Mach 1 Auto Detail - Auto Detailing Near Me - Carlsbad, California

Update: Daniel, the other owner, responded to my review and ultimately issued a full refund for the tint job. My original experience with Fernando and the handling of the obvious flaws was very disappointing, but Daniel's willingness to step in and resolve the issue showed integrity. While my experience with the tint work itself remains unchanged, I appreciate that the business ultimately made things right. read more

Went in for a hand wash for my Mercedes and will most certainly be back for a detail and window tinting. Fernando and team are incredible and provided quick, quality customer service that is greatly appreciated. Got out of there so fast, I even forgot to tip! They have the most adorable dog/mascot wandering the waiting room, too. 10/10, worth checking out! read more

BAD! BAD!! I called in and made an appointment for a window tinting the next day, Fernando was the one who I talked to. The next morning comes, drove 30 mins only to find out that his guy that does the tinting is not there. He could've called me and let me know ahead so I don't have to waste my time gas/mileage of my car... on top of that! I had an accident(minor) on the way there, I mean I'm not saying it's his fault but if he would've texted/called that his guy is not gonna be there, I would've not driven there and that little accident would've not happened!! I paid it from a Groupon, if he didn't want the Groupon then don't advertised it there! Simple! Fernando is polite however, he said that he'd call me the next day to do the tinting and cancel my Groupon that I paid and he will only ask $50.00, I agreed, cancelled my Groupon but no Fernando to follow up! No call! No nothing! I do not care about it since I paid it already, I just want my windows tint! That's it! read more

Mach1 is the only place I will get my car detailed, my husbands, and my mom and my dads cars detailed. They do a fantastic job, also great with window tint. They tinted both my parents cars for a fantastic price and quick with their services. They take care of you and that is what sets them apart from being just a car wash- they CARE. They will put in their 110% effort and you cant find that now a days. read more

I found this amazing business initially through using a Groupon for a car wash. Holy moly. The car looked like it had been detailed- not just washed. I hadn't seen it look that good in years. The wonderful experience had me come back for a dent removal service. Again, they over delivered, especially for the price-very reasonable for the time and attention they invested. Dent gone...AND they waxed the car. Crazy good service, super nice staff. You won't be disappointed. read more

Wondered if I needed to make a reservation for a car wash, but couldn't find a way to do it. So we went by, and we're told at first, no, you have to make an appointment and we don't have any openings for 4 days. They then acquiesced and said, ok, we can take you now, but it will be at least 45 minutes. We agreed, and sat in their so-called waiting room, listening to employees curse the whole time. After 20 minutes the car was ready. This place is not very professional, and I don't understand all the drama over making an appointment for a basic car wash. read more

- Outstanding Full Truck Detail Experience! Fernando and his team did an absolutely amazing job detailing my entire Toyota 4Runner. We got the Grand Prix package for the type of detailing and the quality was absolutely superior. He left no part untouched front, back, inside, outside, top, bottom and even the engine bay. I own two dogs that shed a lot and the back of the 4Runner was covered in hair but when Fernando was done it was completely spotless with not a single hair left. The truck looked better than brand new. He was incredibly polite very informative about the process and super professional throughout. Best of all the response time and turnaround were incredibly fast and all done in less than a day. I couldn't be happier with the results. We will most definitely be coming back! Highly recommend! - Ja read more

After seeing how great my boyfriend's window tint was from Mach 1, I decided to get my car done too. Tsune, who did my tint, removed all the old faded tint, and replaced with fresh 5% on the back seven windows and 15% on front two windows. It looks so clean and done to perfection. And extra appreciation to Tsune for taking extra time on my back window not to peel up the defrost lines. Mach 1 does not disappoint and exceeds expectations. I'm really happy with my results. Thank you, Tsune and Mach 1. read more

Mach 1 Auto Detail - Absolute perfection on the window tint - Auto Detailing Near Me - Carlsbad, California

This place is a joke ...do not go here if you want a good auto detail and don't want to get gouged on price. Went in for a full detail on our Yukon XL (interior, exterior, engine). I had some minor scratches on the passenger door that I also wanted them to wet sand and buff out. The scratches were not deep and the wet sanding process would have removed them. The detail in itself was just OK. I don't think they even touched the engine ...if they did, it wasn't cleaned very thoroughly and you could wipe your finger on the plastic shrouds and get dirt on your finger. When I picked up the Yukon, I noticed that rather than do the wet sand/buffing of the scratches, they decided to take touch paint and paint it on in fairly long sweeps. I couldn't see that well when I picked it up. When I got it home, I realized they did quite the number on the touch-ups and it was very obvious that whoever did this who absolutely no idea what they were doing. Then I got overcharged when I paid and didn't realize it until I got home. Tried to get the owners to help out with the issue and they ghosted me. I've used this placed several times and the details were always decent but this last time the experience was just bad. I ended up having to hire another detailer who knew what they were doing to remove the paint touch-ups that Mach 1 added and wet sand/buff the scratches out and that guy did a really nice job. Cost me another $400 to fix the mess Mach 1 left me. Absolutely stay away from this place. Fernando ...it's invoice no. 10466 from Nov. 11, 2024. Look it up. You definitely worked on my Yukon. If you can't find it in your system, then that's a testament to the lack of good business operations at your place. read more

Edgar and Fernando have been detailing my BMW for as long as I can remember (I wanna say 8+ years). Wherever they go my Beemerz and I will follow! And that says ALOT as I treat my cars as if they are my babies... I have OCD so the inside has to be spotless and dust free. The outside has to be gleaming! The tires shining with no water spots or streaks on the body...Edgar and Fernando ensure that my cars are always in that excellent condition when I drive off! Thanks guys for always taking care of me :) read more

I brought my car for a wash and to remove water spots on the left side. He did a great job on the water spots on the left side. The wash was good from what I could see. When I got home, I looked at the roof, and it was full of those little things from trees. The roof did not even appear clean or washed. It is a small SUV, but it was $88 for the job. I contacted them and sent them photos, but they totally ignored me. She said she would contact me. No reply at all. This was my first visit. What a BAD first impression. That is NOT how you get repeat business. Edit: one of the owners contacted me and gave me a free wash. It was done very well this time and I increased the 1 star to 4. Thank you Edgar. read more

Fernando did an incredible job on our bumper clips, super fast, fair pricing. Can't find better service than this.

Car looked amazing when picked up. Everything about it was really nice and loved that the owner walked through everything with me before and after. Great explanation for everything they worked on. I have very satisfied with how the car came out and how much attention to detail was put to it. Wouldn't want to go to any other spot. read more

I've gotten 3 cars tinted by Mach 1 over the years and had 5 star experiences each time. One of them was a retint from bubbling tint done somewhere else. They always got it done fast and did a fabulous job. Great location, not too busy of a parking lot, you just pop in and out. Edgar helped me this most recent time - he was very professional and did a beautiful job on my truck. Thank you so much I will continue recommending Mach 1 to my friends and family. It's not the cheapest deal around - but you get what you pay for and there's a lifetime guarantee. Worth it for me! read more

I called Mach 1 about ceramic coating my vehicle. I was given a quote, and then Edgar worked around my schedule to get my full-size truck done along with a complete detail. He also took the time to explain what ceramic coating is and how to best protect my investment. He also has a highly effective demonstration on window coatings that will have me going back to get my windows coated to protect the interior and reduce the heat that comes through the windows in the summer. I have used Mach 1 auto details 5-6 times now over the last year and a half, and they always do a great job on my Jeep and Audi. They've detailed one of my vehicles 2x and do regular washes every so often. Would recommend them to anyone. Prices are fair, they work fast, and equipment is not very loud. They don't try to upsell you either. Fernando has recommended a lower cost service than I initially suggested and the result has always been excellent. Highly recommend and will keep on using them. read more

Very friendly and customer focused. Always do a very thorough job, highly recommended !

When my husband was in hospice, our car was parked outside for 7 days in an area where it got completely covered with bird droppings. That got baked on plus dirt from the Santa Ana winds. I was so relieved that Mach 1 was able to recover the car with their special care! They recommended doing a sealer and when the car was brought to me, I was astounded. It looked like it came off a showroom. I am so grateful for their kindness and expertise. They are amazing! read more
