cleaned our solar panels and windows as well. Windows are gleaming!

Prompt response, on time, and methodical when cleaning my windows. They came out beautifully.

OGP popped up on my social media feed. I knew my panels needed cleaning so I reached out to them to get a quote. They were very responsive and the price was within my other quotes. I decided to give them a try. I also knew I had the beginnings of a pigeon problem. Ryan was able to show me pictures of what they were doing. He's coming back at the end of the month to remedy that problem. He never oversells and is not pushy. In fact, his approach is let's see if this works before doing the next step. And I'm so excited to see he hangs Christmas lights too. read more

I'm really happy with the service I received. Marc arrived on time and communicated well via text to make sure we had the appointment set and to confirm the night before and before arriving. It had been two years since the solar panels were installed, so it was great that Marc included before and after photos to show how dirty they were and how clean they are now. He also emailed me a checklist of items they reviewed while up on the roof, which is an added value. We also saw a 13% increase in production on the first day after the cleaning, which helped justify the cost of getting them cleaned. With clean panels, I'm looking forward to great production this summer. read more

We have had a great experience with Ryan with solar panel cleaning and pest wiring under the panels. He has been very diligent with checking in to make sure the wiring has kept wildlife out and has fixed any issues. We are currently wildlife free! The panels have been absorbing more solar power as they are really clean. He even scrapped off roof tar from the panels that the installers left there! Great service and quality work. read more

Ryan did a great job on our panels. We knew our panels wouldn't give us optimum wattage and cuts into the efficiency if they are dusty and dirty. Ryan gave me the low flat rate of $89 to wash our 42 panels. I thought it would be messy and dirty with all the water. But I walked outside and the ground was dry. Ryan uses deionized water to wash so that the panels don't spot up. We are going to be on the every 6 months plan...unless we get lots of rain...you just never know in SoCal. Thx Ryan. read more

Ryan was referred to us by a neighbor for cleaning our solar panels and we are very satisfied with his service. He is always on time and responsive to our questions and provides us before and after images of the solar panels when he is finished cleaning them. We also had him install bird guards around the panels after he informed us that pigeons were roosting under them (we were wondering where the cooing sounds were coming from, we thought they were stuck in our chimney). I would not hesitate to recommend Ocean Grown Panel for solar cleaning services. We have scheduled regular cleaning of our solar panels with Ocean Grown and have noticed an increase in the output of the panels. I know keeping the panels clean sounds like a 'no brainer' but one tends to forget about these things with the busy schedules and all and it's great not to have one more thing to remember and let Ocean Grown do that. read more
