Ordered chicken salad wrap. Instead of using grilled chicken, they used packaged chicken breast chunks. Ordered lemongrass chicken platter. Instead of properly grilled lemongrass chicken meat, they served a large chicken leg with bone. Fish sauce has no flavour. Will not visit again!

I ordered the salad rolls with pork and shrimp...structurally very substantial in size and full of stuff. One could just order a few of these and have a nice filling meal. That said, the peanut sauce wasn't particularly creamy or pea-nutty. The pho is served in a moderately size bowl, but they didn't offer a lot of sprouts or basil. The salad roll had basil as a garnish and I put them into the pho. Also, there wasn't a lot of depth of flavor in the soup base itself...it wasn't watery just bland. Lastly I order the crepe sweet potato and shrimp. To describe this as a "crepe" has never had a crepe (made in the French tradition). It's not at all pancake like and more like a hash brown with shrimp. It was good and crispy but not at all what I expect. The restaurant has amazing ambience, kudos to the decor...with a wall length mural of a peacock and hanging paper lanterns...the restaurant looks exotic. Lastly, service was also just ok, not special or fast. Also, I got my entire order all at once, which I hate especially since I like having Pho hot. When one gets everything at once stuff gets cold! The cooks have no sense of timing (seemingly) and are more concerned about getting the order out. Overall, it's a beautiful restaurant full of charm with ok food and care for the customer. If you're not as exacting as I am about Pho and dining out in general...you may like it...the food is certainly filling.

The pad Thai uses very thin noodles and is extremely thick. It tastes very much peanut like and homogeneous in flavor without a ton of balance. Their spice levels run from 1-10, but even a 5 is spicy for most people. If you REALLY like spice then opt for a 6 and add spice from the side. Parking is free and on the side street.

Let me tell you... This is one of the most INEDIBLE ive had in my lifetime. I chose this place because of the recent good review that someone had put in there. We ordered food close to $130 worth and all most of their food tasted like soy sauce. At least they did not mess up the fresh veg rolls with shrimp and Panang is 6/10. The rest is just not worth to make your tummy spend the day having bad stomach ache which we all did. And please do check the bathroom its really unsanitary. They are very nice people eventhough they didnt care what we had to say when we have told them about the food and it tasted too salty and not good. We barely touched it and we just payed the bill and left. All i can say if you have good experiences with real authentic and savoury Thai food this is not the place to go. 2/10

Staff was very friendly and helpful, and the place was rather lively even on a Friday afternoon…read more In terms of the food we shared an order of poutine and their blackened chicken fettuccine. Poutine was decent - not the best I've had in town but not the worst. The portion was very small, and I was surprised to see it priced almost as much as an entree on the bill - they don't have it on the menu a la carte but you can upgrade a side of fries to poutine for $4. Since the pasta dish didn't normally come with fries I asked if they could just do a side of poutine and they said yes (and then charged $14 for it). It wasn't worth it. The blackened chicken fettuccine was disappointing. Our host highly recommended it, and it's a dish I generally enjoy enough I even make it at home. The blackening rub they use had almost no spice, which to me defeats part of the point of "blackened" chicken - the taste was more on the herby side. The noodles themselves were bland and the sauce was almost non-existent - sadly underseasoned. I chopped the chicken up into tiny bits and mixed it all together so that they flavors from the chicken could add at least some excitement to the pasta, but while it helped it didn't quite save the dish. Overall the experience was fairly mediocre. Maybe I should have gotten a burger, but I went with the host's recommendation instead for a dish I normally quite enjoy and came away disappointed. The price of the side of poutine is on me - I didn't ask ahead of time. But it came out to be nearly double what I'd expected for half as much as I'd thought it would be.
