The installers, Ilya and Max, worked incredibly hard, were respectful of our home, and thoroughly cleaned everything up when they were finished. The installation took place during an intense heat wave, but they both persevered through the two-day job with a smile and a great attitude. A minor issue with the installation came to light a few days later. We called West Coast Heating and Air, and Christian, the technician, came out that same day. He worked overtime to quickly diagnose and remedy the problem, and we really appreciated his dedication and responsiveness. I highly recommend West Coast Heating and Air. The entire team are superheroes in my book! Being able to feel cool and comfortable again during this summer heat wave is amazing. We couldn't be happier with the experience!

After the roof company mishandled my solar panels Bruce and his guys installed, he analyzed the issue and came over to adjust the system. Out of all the companies I contacted, San Diego Solar Install offered the best overall solar + battery package for the price. I initially reached out through their website and received a prompt response from Bruce, the owner. He's extremely personable, takes the time to answer every question, and genuinely addresses any concerns. He's one of the rare solar professionals who truly cares about his customers rather than just making a sale. Chad, Ian, and the rest of the installation team did a meticulous job installing both the solar panels and batteries, all within a tight timeline. The quality of their work really shows--see the attached photos for yourself. As I'm writing this at night, my home is running entirely off the Enphase batteries with zero power being pulled from the grid, which really highlights how well the system is performing. The other Yelp reviews definitely don't lie!

We are extremely grateful that our Sales representative Sam Johnson was there to provide us with great service from the beginning of the project to the end. Crystal Rojas kept us informed of the scheduling, financing and what step the project was in. When installation day came, we could not have had a better crew than Francisco's crew. On the hottest day of the summer his crew installed our solar panels and Powerwall with limited power interruptions. They cleaned up before they left leaving no trace of being there. During our final inspection Eric Rojas prepped the equipment for the final inspection. His attention to detail was instrumental in passing our inspection. Great service for a great price.

I'm going to add myself to the chorus of people telling you to move on and not deal with this…read morecompany. Like many others, the service provided by this company is disappointing and far below even the most basic expectations. Ask yourself if it's worth getting a solid system only to have no one respond to emails, maybe get lucky to get a call back, have issues with your system that you were never informed of.. and on and on. My case is still open so I will update this if my concerns get addressed, but as of now, 2 stars is generous. The biggest disappointment? They can't talk to you enough until you pay them. Then you are basically ghosted. For me.. Lots of contact with sales and service until payment then no response. Installation was fine. Then someone came out weeks later and said my system wasn't working so he was fixing it. No one had bothered to tell me. The product is good, the service is honestly terrible once you pay. So I'd look somewhere else if I was shopping solar. I got burned on this one. Don't be as naive as me. Stay away.

I received…read moreseveral quotes, but Sunline Energy was the only company that recommended fixing the root of the problem rather than just putting a Band-Aid on it. My skylight had been installed incorrectly by another company, which was contributing to the moisture issue. Since skylight repairs can be a relatively small job, I found that not many reputable companies were interested in doing this type of work. I was very happy to find Sunline Energy. Juan handled the skylight and related roof and flashing repairs, and I can't say enough about the quality of his work. He is a perfectionist and took the time to make sure everything was done correctly. He went above and beyond and fixed both the skylight and surrounding roof area beyond my expectations. Based on my experience and the quality of Juan's work, I would highly recommend Sunline Energy to anyone needing skylight or related roof repairs.

Adding on after Sunline Energy's response: I did not mention the following yet it is important to do so, in 2024 3 roofing companies told me that the roof was past due on repair, I had mentioned what happened with Sunline Energy in 2023 and was told that your company as well as others install on roofs that are not healthy enough and even with replacement of shingles the plywood was not thick enough to support solar panels, in other words, Sunline never mentioned something that was felt just by walking on the roof, ethics should be as important as obtaining a sale because people work hard to keep there home maintained, honesty is the best policy, I understand that the company must achieve sales but situations as so are very disturbing, Sunline Energy continues to owe us $1,000 due to a deposit for a job that never took place.

Semper Solaris literally has the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. Complete…read moreincompetence. As for other reviews I've seen, the issue is communication. Sure my solar power system works but the rest of the electrical in my house has been a mess every since the install and they are disinterested in my opinions or concerns. The only thing they are interested in is getting "off the hook" for any potential warranty claims. I strongly encourage you to go elsewhere for your solar needs. You'll regret working with them. Here's verbatim my last communication with Semper Solaris Customer Service. You may judge for yourselves: "K**** *******y, I'm at the end of my tolerance for Semper Solaris' / Semper Homes' lack of competence in customer service and support. Trust me when I tell you that I don't expect much and your business has repeatedly managed to underwhelm me and put the burden on me as a customer. The issue I've been dealing with is approaching 1-year in duration without resolution. I appreciate your team looking at the photos I provided, but when your electrician was dispatched to my residence they showed up without any warning or courtesy call. I raced home from work to let him in to see the electrical panel and he spent maybe 2 minutes on-site. His diagnosis was that perhaps the breaker needed to be changed and that would fix the problem of the circuit breaker tripping every time we used the exhaust fan above the stove. The exhaust fan worked properly from 2019 until Semper installed the solar and charger. He never returned to switch out the breaker and never called with an update on the status of my issue. Additionally, no one from Semper ever called to follow up other than an uninformed representative who asked if she could close out the "open ticket". I explained that I was still waiting for assistance and not to close it. No one ever reached out to me after this. I left at least two voicemail messages with customer service and still no one checked in with me. Today I called again and after waiting on hold for 10 minutes only to speak with an answering service which couldn't even relay my message to you because I couldn't provide a "Case Number" which I was never provided by you nor anyone else at Semper. This is your last opportunity to finally resolve this issue. I'll give you 24 hours to respond. I never write negative reviews and I'm very understanding but I'm very motivated to write a lengthy 0 star review about my horrendous experience dealing with your firm. Semper's communication outside of ****** (sales rep) has been abysmal."
