Gas is gas. Not far from the beach or freeway. If you want to grab a burger next door from In N Out, you can grab a soda from here and save some cash. Reasonably priced drinks and snacks as well as gas considering it's location. I wouldn't hesitate to fill up here again. read more

I stopped and had 4 propane tanks filled today. Even though the price was $4.59 per gallon, the total cost was only $75. I used to do tank exchanges down the street at Shell, but not any more. Refilling is cheaper AND they fill the tank with a full #20 of propane. Exchanges don't do that. The people I dealt with were very courteous and quick to help. read more

If you're traveling on the I-5 heading north or south and you take Encinitas Blvd east, this will be the first gas station you encounter. I like this station because the gas prices are low, the station is clean and I can fill my gas tank on the way out for road trips or when I'm on my way home. There is a shopping center with Smart and Final, a CVS drug store and Crack Shack chicken restaurant across the street. There is also an In and Out Burger restaurant behind it and Oggis Pizza restaurant adjacent to it. Lots of options all in one place. So...if you're traveling and need some gas, stop by, fill your gas tank and grab some food at a nearby restaurant or store. You won't have to go very far. read more

Valero - Valero Encinitas - Propane Near Me - Encinitas, California

Bottle exchange only. Not for RV refills. Oh well. Easy in and out too. Easy access to the freeway

These guys take their great location (right off of the 5) for granted. I stopped in today and not only was the service indifferent, but it was just plain rude. When one of the two men behind the counter decided to finally help the growing line, he was belittling and belligerent. Really unpleasant. read more

I am a regular customer of this gas station convenience store today. I went in just to get air for my tires and they would not let me unless I buy something then even though I buy hundreds of hundred dollars with a guest probably thousand annually don't ever go to the gas station rudeand they don't care about their customers. They only care about money. read more

They hustled and were very polite would highly recommend is you ever need propane in Encinitas

Stopped by this gas station around 9 pm and I was helped out by Hoss. I had been having a difficult day especially with work. Being helped by Hoss, honestly restored my faith in humanity. He was so kind and helpful and showed so much compassion when I was embarrassed to pay with coins, and spare dollars. Needless to say he changed the trajectory of my night and I'll be going home in a good mood. Will definitely be supporting this local Valero because of kings like Hoss. To the rest of Encinitas take notes. read more

Great service and great spot right off the freeway. Filled up my propane tanks and was on my way

Got gas here and they claimed the bathroom was out of service. After returning to my car another customer walked in and used the bathroom.

Very good service, easy access for all size vehicles. Great price on propane. I got my propane filled as I put diesel in my truck. Staff were great. read more

On September 19, 2021 at 10pm, the guy at the front desk first said they don't do propane refills on my vehicle (roadtrek). It easily accessed at the license plate. I told him I've been filled up here before. He then he said they don't do propane after 7pm due to lighting issues. Ok, won't be back at this location then. The guy kept mumbling, a little strange. Either way I shouldn't have filled up here and won't be back since I wasted my time coming here. The hours say 24/7 and I feel it shouldn't be up to the discretion of workers to decide what they feel like doing. read more

Mind blowing customer service! I got fuel and had my propane tanks refilled. Full service. Employees wouldn't even let me carry them to and from my car. I tried to tip and he refused to take the cash. He just asked that I continue to bring my business back. Such a clean place that has everything, including customer service, which is hard to find now a days. Thanks read more

Quality gasoline at a quality price compared to Shell, Chevron, and Arco. This place is worth a drive even if it's a bit of a drive!

I needed to get propane tanks filled before camping. Both the guys were extremely helpful and efficient. Will be filling our tanks here in the future read more

Went there to get a propane refill and they were incredibly nice and helpful. Love these guys.

This is a badly run overpriced crappy station. I went in to use the bathroom guy says the code is on the bottom of your receipt. tell him I did not have a gas receipt. He says then its not working. I say, so if I buy a can of sofa, I can use the bathroom he says yes... I tell him then it is working and he is a f:&king liar. he called me a loser and I thought, yeah Im the guy working i. a gas station so I told him I would go elsewhere and feature the experience on yelp. If the boss is listening, please clean up your act. A homeless guy or a junkie can buy a soda and use your restroom but a 64 year old guy who is basically decent cannot? It was the lie that made me go elsewhere. read more

Rude from the start. Not giving my money to company that doesn't know how to treat customers.

Buyer beware. Our credit card info was stolen a couple months ago. This was one of two locations we narrowed down as to where it happened, this being the more likely of the two. Yesterday our friends credit card info was stolen and again this was one of two locations that was narrowed down to. Coincidence? Possibly. I won't be buying gas here though. read more

Great ppl Best price on the block! + privately owned and carry fidget spinners! That I plan to start selling to them Wholsale! read more

I never go to this location but they have the best prices and can never go wrong. Easy cc entered at the pump and your done.

The staff is incredibly friendly and never fail to greet me when I walk into the convenience store. They are also very quick about ringing me up and getting me on my way. I don't like that I have to sign a hard copy when I use my credit card. Can I just electronically sign please? read more

The staff here is very friendly, courteous and quick. I have an RBI needed to get an RV fill up on my propane and called a local U-Haul shop and found out that this is the only one in the area. Not cheap, but what is in California? (i'm from here so I can say that) I had a great experience at this Valero read more

Went to this Valero off Encinitas Blvd 11/9 to buy a drink. Used my cc at the counter. On 11/24, a fraudulent charge shows up on my cc bill. So over 15 days later they used my card, which can only mean they are storing your cc info and charging things to it weeks later (it wasn't used at the pump, so the likelihood of a card reader is slim, since the counter card reader is always in front of the camera). Sketchy business if it's the employees doing it. Do not recommend. read more

I have come to get gas here before, and it has been fine, however, this time I came to get gas and air. I went to get air first as the air pump was closest to me at the time. I went inside to ask for the air to be turned on. They said that I needed a receipt. I was confused and thought they meant from the air machine, and I said that I didn't think I did. They then specified that I needed a gas receipt. I told them that I planned to get gas afterward. They insisted I needed a receipt. I completely understand that it could be company policy to get a gas receipt before allowing air pumps to be used although I had yet to encounter that situation. My issue was with how rude they were to me. I would have simply driven my car to get gas before air if they hadn't spoken so loudly and unkindly. I no longer wanted to spend any money to support their business. As a woman and a very young person, I felt unsafe in the way they were speaking and acting. I have never experienced such a terrible feeling from a business. read more

These guys are awesome old school family establishment customer service is great products are great pricing for the gas with in the area is great but most important these people treat their customers like family. Highly recommended not just for gas but for your day-to-day needs well for snacks and goodies hands-down very genuine and great people read more

had to refill one tire with air and i asked the guy if i could use the air and the guy said i can use it if i buy gas then i told him i would buy gas at a different time and he was rude and turn on the air and when i was driving away he chased my car to the red light and punched my car window and yelled like a crazy person . read more

This Valero usually has the lowest gas prices in Encinitas. They keep the pumps working well. The snack shop has lots of stuff and the staff is friendly. What more could you want? read more

My favorite gas station in the area. Gas prices are low and they have a huge selection of snacks and drinks. Their employees are always super friendly and helpful as well. read more

They match Mobil's prices across the street, Today was 355 a gallon for regular. Standard convenience store items available... There was an espresso cart outdoors (I didn't try that). Liked the easy access of Encinitas Blvd exit. read more

I just went in there to buy some headphones because I forgot mine at home. When I asked the worker (her name is KAREN) if they had any she seemed upset I asked. They have them on the counter and out of reach. When she asked which ones I wanted I told her to just give me the cheapest ones and her answer was "well you need to tell me what you want" and I said I'm not sure which you have because it seems the rest are cables right? And she said "I don't know I don't use headphones" ... so I told her if she worked there she should know what they sell...I am not sure what she was so upset about but this type of attitude towards customers is unacceptable and I will not be going back! read more

The lady working was very nice and helpful when I locked myself and my three kids out of the car. I can not thank her enough and wish she would have let me give her something or buy her something. I'm glad there are still good people in this world. read more

Valero is by far the least expensive place for gas, except Costco. It's always open and relatively clean. They have propane too which is a plus read more

I've never had a good experience here. Last time I was there there was no wiper for my windows, but worse was that I saw the manager here yell at a poor mother bc her child "stole" - the little girl picked up a few rocks! that's crazy. No thanks, I'll go across the street for my gas from now on. read more

I used to live up the street from this Valero and I still go out of my way to swing in there for a fill up and to chat with the people who work there. They are all super nice and their car was is not a bad deal at all and they do a great job. Nothing better than getting a burrito next door while waiting for your car to get clean. read more

Gas was cheapest in the area so I stopped for gas, rock stars, and windshield wiper fluid. I asked for a bag for my items and the cashier had a puzzled look on his face. He then states we charge 10 cents for a bag like he made it up just so he didn't have to give me a bag!? Very strange experience. read more
