This is the buss the my parents left... the driver was an asshole!

If I can give zero star I will.... The worst experience my parents experienced. He was 1 hour late and had a bad attitude he started yelling at my parents ...he drove off while my parents standing to look for a seat... I don't recommend this bus station... please train your people... the bus station here in Tucson Arizona... office in Tucson has business hours form 5am they open at 5:45...

+1hr wait, 112° F, 2pm; no updates on bus status in the last 45 minutes of wait period.

I waited alongside my sister outside of the Greyhound bus station in 112° weather for an hour. The bus was originally set to leave at 12:15 pm but the departure time was delayed to 2:15 pm. We received email update with that information which was beyond helpful. However, once we got to the station, at 2 pm, we learned that the station's lobby was closed between 12:30pm and 5pm according to a sign posted on the door. That is unacceptable, especially in the middle of a heat warning. The bus was further delayed indefinitely at that point because there were no further email updates, the online portal continued to say the bus would arrive at 2:15, and the customer service agent I spoke with over the phone had no idea of what was going on with the bus. The bottom line is that the bus station should not have been close under these weather conditions. There was a young family with a baby that had been waiting there since before my sister and I got to the station and their baby became increasingly fussy as time went on. It seems to me like there is a huge lack of responsibility on behalf of Greyhound for allowing this to happen. Thankfully, there was a Del Taco where we got water from and where some sheltered while waiting, but that doesn't take away from Greyhound's failure to provide these accommodations for its paying costumers. I don't think it's unreasonable for costumers to expect these under the weather forecasted. Greyhound, if you want to close in the middle of the day you need to make sure there are no trips scheduled for that time that will draw costumers to your closed establishment. And if there is a delay, you don't get to close until the delayed bus gets there and you have assured the safety of your costumers while they wait. People can suffer from heat stroke and dehydration can damage a person's internal organs, especially if the person is just a few months old. The bus eventually got to the station at around 3 pm. But without live updates we were unsure of how long we were going to have to endure being out there in those conditions. I hope this doesn't fall on deaf ears, or in this case, blind eyes and that Greyhound changes it's closing in the middle of the day policy to prevent this from happening again to anyone else.

    "Gift ticket" fee

This is only a review of their online ticket purchase, I have not, nor will I ever, ride one of their buses. My cousin came to me asking if I could buy her a ticket to Flagstaff with my card, because she doesn't have one, and she would give me the cash for it. Cool, no problem. She pulled it up and the total was $63.72. I proceed to go to the check out page, and it asked if the name on the card that I would be using, was the passengers name. It wasn't, so I clicked the other name option and was greeted with an $18 GIFT PURCHASE FEE. $18. "Gift purchase" fee. $18 to use a card in the name of someone other then the passenger. This is no gift. This fee is a total scam, I honestly don't even know how this is even legal. We didn't have much of a choice because she has to be up there, so she coughed up another $18. Next time she will be using Amtrak. I would recommend that if you don't have a card and need to purchase online, go buy a visa gift card and just use that. Scam the scammers.

Security keeps the doors locked, which I appreciated -- it definitely added to the feeling of safety.

It was bumper to bumper traffic. This driver stopped on the middle of the highway parallel next to me with his blinker on blocking traffic behind him. As the traffic began to move so do I as I have been in this lane for already 20 mins waiting to exit and this driver began to merge into my lane as he was right next to me. He started to get into my lane parallel next to me. I blew my horn to alert the driver he is about to crash into me and he blew the horn aggressively back. He continued to merge into my lane causing me to swerve and almost hit the car in the lane to the right of me. He almost ran me off the road. Below is the pic of the bus who almost ran me off the road. I have called several times to Michelle and Laurie leaving them a message and I still have not gotten a single call back regarding this safety issue. I would not recommend this tour line as the drivers on their website states they've taken safety classes which is an obvious lie. They are not safe. They will drive you off the road not caring whether there are children in the vehicle or who they wreck into. I had my two 1 year old twins in the vehicle with me and they could have been injured if I wasn't driving safely and proactively against this aggressive bus driver from Gray Line bus tours. I will also be reporting to the better business bureau. This is a safety concern. Drivers are not allowed to stop in the middle of the highway and before merging lanes must be clear. This was NOT the case! Someone could have been injured but this reckless arrogant driver.

They should try to offer their passengers more comfort. They also messed up my ticket order when I went into their office. I had purchased drop-off and pick-up service to have door-to-door transportation to and from my hotel. I didn't realize at the time that I needed separate, yellow tickets, for that service upgrade. (The yellow tickets basically function as vouchers for prepaid taxi rides.) Thankfully I asked about it before my departure from Tucson, and they gave me the tickets. To top it all off, though, after I arrived in Hermosillo, I got a call from them to inform me that the 12:45 Saturday departure (the one I had purchased a ticket for) had been canceled. When they told me my other options, I apparently mistook a.m. for p.m. and, consequently, missed my ride back to Tucson two days later. I'll cut them some slack here, because most of their employees speak fluent Spanish and limited English--and I speak very hit-or-miss Spanish. The miscommunication was as much my fault as theirs. Nevertheless, the fact that they canceled my preferred ride in the first place definitely makes them lose points for lack of reliability. I hope their service improves, because it's great to have options for getting to and from Mexico. But until there's improvement, I'm going with Tufesa--which I had to use in a pinch to get back to Tucson after missing my ride. I was blown away by how clean and comfortable the Tufesa buses are. Best of all, Tufesa charged me less for my ticket.
