So was hesitant to pay $25 for their basic wash but not going to lie , Cardiff car wash did a great job and left car spotless inside and out . Def coming back ! I tried this place for the first time due to the good reviews. The staff are nice and it's fast. Cleaning was okay - my rear window still has smudges and they didn't do a good job vacuuming the inside by the driver side, between the front seat and rear seats. I didn't inspect it before driving off and I didn't think that I should have to. That's why I've been going to Superstar Car Wash for the last 7 years, but I thought I'd try this place since it has good reviews. You have to do it yourself if you want it done right. I guess it won't hurt to take it to this place if you're crunch in time. read more

I really enjoyed coming here until my recent visit this morning. When I got home from my wash, I noticed a pretty big scratch on the inside driver's side window (taking a chunk out of my tint). I immediately called and drove straight back so they could take a look and see what they could do to help out. When I arrived, I was completely dismissed and told that there was 100% no chance it could've been them. I was very respectful and let them know this is not something that was there 30 minutes before, and I wouldn't have drove all the way back up for nothing. It's very upsetting being dismissed as a woman, especially when it comes to cars- I was treated like I must've just missed this giant scratch and don't know what I'm talking about. Instead of being treated with common courtesy or respectfully as a loyal customer I was met with absolutely no help, concern, or resolution. I was also about to sign up for their membership lol, but after the lack of customer service I won't be any longer- and I'm now having to get the tint re-done on my window! read more

I followed a yelp review. We went on a disastrous camping trip into the desert. My "new" FJ got designated by sand. Yes, I shouldn't be naive but I thought desert camping was like forests. Well, sand gets EVERYWHERE. I mean EVERYWHERE. I don't want to wash her myself bc of all of the sand and frustration. My cars has a lift and roof rack and saint want an automatic car wash. It wasn't cheap but wasn't crazy expensive. It was the same I'd pay for the next up at an auto wash and much better. Hand done. Wipe everything in and out down. Then it was polished. This was a quick gas stop while en route to baja. This gas station is conveniently located off the 5 freeway, in Encinitas. When I pulled up here, I noticed that the prices were lower than other stations in the vicinity. The station was clean, located in a nice area in northern SD county. The surrounding neighborhood looked like a quiet family-friendly place. The convenience store is well-stocked. They seem to have everything you would want out of a gas station convenience store, even if you're a picky person like myself. The staff here was very friendly. They had a positive, up-beat attitude, and they were attentive to their customers. They kept the place clean and efficiently run. This was a great stop while travelling along the 5 freeway. This review is for the car wash. And the bathroom. It's not the closest car wash to home, but it's one of the better full-service ones around. They've done a good job with my various cars over the years, including trucks that accumulate mud and road grime outside and cute dog hair inside. Sometimes the exterior will have a streak or two remaining, and often times the interior will have dog hair and sand in the crevices. I rely on the detailing guy who comes by when I want perfection. The office / gas station convenience store features one of the cleanest gas station bathrooms you'll find anywhere. There's not fresh roses and an attendant handing out towels, but they keep it nice and there may be a real pot of pouporri in there somewhere. read more

Why is no one talking about what an insanely good liquor store is hiding inside this gas station? There are hundreds of microbrews in 6 packs and 22 oz bombers, most of which are cold! On top of that, prices are excellent! Great wine selection too. I mean seriously. Tons to choose from, and prices seem about 30% lower than what you might pay at a traditional liquor store.
