These guys are the best. I drive 30+ minutes because I know they'll clean my car beautifully and for a great price. Thank you guys for your hard work read more

I was disappointed with the quality of the detail on my vehicle. The exterior looked rushed, and when I got home I noticed a significant amount of what appeared to be leftover wax residue that I had to buff out myself. I also had to go back over the wheels and other areas that were either missed or not cleaned thoroughly. For the price paid, I expected much better attention to detail. A professional detailing service shouldn't require the customer to finish the job at home. It seems like too many vehicles are being scheduled without allowing enough time to complete each one properly. I would recommend adjusting appointment times or pricing so each vehicle receives the level of care customers are paying for. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend this business. read more

The move. Nuff said. Secret spot to take your car. They take their time. Great work and friendly, hard-working staff. If you want to beat the crowds and get your money's worth, this is the place to go. I won't go anywhere else. read more

LPD Detail Center - The crew at work. You won't leave disappointed. - Car Wash Near Me - Encinitas, California

Very professional and friendly workers. Great job!! Will recommend to others and continue to get both my car and my truck detailed.

Absolutely blown away by the service at LPD Detail Center! Cesar, Luis, and Junior detailed both my car and my friend's car, and we honestly didn't think they could look this good again. Both Teslas were completely covered in dog hair, and they somehow got them looking brand new inside and out. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and work ethic are next level. Every surface was spotless, and they truly went above and beyond. You can tell they really care about their work and their customers. I'll definitely be recommending them to everyone and leaving this same 5-star praise on Yelp and Google. If you want your car looking showroom fresh, these are the guys to call. Best detail job we've ever had! read more

These guys are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Worth every penny each time I get my car cleaned here, it looks like new!

Junior, Caesar and all workers are super friendly and hardworking. Have been cleaning and detailing our family cars for years. Thank you so much! Highly recommend them read more

I can't recommend this place enough. They always do amazing work and their attention to detail is second to none. I've had my car hand washed at multiple other places locally and none even come close to the job that LPD does. I really appreciate the fact that they take the time to get every nook and cranny of my wheels clean, so that I don't have to go home and touch them up myself afterwards, like I had to do before with other places. read more

I went and got my vehicle washed here today and they completely ruined my vehicle. I have a wrapped car and they did not properly wash it and scratched the entire wrap. The hood and back of the vehicle. Prior to washing it I told them to be careful of the wrap and they scrubbed the bird poop into the wrap and ruined it and without washing the gloves also put a 20 inch scratch on the side. When it was done I asked the guy and he acted like it was there. Obviously it was not. I would notice the entire hood being ruined. Pretty bummed as it was a $7500 wrap On the vehicle. read more

I am impressed with the attention paid to my car. I have a full body PPF and was pleased with the care taken to protect it. JR listened to my concerns and guided his team to do a great job cleaning my car for a reasonable price. I liked the full rim cleaning option. I recommend this company. read more

I called over 8 auto detail businesses in the San Diego area. I received quotes of $150-$600 while asking the same questions and requesting the same services. (The more expensive ones only differed in that those who picked up the phone had a native American English accent instead of speaking in a thick Spanish-laden English accent.) LPD Auto Detail provided one of the most reasonable costs. Latino family owns it. == CLEANING SERVICE ITSELF == I REALLY wanted to like LPD. I got a really great vibe from them, they seemed sincere and felt like a family-owned business with many folks just there to work and enjoy being around each other and provide a local business to the community, but their cleaning services were not detail-oriented and made me question if they did anything more than a cursory vacuum. I reviewed with them in detail before arriving to the appointment about what I wanted cleaned and covered in the price we agreed upon. Some aspects of it were not cleaned adequately. I needed a car bought from auction cleaned (just the interior). I pointed out oily hand prints above the driver's seat and above the door (interior). They missed these; when I pointed them out, they did address them, but the handprints remained. I pointed out that I'd like the rear seats to be vacuumed and steam cleaned very well to remove the pet hairs that remained from the previous car owner, but there were still some noticeable pet hairs. They also did not clean the crust above the automatic shifter (as in, they did not press the brake and shift from P to the bottom transmission gear in order to clean the shifter area above the P that is usually hidden under shifter box). == INTEGRITY == The bulk of the stars for this review goes to integrity. The first time I called, one of the family members picked up and gave me one quote, and the second time I called to second, I was informed of a very slightly higher quote. They honored what the first family member told me. read more

I got the complete detail and I am blown away at how clean my car is! I had stains on my seats and hadn't had it properly cleaned in over a year. Looks brand new, worth the money! Couldn't be happier! Thank you! read more

Very thorough and 0 machines, just a pressure washer. This was the first time in over a year I've had my Tesla washed by someone else and was struggling to find a car wash that was convenient and seemed like it would take its time and do things carefully. Most places are like mechanized car wash factories -- the goal is to blow through thousands of cars as quickly possible. LPD was quick, but not too quick :) Like an idiot I got the car washed the same day a storm came into town, so I only got to enjoy the clean for a few hours before the rain hit, but after the storm cleared I went back and they gave me a quick complimentary external cleaning which I really appreciate. Being an obsessive Tesla owner I also appreciated the fact they were familiar with the car -- the Carlsbad supercharger is just up the street so they're seen a few! Another Model 3 pulled in as mine was finishing up! read more

Excellent hand wash, great alternative to washing yourself when you just don't feel like getting out all your own equipment. Fast.

Definitely worth the drive from Oceanside, CA. I was looking for a hand wash car service because with my luck with machines, they've scratched my SUV. Great customer service via phone and in person. My SUV is clean to my expectations. Hoping they open soon now that Covid Restrictions have been lifted! read more

Brought my BMW in for a wash at 4:30 on a Sunday afternoon. I was going to do just a basic hand wash car after seeing what they did with some other cars I decided to have them do a quick wax job. I asked the gentleman if it was too late in the day to do it and he said absolutely not. Ended up having a few more things done. Excellent work, excellent attention to details, and an excellent value for my money. I travel to the Carlsbad area frequently and these guys are going to be my "go to" retailers without hesitation. Next time I'll come earlier in the day and have them do a complete detail. read more

These guys just do a sensational job of cleaning both my car and my SUV when I bring it in. At least spotless and the attention to detail is amazing. And I'm a difficult customer when it comes to car washes.
