They did ask me if I wanted to leave a tip, which I always do, but stop asking us. It's uncomfortable and unnecessary. But overall, it was a good experience. She makes sure that you are as comfortable as you can be and is very personable which adds another level of comfort. I've gone to her for multiple services and I've never left disappointed. One of the services that I got was a back facial. What is a back facial, you ask? Well, let me explain. My back was very, very dry and was itching a lot. I mean, to the point that it was bothering me. A back facial fixed that right up. After that, my back felt moisturized and refreshed. I highly recommend it, especially during the winter months. I've also gotten a personalized facial and dermaplaining. My face was hydrated and super smooth. After that, my products at home felt like they were giving me more bang for my buck. I've gotten waxing services from her as well. She takes great care to make this service as comfortable as possible for you. I mean, it's not the most pleasant thing in the world, but I've had wayyy worse experiences. It's worth it to give her a shot to change your mind about how bad waxing is. And the cherry on top is, she is super nice and listens to exactly what you want done and what your goals with skincare are. She is actually amazing! She 100% deserves 5+ stars.

I asked "Peter" the receptionist if it could be done in an hour and he said yes. I got there and the lady started soaking my nails in a grocery store plastic bag with acetone soaked paper towels. Weird but ok. After 15 minutes of that, she announced "you have solar nails and we don't do that"! Really?? Your website says you do. See pic. She replied that their website was out of date like that absolved her of any responsibility! It took her 40 minutes of paper towel soaking, sawing away with an electric file and slapping on acrylic to finish one hand! She acted as if she wanted to quit then and actually told me that I should go back to my former nail salon. No joke. She finally finished 1 hr and 20 minutes later despite the promised 1 hour by Peter. My nails were so poorly done. And to boot 3 DAYS LATER my nails are bubbling from beneath the surface. See pic. Just horrible and a complete waste of time and money.

However, as I was leaving today, I noticed I hadn't received a receipt so I asked for one. When I got to my car and reviewed it, I saw I had been charged an extra $10 for a "nail fix." That was confusing to me because I came in for a builder gel set on my real nails and they had done my previous set as well. I went back inside to ask about it and was told by the manager that the charge was because I had partially removed the gel from two of my nails. I explained that the gel had started peeling after two weeks, so I removed part of it myself this morning knowing I was going to come get them fixed after work today. My main concern is not necessarily the $10 itself, but the lack of transparency. Three different employees assisted me today between my pedicure and gel set and at no point was I informed there would be an additional charge. When I asked why no one thought to alert me, I was told they "thought I knew." Very odd response for it only being my 3rd time. I was initially excited to find a new nail salon that provided good service and transparent pricing, but adding charges without communicating them beforehand (and then making excuses for the lack of communication) makes me reconsider returning
