Your delivery time and date is confirmed" Call to find out what time they are arriving as we have 3 trucks full of extremely heavy Saltillo, woody says "we canceled it because you didn't give us your id. " Wait we've ordered before from you and you've never asked for id and also why didn't you ask for id from the initial booking? They requested the id at 4:30pm the day before via email and call. Called back but they were closed... Call to see what time the forklift is getting there and find out it's been canceled. Woody ultimate hot head that thinks he's in charge of all things rentals and speaks down to you the entire time. Rudy just reiterates the same nonsense without one attempt to find a solution. They are beyond useless and staff literally give zero care to actually helping. They'd rather create more work for you and move on with their special lives. Nonetheless, went to Glendale and they got me a forklift immediately and sent it to my home same day. After what felt like an interrogation to rent a vacuum, literally 19 minutes on the phone! Finally got it set for the following morning pick up at 9am. All paid in advance with an extra $500 plus added to my card. Total of $1000 I get a call morning of from an employee to tell me the vacuum I paid for and reserved is not working. I had chosen Northridge for the proximity to my location. They referred me to the closest location to Simi Valley being Camarillo. I had to drive 40 minutes twice fir pick up and drop off. Employees at the Camarillo location were nicer. But, they don't tell you how to work the rental equipment. They don't tell you , you have to fill up the gas you use. ($13.45 a gallon they charged me 2.2 gallons I had used, $29.59) Seriously I saved a bunch of money by DIY, however be aware of the shit show of employees and services! read more

Tried to rent $3000 worth of equipment and was told to bring my ID to the store. I showed up close to closing (4:50) and the door was already locked with employees hanging out inside. The woman at the counter looked up at me only to look back down at her screen, I was left standing in the cold never Next I was told that the rental would be available and took my ID to set up an account. Upon finalizing the rental, they made me go back to the Sunbelt store again, for a third time. I'm a young professional and I will never use Sunbelt rentals again, they have horrible customer service and each rep tells you something different. read more

Wow. I never write reviews for companies, but their customer service is so horrendous that I had to write something. I rented a tiller and a sod cutter. First of all, the delivery was 2 hours late. I called multiple times to check in on the order, and kept hearing "they're 10 minutes away." 15 to 20 minutes later, I called again, hearing the same thing. Finally, 2 hours later, the equipment was delivered, but a good chunk of my day was shot. When I was finished with the equipment, I couldn't get a straight answer on when the equipment was going to be picked up. "We'll be there Monday morning." Monday morning, no sign of them. Called in the afternoon. "We'll send someone out by the end of the day." No one showed up. Meanwhile, I have two large pieces of equipment taking up a ton of space. Finally asked to speak to a manager, who was just as useless as everyone else. "We can't tell you when someone is going to be available to pick these up. We can't control traffic." Really? Your company is so disorganized that you don't know how to schedule pick ups and deliveries? Basic stuff that they can't get right, while all along, treating me like I'm an idiot. This forklift rental started out bad and I was so upset because the Sales Rep did not get info to me in a timely manner and when he did the info to acquire a permit was late and incomplete. This caused a huge delay on our project for our company and our vendor that we were meeting at the job site. My emails went unanswered and then I called them direct luckily Byron answered my call and fixed everything!! He knew exactly what we needed for the permit and got everything back to me ASAP which helped us to be able to get our permit and delivery scheduled right away within 2 days of our original schedule when we thought we were going to have to push it back another week. Bad experience. They were quick to deliver the equipment we ordered. But when we tried to use it, the batteries were dead. When we called, and complained, they said they would send a technician to fix it. They never showed up. They did however, send a new scissor lift at the end of the day. But by then the day is shot. We waited all day for crummy service and equipment that did not work. Fail. read more

Go somewhere else. Horrible service. Dropped off a machine an hour late, dropped machine like we know how to operate it, then it didn't fit and we needed another machine, but all they wanted was fees. Horrible company to deal with. Called in and all they said was call corporate. HORRIBLE customer service. Can't believe they ha e the same staff. Try United Rentals, more professional and more flexible. Terrible Customer service. Bookkeeping is not on track. Had problems with bill and did not contact for 4 months.

Quick processing of paperwork and getting equipment ready to go. They work with you to accommodate if things go wrong ( Missing bolt) , it was raiing so you are 1 hour late coming back etc. I keep going back, never had problems like the review on Yelp. read more
