If you cant navigate the screen/payment machine someone is quick to help. I had (yes, had) 3 vehicles on the wash club and they were Johnny on the Spot every time to expedite the transaction. You even get a discount for multiple vehicles on the monthly wash. They'll tape your wiper and gas door, hand you an air freshener and through you go.. There are plenty of vacuums and they even have air blowers to get that little bit of water from inside the side mirrors and badges. I always find it quite amusing when people blow off their entire car. I watch and laugh. There are always plenty of clean towels at each station for drying and there's also also a place to hold your floormat while you scrub it. The only reason I HAD memberships here and now do not, is because I moved away. At my new location, there's a similar place, but it's not the same. I'll be moving back at the end of the year, and will also be signing right back up at Eco Friendly when I do.

I rarely check in because its listed as San Diego Gas and Carwash instead of what it is...a Shell! I just can never find it when I try to check in so it's a pain in the butt. While I am a fan of this gas station, I'm noticing as it ages, the vacuums are breaking at an alarming rate. They either don't have any suction or stations are missing hoses completely. I often find myself going from station to station to find one that works. The car wash also sometimes smells really bad. I have to wonder if they reuse the water and if it's safe - the smell is unbearable sometimes when you go through. You can't escape it. I noticed they recently placed people at the end of the car wash to dry off the cars better....I LOVE this and willing to tip/pay extra for that extra level of service. While I'm a fan...I really hope they start fixing these things to keep me from going to a location closer to the house. If I'm just getting gas and getting a car wash, I can get that at Bressi but I regularly have to vacuum after a week of activities with the kiddo and 8/10, i'm able to do so here.

One car was done in less than 45 minutes, and the other a similar timeline. I got home and could wipe dirt off with my hand on the SUV, so I find it hard to believe anything but a quick drive through wash was done. Also made an appt via yelp and the people on-site were confused and annoyed. "On-site" is relative as it's a tent at a gas station. I'd recommend going literally anywhere else for services. Edit - per the owners "scam alert" about not sending photos, see attached. They were sent in real time. I had to follow up for days for a supposed resolution, and the only recourse after was attempting to resolve with my credit card company. To clarify, I never said I didn't receive some services.
