Security keeps the doors locked, which I appreciated -- it definitely added to the feeling of safety. There's a good variety of snack machines, including one for mobile accessories, which is super convenient if you're traveling and forgot a charger or headphones. Bonus points for the cute blow-up bear for Valentine's Day -- a small touch, but it made the space feel welcoming. Overall, a solid and comfortable station experience.

Should have listened to the other reviews. I was legitimately thinking "it can't be /that/ bad of…read moreservice". Boy was I wrong. We had a 6:25 bus for a college aged family member to get back to NAU from down south. Checked the status before we left south Sierra Vista "On Time". Show up 6:00AM. 6:15... no bus. 6:20... no bus. Check the app: "On-Time". But this time we check the bus's location... "it's in El Paso?". No... that can't be right. The bus can't possibly be over 4 hours away. It says "on time" and we haven't gotten any delay notification. Call 1800 number. Get told it's on time. Call BS as it's already 10 minutes past pickup. Try again. Oh it's behind, you'll need to wait. How long? "We don't know." Then I got on the phone "Where is the bus?" "Oh my system just updated... it's 364 minutes behind schedule" my fellow yelpers: that's 6+ hours late... but multiple systems say it's "on time". They knew this bus was already 4 hours late before we left our house at 5AM. They chose not to tell us. Why? I'm guessing it's their refund policy. They won't refund unless a bus is more than 2 hours behind. If *you* reschedule or cancel before then: no refund. Even if you miss a connection. Even if you're going to sleep at a bus stop. They won't refund. And if you want a refund with the "agent" all they can do is give you a voucher. You want a real refund? You have to go online and "ask" for it and wait several days. I had to drive the family member to phoenix to catch another service. 8 hours of my day burnt. We are going to just go the small claims route. They can see us in middle of nowhere AZ justice court or we will take default judgement.

They should try to offer their passengers more comfort. They also messed up my ticket order when I went into their office. I had purchased drop-off and pick-up service to have door-to-door transportation to and from my hotel. I didn't realize at the time that I needed separate, yellow tickets, for that service upgrade. (The yellow tickets basically function as vouchers for prepaid taxi rides.) Thankfully I asked about it before my departure from Tucson, and they gave me the tickets. To top it all off, though, after I arrived in Hermosillo, I got a call from them to inform me that the 12:45 Saturday departure (the one I had purchased a ticket for) had been canceled. When they told me my other options, I apparently mistook a.m. for p.m. and, consequently, missed my ride back to Tucson two days later. I'll cut them some slack here, because most of their employees speak fluent Spanish and limited English--and I speak very hit-or-miss Spanish. The miscommunication was as much my fault as theirs. Nevertheless, the fact that they canceled my preferred ride in the first place definitely makes them lose points for lack of reliability. I hope their service improves, because it's great to have options for getting to and from Mexico. But until there's improvement, I'm going with Tufesa--which I had to use in a pinch to get back to Tucson after missing my ride. I was blown away by how clean and comfortable the Tufesa buses are. Best of all, Tufesa charged me less for my ticket.

It's easy to navigate the terminals and bags are returned to baggage claim in a reasonable amount of time. The airport is kept clean and there's a good selection of vendors gate side for an airport of this size. The only thing TUS needs is a few more direct flights to other cities, but that's more on the airlines than on the airport itself. As a private pilot, the facilities air side are quite good as well. If you're visiting Tucson, welcome to our city! Be cautioned of the city's (not airport) new speed trap along Valencia Rd. as of May 2026. It's a seven lane road posted at an abnormally low 30 MPH. It's best to avoid Valencia Rd. completely and head straight out Tucson Blvd. to reach your destination within the Old Pueblo.

It's a pretty small airport,, literally just a handful of airlines or so that people will know that flies from here, and then maybe a couple of local airlines. Since it's not a huge airport that does help with the going in and out of the airport at least, from the security line checkouts to the different gates, as they're basically all in the same place. As far as restaurants and stuff inside, it's definitely more of a drinking airport, as most of the places in here aren't going to have diverse flavors or anything and mostly just bar type places. Don't have much more thoughts about the airport. It's fairly smaller compared to most, but that's not always a bad thing as it's a straight forward line in.

Unfortunately you do have to leave at least an hour early for where you are going because they are transporting many people and some people have issues and it may take the driver more time to handle it. To the person generalizing a whole state please go back to California I left there in 2001 to get away from people like you coming on here and judging people. Some people do not have another ride choice and if they did they certainly would not be using this service. It's not that difficult of a concept. Also if you haven't noticed many people here are seniors and we should give them some grace and patients while on the road. People here are not in such a hurry like they are in California and many people are snowbirds depending on the time of year.

The trainers at Sun Van are nothing more than long term drivers with no teaching credentials at all. They were moved to trainer positions through longevity, not competence. BEWARE!!!
