Location is very convenient to I-5. The access the the station itself is easy and the lot is larger than most of the ultra tight commercial real estate you find in SoCal. If you're driving a larger vehicle, towing or in an RV there is ample space for maneuvering.The store has a nice diversity of snacks and even some healthy stuff. The bathroom is clean and has been attended to. This may sound basic but it's actually uncommon as many who travel have probably noticed. There's a propane filling area that is also readily accessible. The only drawback is that staffing often doesn't allow anyone to service propane needs. I had to come three times and actually called prior to coming to make sure someone would be able to accommodate me for a refill. I'll pull back one star for that but otherwise this station is highly recommended.

We took possession of a property with a tank that had an All State sticker…read more I called, left messages, and also sent emails to find out more about the tank. They never responded to any of the calls or online requests. I called our realtor and was told that the tank was owned by the previous property owners. So I called around and had another company fill the tank. 5 months later, I got a call (not sure how they found my phone number) from All State claiming the tank was rented, and I need to pay for another inspection fee, and I wasn't allowed to fill the tank. I refused to do anything until I saw some proof that the tank was not owned, and I argued that I should not have to pay for another inspection fee, especially since most companies don't charge an inspection fee, and the tank was inspected twice within the past few months. Within minutes of the phone call, they sent someone back out and shut off our gas when we weren't home!!!! I called - no answer. I called their emergency number... no answer (comical). They called me back, were super rude and demanded that I empty the tank right away, and they will have it removed the next day. Long story short, I had another provider switch out the tank to one of theirs the next day, and I want nothing to do with this company. I can't believe they left us without gas, hot water, or cook top for two days!! So unprofessional, so rude, and terrible at returning calls. The most interesting thing is that at no time did any of them try to de-escalate the situation or offer any solutions. Just hostile, rude, and unhelpful. So many better options out there.

This is my regular gas station and I come here at least once a week since they opened. I rarely check in because its listed as San Diego Gas and Carwash instead of what it is...a Shell! I just can never find it when I try to check in so it's a pain in the butt. While I am a fan of this gas station, I'm noticing as it ages, the vacuums are breaking at an alarming rate. They either don't have any suction or stations are missing hoses completely. I often find myself going from station to station to find one that works. The car wash also sometimes smells really bad. I have to wonder if they reuse the water and if it's safe - the smell is unbearable sometimes when you go through. You can't escape it. I noticed they recently placed people at the end of the car wash to dry off the cars better....I LOVE this and willing to tip/pay extra for that extra level of service. While I'm a fan...I really hope they start fixing these things to keep me from going to a location closer to the house. If I'm just getting gas and getting a car wash, I can get that at Bressi but I regularly have to vacuum after a week of activities with the kiddo and 8/10, i'm able to do so here.
