Poutine was decent - not the best I've had in town but not the worst. Since the pasta dish didn't normally come with fries I asked if they could just do a side of poutine and they said yes (and then charged $14 for it). It wasn't worth it. The blackening rub they use had almost no spice, which to me defeats part of the point of "blackened" chicken - the taste was more on the herby side. The noodles themselves were bland and the sauce was almost non-existent - sadly underseasoned. I chopped the chicken up into tiny bits and mixed it all together so that they flavors from the chicken could add at least some excitement to the pasta, but while it helped it didn't quite save the dish. Overall the experience was fairly mediocre. Maybe I should have gotten a burger, but I went with the host's recommendation instead for a dish I normally quite enjoy and came away disappointed.
