This is the place for real builders. Home Depot & Lowe's has great aesthetics but for the structural and vital components they overcharge. This place has a drive thru lumber yard, so you can pull your truck straight in to the store and load it on to your truck, this alone makes it superior. My back is very happy about that. They have a great window selection, great quartz counter top selection, (also in the lumberyard). They have great deals on doors, floors, cabinets, and everything you need for new build or remodel. Love this place. Staff isn't overworked like other places, so they are MUCH more helpful and knowledgeable. read more

A hidden gem of a construction store, which looks like Home Depot but with way better pricing. I've purchased kitchen cabinets and flooring here before and couldn't be happier. The costumer service people were disrespectful and unprofessional, my dad went to look for the bathroom and accidentally started going through the employees only room, one of the older women there probably mid 40's yelled at my dad and said "not there sir" which I understand but afterwards her, a guy mid 20's with a buzz cut hairstyle and glasses, and an over weight woman started cackling as if they saw the funniest thing ever and they didn't even direct him to the bathroom. I would think they need to do their job and help the customers but I guess not which was extremely disappointing. They should train their staff to do better and respect others. Overall, the rest of the employees were nice and helpful it was just that bunch in customer service who were unprofessional and disrespectful. read more

I just came from HD Supply and had a very awful experience from Giselle the manager. I bought grass turf and it was mislabeled and they wouldn't honor the wrong advertised price. So whoever is buying this grass will think they are paying the $179 but actually paying $229. That's one way to rip off customers. There is plenty of parking at this mini Home Depot. Place is pretty much the same and things are cheaper than Home Depot which is why I came. We came in to purchase windows for our house and a sliding patio door. It took some time to flag someone for help. The first 30 minutes even though a few workers saw us looking around for things one one approached us. I few even looked away why we turned to try to get their attention. I guess you always get a few bad apples everywhere you go. Finally we flagged someone and told him we needed help getting some windows. Some windows were to be special order so he took us to the front and told us to ask for a certain individual (I forgot his name - apparently is the only person who takes care of the special window orders). You'll do a lot of waiting here, at least we did. We waited about 20 minutes standing at the front counter because everyone was "busy" but most of them were just talking with their colleges. Finally, one of the cashiers asked if we needed help. I told her that we needed to order some windows she just said we were in the right location (we were at the front counter, not that it mattered since no one took notice). After another 5 minutes, we were asked if we needed help from the font desk. We spoke to someone and got our quote. We came back 2 days later to place the order and paid in full a little less than $3k for the most energy efficient windows they had. Which was a good price (we placed a special order for 2 windows). They had someone roll the windows up and to my disbelief it wasn't the windows. I was so upset. What did I just pay for? What kind of windows for special ordered that are not refundable and final sale? There was a lady at the customer service desk that my bf explained to that we didnt want those windows and to cancel the special order. She said final sale for special order and instead of offering to exchange the windows for the ones we actually wanted she didnt want to deal with us and just wanted to return our money to us. What kind of customer services is that? #1, you always try to make the sale, so exchanging will guarantee the location with the funds already received and #2, try to make it right. As soon as my bf told me they wanted to give us our money back I was irate. My Karen slowly started to come out (this only comes out when necessary, in this case $3k was necessary) I asked her if she can get her manager. She rolled her eyes and called him over. She was explaining to the manager her version and of course left details out. I explained to him that we were given the wrong windows. I really think he knew they messed up and said that if he was able to stop the special order, would I still be willing to take the windows. Of course I told him, I had workers at my house at that very moment that I am paying by the day to work on placing my new windows these are needed ASAP. after about 2 hours they made it right. It only cost me about $1,500 more since they didn't include my patio sliding door. Prices are great but customer service is lousy and careless. If you do come, make sure you get names, make sure you show them what you want exactly and make sure you get charged correctly. I love my energy efficient tinted windows. Probably had the experience I've ever had at one of these home improvement stores. Purchased some tiles at the North Hollywood location but they ran out so they told us to come down to the San Fernando location. Paid $12 per case at the North Hollywood location 15 minutes ago and got to this location and they're telling me the same product costs $30 here. How does that even make sense... It doesn't, that's how. Spoke with Alma who is the on duty manager currently who is probably the most useless manager I've ever dealt with. Absolutely ZERO customer service. Doesn't know how to communicate. Whoever is in charge of hiring or promotions needs to really needs to change their methods. With employees (especially managers) like this I understand completely why this location has such horrible ratings - and why compared to the other locations they are not busy, literally just sitting at the counter practically swatting flies. The location is a little smaller than the other I've previously been to but either way unlike the other reviews on here the customer service I received exceeded my expectations. We ordered over 8000bdollars worth of windows . I ordered windows with black frame and a folding patio door 8x8 black frame. Today they were delivered . They are all black frame outside and white inside and the patio door that I paid over 4000 dollars for is 7x8. Prices are no better that Home Depot, customer service sucks. Had to stand in return line for 45 minutes because there is only one return register. The guy in front of me brought back 20 or so items. He handed the returns guy a stack of receipts. The cashier has to look through all the customers recipes to find each item. There computer system is obsolete. Home Depot can scan the bar code on every receipt in the pile then scan the items. Done in two minutes. WTF? If you plan on returning items after your project shop Home Depot or Lowe's. We ordered materials and paid for them upfront. The wait time was much longer than expected, but that was excusable due to COVID concerns. However, when the materials came in, they did not contact us. Instead they released our order to one of my customers based on their word and did not request permission from me or inform me they were doing it. When we disputed the charge, they basically told us too bad, the materials were signed for. This was our first and last time doing business with HD Supply. We believe orders should only be released to the buyer, not any related parties, unless prior authorization is given. read more
