Not only did we have a great experience with the quote process, the team was flexible the day-of when we added additional work. The instillation and after-care information was conveyed well, the work has held up nicely, but more than that, the proof of value is in the savings. We have yet to run our AC system all summer. 12/10, would recommend. Electric bill comparisons: June 2024: $206.49; June 2025: $102.79 July 2024: $473.56; July 2025: $116.82 Aug 2024: $528.40; Aug 2025: $130 (est.) (we hoped for 40% savings, but will actually save 75% this month!)

The installation team was very professional, clean, and did an amazing job. They were also friendly and easy to work with. They took care of my house, and when they left everything was like it started except with beautifully tinted windows. I had several challenging things and even had to do some inside and outside films. They did such a great job on the first 20 windows I reached back out to Carlos and got a quote on another 10 windows which they just completed today a little less than a week from the request. This installation was just as professional and easy to deal with. Solar Care is a first-class operation with reasonable prices. I would highly recommend them.

Five star plus for Carlos and his team. Lightning fast response time to my inquiry to schedule an estimate appointment to remove 28-year old window tint film on my Townhouse. The next week after getting a second estimate from another company that came in much higher, I notified Solar Care they had the job. The NEXT DAY their technician Dennis arrived about 7:30 and completed removing the old film by midafternoon. Impressive. I'd kept the original film lifetime warranty paperwork from the installation back in 1996 done by a company no longer in business. Carlos pointed me to the tint film manufactures department I needed to contact to file a claim. I was pleasantly surprised they stood behind their product. Thank you Carlos! I highly recommend Solar Care.

Excellent job! Tint turned out great on my 2001 Honda CR-V, they really took their time installing properly so it looked nice. They arrived on time, estimated 2-3 hours but it ended up taking 5 which was totally fine with me the reason was because my rear windshield has shocks and other equipment attached that they needed to remove in order to properly apply the tint UNDER the equipment (rather than just trimming the tint around the mounts etc.) Overall great job from Jose and his helper, it is a good quality tint for a very fair price and they come to you so you can still work from home and not sit in a shop for hours! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to get their windows tinted. read more

Had 2 front windows re-tinted as the previous tint (from a different business) was over 10 years old and started wrinkling and it was hard to see out of. Solar Care quote was a little higher than everyone else but after they were finished I can see why because they were very professional, knew what they were doing, and the quality of the tint is great. They also bumped me up a few days in the schedule when I needed it done by a certain day for a DMV driving test. Would definitely recommend. read more

Just updating and praising! Carlos at Solar Care Window Tinting is the best! He does amazing work! Over the past 20 years, he has worked on 4 different vehicles that I have loved and driven. My 2003 MR2 Spyder had the windows and hardtop tinted. My 2007 350Z received a protective clear shield on the front and headlights. My 2013 Lexus received a protective clear shield on the front and headlights. My 2013 Acura Sportwagon received a protective clear shield on the front and headlights. He demonstrates great attention to detail with the clear shield, the edges are almost invisible and follow the lines of the car. It showcases the experience and skill of a true professional. My neighbor has used Solar Care for his cars. He selected them as the Audi and BMW dealers he has used choose Solar Care. The neighbor got a new truck and we saw the Solar Care guys working and asked if they could fit us in. They came and did our 3 cars that same day. Great guys that worked well together and really knew what they were doing. They had all the gear and set up a tent over the cars and had a potable generator to run their tools and heat gun. They have a large banner that specifies auto tint, but just wanted to ensure I specify their location as some may miss them. This review is a bit overdue as I've had multiple vehicles for window tinting at this location. My father found this location, and the owner (male) has been very quick and efficient, and always does a great job. Since then, my family and I always take our vehicles to this store when we need our windows tinted. I recently purchased a new vehicle and needed my windows tinted, so took my new vehicle to him. I'm usually pretty hesitant that my vehicle will get damaged as it had been at another vendor years ago... but I trust the owner and the other gentleman who also works here. They inspect for any damages prior to start and are careful with your vehicle (both inside and out). He also tells you his honest opinion rather than for money making desires. His ceramic tints are excellent! Trust me, they may cost more, but they are definitely worth it. I've had different tints, and ceramic ones are the best! Also, the other places use too much adhesive and it stains my windows, but this place doesn't do that. Prices are also fair! He is always willing to work with you for a reasonable price. Great work always, and very quick yet work is always excellent! Some times in the summer, scheduling an appointment would be best, but other times you can walk in and request for same day service and if possible, they get it done. Will definitely return here again even if I have to drive a few hours! I highly recommend!

Updated Review Per…read morethe shop's recommendation, I took my vehicle to Tesla for a full inspection of the windshield. After evaluating it, Tesla confirmed that the lines in the glass were caused by external forces -- most likely excessive heat -- and not by any manufacturing defect. They were very clear that there is no scenario where the vehicle would have left the factory with this type of damage. Because of that, the replacement was not covered under warranty, and I had to pay $1,535 out of pocket. Here's what this experience has cost me: * $300 for the original tint * $150 for tint removal -- which I was never informed would be charged, and they only told me I "owed money" after removing it * $1,535 for a new windshield due to damage caused during their tint installation That's almost $2,000 lost, and I'm left with no tint, a brand‑new windshield I had to pay for myself, and zero accountability from the shop. To make matters worse, the owner laughed at my wife during the conversation. That alone tells you everything about the level of professionalism you can expect. If you choose to get your tint done here, understand this clearly: If something goes wrong, you will get no support, no responsibility, and possibly even disrespect. What you may get is a bill for the damage they caused.

A friend of mine recommended me to a mobile window tint company the other day for my vehicle. They did great and to my surprise they also do homes and business's. I have horrible heat to my home office and If I don't have my air conditioning on (costing me money) I just get cooked in there. They gave me some samples of different film options for heat rejection, which my husband loved, because he was at work while they gave me the (free) estimate. Also gave us a sample of turf protect film! These guys just have lots of knowledge on their window film options that we didn't even know existed. Anyways after we made a decision, they gave me a great price and took care of us that week! The owner was just a gem! New to the area, so I turned to the great yelp reviewers! Called Solar Care and left my info. Received a quick callback, quote, and set up for a late afternoon appointment the same day. The price was a bit more expensive, however, this is a mobile service so it was nice not to have to deal with dropping off & picking up the car. The guys were polite, professional, cleaned up after themselves, and did a great job. I'm looking forward to being cooler during the hot weather, (my passengers in the backseat will really be thankful) and not having to stress over my leather interior if I have to park in the sun..... and of course, the car just looks better now. read more

On the morning of Dec 10, I witnessed a Solar Care Window Tinting vehicle (license plate 09926U2) driving extremely recklessly. The driver intentionally sped up to block another car that was already halfway merged, nearly causing an accident. I was driving right behind them, and it was clearly deliberate. This kind of behavior makes me question the company's professionalism and judgment.
