Before work, I'd often get an iced dirty chai. Their espresso is so delicious and pairs well with the chai flavor. Now, whenever I'm back in Houston, I like to get either a cubano or an iced cajeta latte. During this visit, I got an iced cajeta latte less sweet. Such a perfect dessert coffee that actually wakes you up too. My affinity for Black Hole Coffee isn't just nostalgic (since I previously came here to study and for prework pick-me-ups), but the coffee is always great. I'll always make time to stop by when I'm in Houston!

We did ask a couple questions that seemed to irritate her, but we were the only people in there, so we weren't holding up a line or anything. I picked the chicken tamale as a light lunch - I got the most delicious chicken tamale I've had thus far, served with kettle crinkle chips and a tamale sauce to dip. There are many coffee/non coffee options. I opted for the iced horchata latte - agree with prior reviewers that this is delish. It is not too sweet and a great blend of vanilla and cinnamon that masks the espresso. The atmosphere here is cozy but focused, with a mixture of people working/studying and hanging out. 10/10 will be back.

The barista helped me pick out the perfect latte. I got the Island Latte, which the barista told me has toasted coconut flavors with a hint of pandan. I had them make it semi-sweet... There's limited seating inside, but I found a small table to get some work done (wifi access with purchase). It was a bit hot and humid inside, so I was a bit uncomfy. But that's Texas summer for ya!
