Lots of great flavor combos and tons of toppings, makes it hard to pick just one. Cute small town ice cream shop

We actually arrived an hour before opening, but the owner -- who was sitting outside with another person -- greeted us with a big smile and invited us in anyway. He asked where we were from and spoke passionately about crafting his flavors fresh every day, using real ingredients. You could tell he genuinely cares about the experience. He offered us a sample of a dragon fruit flavor he was experimenting with -- it was light, clean, and bursting with natural fruit flavor. No artificial aftertaste, just smooth, refreshing perfection. We ended up ordering the pistachio baklava, and it was hands-down one of the best gelatos we've ever had. The pistachio was rich, nutty, and full-bodied -- not that artificial green stuff you get in most places. The baklava pieces added just the right amount of texture and sweetness, without overpowering the balance. It was creamy without being too heavy, and every bite made you want to slow down and savor it. There was also plenty of parking, and we got to sit outside to enjoy our treat in peace. We never felt rushed -- just welcomed and appreciated. We were so caught up in the moment, we forgot to ask his name -- but his kindness and passion won't be forgotten. This place is a gem. If you're looking for authentic, thoughtfully made gelato, this is it. We'll definitely be back -- probably with friends. *Update: We went back to Bosa Gelato last night and loved the experience even more. The place was very active and spotless, even during the final hour before closing. We shared a cone with strawberry and mint chocolate -- both flavors were delicious! The mint had a refreshing cooling effect without any lingering aftertaste, and the strawberry was perfectly sweet without being overpowering. The two young ladies working were super friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable. It was lovely to see the shop so lively at night!

Gym, Tan, Creamatory!!!!!…read more Summer time in Jersey is all about GTC, and not Gym, Tan, Laundry (GTL)... How can a summer be complete without indulging in a sinfully, decadent, velvety, creamy- ice cream... and this ice cream shop did not disappoint on ALL those levels. The owner, Joe, is a diabolical ice cream genius with the concoctions he has come up with. I have never in my life seen an ice cream menu to this extent ever before. When I heard about this spot I had to come and check it out for myself, AND I was blown away... hard ice cream, soft serve, coffee, floats, sundaes, milkshakes- your imagination can run wild here, and this place will still amaze you. Go big AND Go home... I had to "GO BIG" and get a 3 scoop waffle cone (Nutella, Funky Monkey and Cannoli). These were the flavors my tastebuds craved! The best part was the ingredients that went into each ice cream flavor. You can actually see the ingredients packed into each scoop... every bite bursted in robust flavor. With that said, I had to "GO HOME" with 3 different flavored pints. And, since then I've been eating ice cream everyday- SMH! I am sooo amazed by the Cookies-n-Cream. It's filled with soooo many cookies that it's not your average vanilla based cream... so come to the dark side. This is the first time I have fallen in love with a place that makes it by packing that much flavor. Needless to say, winter is coming and these pints will be perfect for a cozy indoor indulgence. MOST importantly... NO freezer burn OR brain freeze! The last thing you want to have is a headache/toothache as you bite down or lick an ice cream cone. In order to compete with the big players in this league, you have to know how to make it from scratch and not cheap out on the ingredients. Having a creamy consistency is HUGE, and tasting ice chips is a BIG no-no for me. Creamatory lives up to the name- which is the icing on the cake... and by the way, they also make their own ice cream cakes. PARTY TIME... This place is built with a huge dining area and party room in the back for some child friendly fun-time. You can either grab some cones or a cake to make your party a memorable one, because with this vast space you can make any kid happy here. FYI: --This is located right off of Rt. 46 in a small shopping center with a large parking lot.

If you're a girl scout cookie fan - this one is for you!!! Was super excited to see there was an option to blend vanilla soft serve with any italian ice flavor. My favorite is always graham cracker crunch but its hit or miss whether they have it. They change the flavors regularly but if they dont have what you want, I guarantee you'll find something comparable to fit your mood. You might actually spend an hour deciding in fact. They're also not that expensive. From just one scoop at $5.50, I find thats more than enough to quench my sweet tooth. Topping are only $1 extra. Staff is always friendly. I decided to get their Dulce de Leche milkshake without the whipped cream on top. The milkshake was OK, it didn't really taste like Dulce de Leche, but that was to be expected since I haven't been able to find a place in New Jersey that is accurate with that taste. I do have to point out that the ice cream they sell here, from looking at the containers, is "Gifford's Famous ice cream," so it'll match other ice cream places who use the same supplier. The prices were reasonable and there was a fair variety of ice cream, but it not being "homemade" (though they don't claim to be) is what isn't great for me. I believe they have a couple tables inside that you can sit on which is nice, and it seems like they also sell crêpes, but I didn't see them on the menu, though I did see the machine.
