Eventually, he told me to come get the bike, which was still not running. I had no way to store or move it at the time, since the whole point was to have it repaired and made road-ready. Without warning or notice, Elliot got rid of my motorcycle. I only found out in September 2023, after calling from another phone number because he had blocked mine. I still hold the legal title and was never told the bike would be scrapped or removed. I tried repeatedly to contact him. When I finally got through, he mocked the bike's value and hung up. I've since issued a formal demand letter, and I'm pursuing legal action in Arizona small claims court. If you've had a similar experience with this shop, I'd be interested in hearing from you. I called and talked with Scott and he told me to bring the truck on in so they could look underneath it. I came in a Scott was not there but Marco did a great job helping me out. He got me in the next day and they completely fixed the problems with my previous lift and explained in detail what had happened with the lift the previous shop incorrectly put on. I did have to wait 5 or 6 hours but they did the job correctly and well. I was back on the road that day. Wow! I used to live in Phoenix and used Donnie at the pit for my work. I was in Phoenix for 1 week…read morefor 3 rides, after the 1st ride my rear wheel bearings decided to give out. I called Donnie forgetting it was Monday so I left a message on his voicemail. To my surprise he called back in about 5 minutes! Told me to bring it in Tuesday morning and he should be able to get me going. Showed up about 9:15 Tuesday and he took it right in the shop, up on a stand and started tearing it apart right away! Had the bad bearings out in a jiffy and made sure there was no hub damage and that he had the right bearings for my bike...which he did. I went and grabbed a quick bite and he had it ready to go by the time I got back. No up charge for the emergency visit just a very reasonable repair cost. I can't say enough about how he treated me, I really appreciated him getting me in so I didn't miss my 2nd ride. Highly recommend for any and all of your repairs.

Interesting to see upon reading reviews from YEARS ago that multiple other people experienced the SAME exact scenario we did. Dropped our bike off before Thanksgiving to get work done. Paid the $2000 up front for parts after waiting almost 2 months just to get a quote. The holidays went by and we still didn't hear anything...reached out and "oh we would have ordered the parts but they're busy at bike week!" Lame excuse but alright... wait another few weeks... any progress now? No--you call, they have no answers other than oops we still haven't done it sorry! You ask for the owner and he's too busy to talk on the phone and too busy to talk in person. They told us the parts our bike needed were going to need sourced from out of state. In the 5 months they had our bike they didn't order a single part for it. No more than 10 minutes after we picked up the bike we were able to locate and order pistons from kansas for $400, whereas the ones they were "ordering" were $850 from Rhode Island. When we came to pick our bike up they gave us a sob story about how they can't give us any of our money back because they're "about to close our doors" due to lack of $, we had to use it as "store credit"--so maybe don't entrust them with your business since they plan to close up shop anyhow. Dropped our bike off running in 1 piece, picked it up In 6 boxes. At least we will be saving tons of money on labor now. Biggest waste of time & headache

But I truly have to stop. I always find my way back to Independant. Bob, Mike, (and to be honest) every person that's ever worked here have always been like brothers and sisters. They truly take care of their customers like they have known them for years. I like to do a lot of my own stuff but when there's something I'm not comfortable with because maybe I've never tried it, I know I can depend on these folks to give me the absolute BEST price, and the absolute BEST work with no bullshit! If you ride, and you're in the east valley, this is the place to come. If you ride and you're in the west valley, it's worth the ride or drive (if you have to trailer your bike) and this is still the place to come.
