Bright and Natural light in a dark area of our home has finally happened. Our home in Henderson has always had dark a dark area in the hallway coming into the house from our garage. Putting in electrical was an option but the sunshine we enjoy just made more sense. A energy saving tax credit could not have been better utilized. Sun Cats team were fantastic. Putting down plastic to keep the mess a minimum and respecting our home. They arrived on time confirmed the location we wanted out Sunday Tunnels installed. We were awestruck from the first sight! The dark hallway and interior bathroom were bathed in bright natural Sunlight! A solar powered led night light lamp is in the tube so they are casting a soft light even at night. Our home is now so bright it's hard to keep from feeling I need to turn off a light switch... Sun Cat also replaced a noise bathroom fan with a whisper quite ducted unit where the fan is in the attic blowing out the side attic sophist. Absolutely satisfying improvement and really happy. Great company, great products. My home has a hall bathroom with no window, because I live in a zero-lot line community. I had a solar tube installed there. It floods my hallway with natural light during the day. I get comments from everyone who visits my home for the first time. I also had one installed in my garage above the washer and dryer. These are areas that would have required turning on the overhead light, but natural light is so much better. I also added the solar attic fan. As a former employee of the power company, I appreciate conserving electricity whenever possible. read more

When we decided to have solar tubes installed to bring light to a dark hallway and a bathroom, I contacted a competitor that was less than responsive. That to me reflects on the ownership and the quality of work. So I did the next best thing and contacted Sun Cat via the manufacturer's website to make an appointment. To my delight, someone called me back immediately and we set up the appointment for someone to come out. The owner himself, Glenn, came, and showed us his products, how they work, the care they take in the installation, etc. We were easily convinced and made arrangements for the solar tubes. Eddie, the installer came, assessed what needed to be done and went to work. He was polite and efficient. He also showed us pictures of our roof (although the tiles are in good shape, the tar paper has deteriorated and will need to be replaced). It's truly amazing how much natural light comes in through those tubes. Very happy eith the results. Quite glad to have made the decision to go with this company. They're so responsive, accommodating and prompt. Did I mention that they're also a tad less expensive, and give discounts if you pay by cash/check? All the more reason to go with them. read more

Many of my neighbors recommended this product and company. Cost is reasonable, and you get a discount if paying by check. Austin came out and installed 2 Solatubes in approximately 3 hours. He was very nice and conscientious and did a good job. He even noted a broken roof tile and fixed it. I'm very happy with how this turned out in the bathroom, but the tube installed in the kitchen doesn't make a big difference in the amount of light that comes in, so I'm a little disappointed there. read more

We had Sun Cat install a Solatube in our hallway. The installers (Alex & Brandon) were very professional and completed the work in less than 45 mins. It rained out of nowhere the day they came out, they got the roof portion of the installation completed before it started to pour. Alex informed us that if the paint runs out on the dome base on the roof because of the rain they'll come back and repaint it. So they did. We're very happy with the product. Now we always feel like we have to turn off the light in the hallway but it's the natural light from the Solatube. read more

Well had 2 solatubes installed this past Wednesday. Now my kitchen lights do not work at all. I have the solatube in the kitchen but that is it! I left a message for them to call. But what I am surprised about it that it happened and that they did not check the lights before leaving. I asked if the installer, AJ , had installed before. AJ looked at me like what do you think. Well now I do not know what to think! Hopefully they will call and until then this review will stay. read more

Contacted directly after looking at yelp reviews. Received a return phone call to my message. Owner Glen came out to give a quote. We looked at where "I" had wanted it. He provided some guidance and the direction of the roof. My husband and I did not consider where the sun (east and south the best for light) and we did not consider cast off. With the input, we chose another location and it made all the difference. The install was less than two hours. The skylight not only looks amazing, but is casting so much light in our living room. We have a large covered patio so the windows did not provide as much daylight as we like. The installer was on time, professional, and did a great job. He made sure we were happy before he left. He took extra time on the roof to make sure that it was installed correctly, and made sure that the extra tile was still available for our use. I cannot believe how inexpensive this was to create something that I know is going to increase the value of our home as it is not dark in the living area. My husband is an engineer and he went over the potential negatives, and to ensure that the processes were followed so there is no leaking. Five year warranty, which is fair. We have had solar for pool on our roof before, which leaked, so we are sensitive to that and they addressed all of our concerns. NO WAY, NO HOW!!! STAY away, buyer beware. Had 4 of these installed and I just love the extra light, but in time they WILL LEAK. I repeat, they will LEAK!!! All 4 of mine have leaked. That is not a big problem as the owner will come out and repair the leak. EXCEPT....if 5-years have passed! Then you pay a $150 to have new sealant. And you will pay this over and over again for the LIFE of your LEAKING SUN TUBE. These leak....period. You will pay! Go somewhere else where they can guarantee their work, or at least offer a better warranty! My two-cents! read more

UPDATE: I was so happy with the one 14" solatube that I had installed, that I bought two more: A second 14" that I put in the upstairs landing/balcony and a 10" in a bathroom that had no window. The stairs in the stairwell are now flooded with light during the day. The Solatube opening in the ceiling is quite bright -- but i like it. Couldn't be happier. The two Solatubes turned what had been a somewhat dark area into a bright area. And the 10" in the windowless bathroom brightens that otherwise dark room up during the day. Love the result. They did an excellent job installing our solar canisters. During a roofing project the roofer discovered the original canisters were installed wrong. Sun Cats came out quickly and worked with our roofer to make sure everything was installed and ready to go. They did an amazing job in such a short amount of time!! read more

We moved our business from CA to Henderson, NV and have quickly learned about the monsoon season of the Vegas area. One of our warehouse skylights broke during a windstorm and I found Sun Cat on another listing site, after being disappointed by my contact with other companies the property management had suggested. Sun Cat was at our office within three days of my call and replaced the window the same day! Pricing was more than fair and the repairmen were nice and professional.
