Had brunch here recently. The food was amazing, obviously all home cooked. I had the country skillet with sausage, gravy, onions, cheese, eggs, hashbrowns, all in a bowl. Delicious! This is one of my favorite brunch places. And this time I was delighted to see that they had chilaquiles in their specials. And there you go, we ordered both the green and the red ones. They were delicious, crunchy, spicy hot, the sour cream and avocado added more flavor. Our server was very helpful and food was prepared with no issues. Certainly this is one of the reasons we come here, great service. And certainly the place is normally quiet, clean, and warm. We love it. My daughters and I tried this for the first time today. They were very welcoming from the second we walked in. We were seated promptly and had an awesome waitress. Their menu options are broad, but not overwhelming. It's well organized. A little something for everyone. We ordered short stack, iced coffees, and Mexican style breakfast tacos. We have dined here for breakfast 3 times since we moved to Fort Wayne, and we've been happy with the food and service every time. My husband enjoys their omelets. I am very fond of their version of eggs Benedict. Country Benedict has spinach and bacon bits sprinkled on top. They feature Indiana sugar pie for dessert, too. My only downside to dining there is that their restrooms are too small. They need larger restrooms that accommodate more people for a restaurant this size. I had to wait 20 minutes to use the ladies restroom, which was annoying. We will have breakfast there every time we are on that end of town in Fort Wayne. It's a nice place. read more

This is our go to breakfast spot when we are in the area. The service is quick and friendly. Our food was good, and it's a diner, expect chill local diner vibes. My husband usually gets the all meat skillet and this time I went with the country benny, with hashbrowns. I enjoyed it. We had another couple join us this visit and the husband ordered the meat skillet and the wife ordered the chicken and waffles and she really enjoyed the waffle. I enjoy the food and the serving sizes here because they aren't humongous, to me they are just right portions. The menu isn't overly complicated and it just so happens every time we come in there isn't a long wait to be seated. So, that's always a plus. Check them out. read more

Best diner on the north side of Fort Wayne. New ownership with a couple of menu changes but food is still outstanding and the food quality is great. They have specials every day which my wife usually takes advantage of. I'm an omelette person and there is a wide variety-all good. That I traded down to a fruit plate with a side of bacon. I eat here often for Breakfast. They have a couple different breakfast special each morning. Staff is friendly and quick to serve you. Owner does a great job acknowledging people as they come in. The food is still okay, but the excellent crew of servers is GONE, and their replacements are extremely poorly trained. There visits noe, we have had o ask for no trainer things like silverware, crackers with soups or salads, and side dishes. Make sure you stop here for food. Support this cafe at this location. We stopped here on our way through town and couldn't have been more pleased. The wait time was less than 10 minutes, the service was OUTSTANDING (ask for AALIYAH as your waitress), and the food was plentiful. The restaurant staff was friendly, engaged and just not intrusive. There were all age groups there, kids through older adults and I witnessed everyone getting the attention they needed. Kudos to the owner and manger for hiring such awesome people as staff.
