My wife had her wedding dress altered here for our wedding and then dry cleaned afterwards. Yang was professional and courteous throughout the entire process. The alteration process was a bit long, requiring multiple visits, but Yang was receptive to any changes that we wanted. I appreciate that after any work is done, he allowed us to check his work and if there was anything we weren't happy with he was opening to making the changes. Overall, I feel like his prices are reasonable for the work he does. My only strong word of advice is to make sure to call ahead before coming into the store to make sure that whatever work is done because usually he's behind schedule.

Simply AWFUL experience. My wedding dress was RUINED here. I brought it in with a few small fresh…read morestains and got it back with the original stains still there, plus new large oily stains from their "cleaning attempts." On top of that, there were obvious new stitches added that hadn't been there before, and they didn't even remotely match the fabric or color of the knit. I also brought in a trench coat, which came back with all the same stains untouched -- honestly, for the best considering what happened to the dress. When I returned to show them the damage, there was no apology, no accountability, and no attempt to offer compensation. I had to request a refund myself. The employee handed it to me and simply walked away without even acknowledging the inconvenience. This place used to be excellent before the ownership change. Now it's an absolute mess. Please do not trust them with valuable clothing, especially anything sentimental like a wedding dress.

I brought 6 items in here to be altered--3 dresses, 2 skirts, and 1 blouse. The woman who works…read morehere is friendly and really knows her stuff. She'll also warn you in advance if an alteration will be especially pricey. I do some sewing and alterations myself, so I know how much work and time goes into taking apart a garment, adjusting it, and putting it back together. I was in no hurry for my items--I had procrastinated on getting some of them properly fitted for years, so I didn't mind waiting for another month. She actually said it would only take 3 weeks, but I told her I didn't mind waiting longer. They will give you a date for when your items will be finished, but they can't give a cost estimate in advance, because sometimes it's hard to tell how complex an alteration will be until you start taking a garment apart. They only take cash or a personal check, so if you plan to pay in cash, just call a day ahead of the date when your items will be ready so you'll know how much to bring. I found the prices reasonable, but I'm also someone who doesn't mind paying extra for quality work. I was very pleased with how my items turned out, and look forward to getting many years of wear from them.

They quoted me $25, which is crazy but I thought maybe it was more due to the stains. When I picked it up, they just handed it to me not mentioning the stains. I lifted the plastic and saw that the stains were still there! The woman (who was brusque and rude for no reason when I dropped off the garment) kept repeating that they got ONE of the stains out, did not apologize, empathize, or explain why a couple stains remained. I thought at least they'd not charge me or discount the rate, but she just dug in her heels and got ruder, turning away from me even though I was calm and professional. I told her I wouldn't be coming back and she said "that's okay." I'm not used to this, as I get along with everyone, but between the rude staff member, the shoddy job, and the unprofessional handling of the issue, I'm kind of P.O.ed. Please don't go here!

I brought them in on a Friday on my way to work and not only did they have a zipper there to put in, but incredibly were able to complete the job by the next day!! I recently went back with my senior citizen dad to have two suits taken in as he has lost some weight over the last few years. We were worried that it would cost more to alter than to replace the suits but we got a very reasonable price and again, amazingly, were able to pick the suits up the next day. The two women who waited on us (I think one is the owner) were very pleasant, professional, and skilled. They didn't hesitate to tell me that the pants of one suit really didn't need to be taken in. They were very courteous to and patient with my dad. I can't recommend this shop highly enough. This place is a find.
