I am a monthly subscriber to the soapy Joe's car wash service. I'm an Uber driver so I get at least…read morefour car washes a month. This particular location is by far the worst level of service. The RFID reader doesn't read my sticker more than half the time. Sometimes workers will suggest relocating the sticker. I tell them that this is already the third location. I wonder which magic location they will pick next. But the thing I hate the most about this particular location, the drying service at the end and the vacuum cleaners. I used to think the drying service was OK until I went to other locations. For example, at the Carlsbad location, my car comes out almost completely dry. Here it is droplets of water all over. They really don't seem to care about how strong the vacuums are. And best, the vacuums are decent. At worst, the vacuums are completely worthless. There's no rhyme or reason but it's clear that no one is keeping up on that. Super annoying when you pick a spot to vacuum your car and you find out that the vacuums in question are completely worthless.

That wasn't what I asked. I take care of my car, and its age or value has nothing to do with whether I want brushes touching the paint. I don't care if they occasionally wash Porsches or more expensive cars--the response was unnecessary and disrespectful. I handed the pamphlet back and left. Really poor customer service. Angry dude

Having detailed my own vehicles for over 50 years I am extremely picky about outside washes and detailing. The challenges with the chains are: 1. Their package deals are tied to one vehicles tag number. ( Not at Park Place. I purchased the 10 wash/detail package with my phone number. My son and wife can use my phone number to wash their cars using the 10 washes. If they are nice to me! 2. The chains let me detail at their locations using supplied soft cloths, air, and vacuums. How nice to let me spend time cleaning the spots that are missed, vacuuming and cleaning the windows inside and out! At least 30 extra minutes in the sun. (Not at Park Place. Three workers spent 15 minutes touching up all areas that were missed during the wash and the floors and windows were like NEW! Outstanding JOB! Be sure to tip the workers in the outside employee tip jar. There is seating inside the building or covered lawn furniture outside. I was fully impressed with all aspects of the business. Eduardo sold me my package after a great explanation. Ally was great at checkout. Their prices on similar services cannot be beat and their attention to detail and your satisfaction is a priority. The price was great and definitely made me try it out since there are many others much closer to my house. The location is on Palomar Airport road, and easy to get to with the turn in at the light. There is also a gas station there along with the car wash in case you need gas or items from their store. The wash was good, the car came out very clean, no visible scratches or anything like that. The vacuum cleaners were ok, but the pressure was not that good. The location is nice, well kept. The value is fantastic as I could go back as much as I want to but I have not had the chance yet and only a little over a week before it expires. The service is very good, friendly staff, attentive, take time to answer questions and help you when needed. The location is ok, on the corner of Melrose right off the 78, in a strip mall with several businesses, mostly eating establishments. The wash itself is ok, it just doesn't get off all bug goo, and sap, and stuff like that. It looks good, but not as good as if someone hand washes or hand dries it off for you. The price is comparative to a place where they dry and vacuum it for you, so I don't see the draw where you have to do your own labor and they charge you for it. Most of the vacuums work well, but there are a few with no suction at all. The spaces are cramped, but as long as the person next to you does not have their door all the way open and exactly across from yours, you should be fine. There were too many people, so people coming out of the wash had to leave, they could not find a spot to vacuum and try their cars off. If you need a quick wash, and don't mind doing the work on your car then this is the place for you. If you need full service, then you have to go somewhere else.
