Cody with Baccus came by my house today to check a suspected leak on my patio. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He had his suspicions that it may not actually be something to worry about but still removed some tile and double checked the roof. Once he came back down he explained to me that my roof is in good condition, to double check if there's any leaking when it rains but it looks more like cosmetic repair needed on the patio ceiling than any actual repair. The value of a professional not trying to sell me something I didn't need told me everything I needed to know about the honesty of this company. If I needed any repairs to my roof in the future I will absolutely call Baccus and their level of integrity can't be matched. In a day and age where you never get a diagnosis that everything looks okay and people are always trying to rip you off- finding a reputable company is like finding a needle in a haystack. Looking to get solar panels for our house, one of the best practices prior to installing solar panels is to make sure the roof of the house is in good condition! When I went to Yelp for this project and looked up roofing vendors, Baccus Roofing was one of the ones that populated on the list! I called Baccus Roofing on a Thursday afternoon before the end of business. One of the team members picked up and scheduled me for a next day assessment! The team member arrived early morning around 9:00 A.M. He did an amazing job going through all of the pictures of the roof and the different types of maintenance offered. He also recommended a complete reroof prior to solar panels and that the roof wasn't ready for solar. Baccus roofing was awesome. We had one noticeable broken roof tile that slid down exposing roof board. Cody, their estimator, came out and said instead of putting in estimate and having a crew come out he would just fix it then. He climbed up and also noticed another cracked tile, one that had slipped out of place and a cracked peak cap. He went around and fixed all of those items for the same original estimate of the first item. Very impressed with their response time, not putting me off with just an estimate and then having to wait and schedule the repair. Competent roofers that know what to look for when providing maintenance. It's been 4 months since they did the work, and we finally had enough rain last weekend to determine the roof leaks appear to have been repaired. They did a walk-through on the roof and provided photographs during bidding process showing wind damaged tiles and other areas needing attention. Fairly detailed proposal that included 2-year warranty. Had a crew of three guys who spent half a day performing the work. Overall, very professional. The only area for improvement would be cost, --they get trial-attorney rates for manual labor. read more

These guys were amazing! I had 4 or so other highly rated roofers come out, all gave estimates (for repair and/or whole roof replace). These guys were the least expensive for just the repair, and we went that route. They did AWESOME job. Also: they were the ONLY ones that would give a "certificate" at the end of job about our whole roof (which our insurance wanted). They went above and beyond. The owner (I think) was the one who came out and did the inspection/estimate. Then when we hired them, 3 guys came out and did the hole repair work in just over 2 hours. We couldn't be more happy! I should have written this review a few months back when they did work on my previous property. My bad for that. But the guy came out very quickly and gave an estimate to fix something on our roof which was incredibly reasonably priced! I was shocked. He came back the next day (as he didn't have the necessary sealant on his truck) and did the job. Absolutely amazing work. Sent pics so i could fwd to my agent as we were selling the house as it was part of the list of required "get fixed" for buyer. And didnt break the bank!!! To be clear, they never provided any service so we cannot judge on the quality of their work. However, we sent them the inspection report we had received on March 5th so they could be prepared to provide a roof repair estimate today on the 9th. Upon arriving at the house today, they informed us they cannot do gravel/asphalt repairs. We expressed our disappointment in their service and Cody continued to reiterate this type of roof isn't in their capabilities and he didn't know this was the type of roof since he "just looked at the inspection report today." I reminded him we had sent him the report 4 days ago and it isn't our fault he didn't do his homework and look this up beforehand. He apologized. This conversation happened on the phone and ended with me thanking them for making it out to the house and informing them we will not be using their services in the future due to the obvious lack of preparation they undertake. Since then we have received two emails from them, one of which they state "with all due respect we spend gas to be at this property and it's a free estimate but we don't say this is a waste of time", why bring up spending gas if not to imply this was a waste of time? We again reiterated they had the inspection report. They then responded with "we showed up and did our job and the truth is you just want us to do your job too and blame it on us." I beg your pardon? Do our job? We are not roofers. Hence why we reached out to a roofing company. We have since ceased responding since there is clearly no professionalism the longer this conversation goes on. The takeaway is, we had a house inspected we'd like to buy with potential roof issues. Our 10-day due diligence expires in 2 days so baccus was supposed to provide an estimate today on the cost of repairing the roof. We provided the inspection report 4 days ago, when we booked baccus to come out. There is a high chance we will miss out on this house since there is no other capable roofing company able to come out in the next two days to provide an estimate. We trusted baccus and that was our mistake. read more

A piece of one of the corner tiles of my roof fell off, so I called Bacchus Roofing (702-566-9993) because the BBB rate them an A+ business. I was told that they could get someone out here in Anthem the next day. Sure enough, he arrived at the appointed time and asked if I wanted him to walk the roof and look for problems. He found no other issues and then repaired the tile, all within about 20 minutes. He did not charge me a penny and even refused a tip. Why? He was the owner, John. Overall, a good experience. First time I had to hire a roofer. I wasn't aware how damaging the Vegas winds are. Baccus Roofing came out to provide an estimate for a leak I had and general repairs. My leak was small and I think I caught it early so there wasn't really any damage. Just discoloring in the ceiling. The person that came out was very kind and knowledgeable. Provided photos of problem areas. I agreed to the estimate. I was told I would receive a call in 24 hours for scheduling. 2 days passed and no call so I had to call them to get a time scheduled. After I did, they came out extremely quick to perform the work. On the day of the work order, the team was very fast. Came in, checked the location of the leak and went straight to the roof. About 2 to 3 hours later, they knocked on the door and said they were done and told me to sign. I asked if they found the leak and and the gentleman said he did and tried to get me to sign quickly. He didn't elaborate on the repairs made. It seemed like they may have been in a hurry to get to another job. They didn't have me pay then. Later Baccus Roofing sent me photos of the work done and sign off on the work. I had questions about the work (being a the first time I had to hire roofers). Shot them an email with questions and they called me within 2 hours to explain things a little more in detail. read more

Terrible experience from the get-go! The guy who came looked irritable to start with as soon as I opened the door. When I told him of the roofing maintenance needed, just a few broken tiles that needed to be replaced...he was like, "Oh, this isn't a whole roof replacement?" I said, "No." Then he said something in an irritated tone under his breath about how she got it wrong. I'm assuming he was referencing the admin/office/appointment maker. Anyhow, he was pretty snarky. When he proceeded to come in my home, I stopped him and said, "I'm sorry but we don't wear shoes in our home." He had an attitude like, well I need to see what's going on inside regarding any possible leaks. I said, "Yes, that's fine, but you need to take your shoes off or wear shoe coverings." He looked irritated like it was a hassle to remove his shoes. My thought was, "Dude, why did you even come if you're coming with an irritated look and attitude?!" It's not a way to get the work! He then goes on the roof and comes down to show me pics. I'm wanting him to just get to the chase, so when I ask him about the main area that needs replacement, he stops me and with a quick lip says, "Um, I'm getting there." I was so turned off after that point...I was just like "Uh huh, uh huh, uh huh" every time he would say something. He then says he will work up an estimate and send it to me. I still haven't seen one, but that's fine cause the whole experience from the time he knocked on my door was horrible. We found Baccus Roofing from a NextDoor referral and called them after a drone roof inspection showed some "issues". They came out right away and did a full inspection, which included pictures. Since we really only wanted them to address the issues in the home inspection report, they agreed to send a quote for the repairs. The repair quote was reasonable and they were able to schedule the repairs right away. They completed all the repairs and sent us a bill including pictures (a lot!) of repairs (before and after). After they left, I did notice a patio electrical outlet had quit working. I tried all the breakers and all the GFI switches. Still no power to the outlet. I called and explained the situation to one of the owners, John Ryan. John was very understanding and concerned. He personally came over the next morning at the crack of dawn! Don't approve the work. Ask for a revised quote before moving forward. The quote is NOT the final invoice price for this company. Since they had no gate code, they could not be bothered to wait for a car to come through so they just skipped the appointment all together. Highly do not recommend them. Recently I had the opportunity to work with Baccus Roofing for a leak on my roof. I can say they were wonderful to work with. The owner and his son have been in business for over 40 years and they have a great reputation due to their hard work, honesty, consistency and communication. From the beginning, they were always available to me. Throughout this experience, I had no problems contacting then, having them return my calls and/or making appointments. On their first visit,they helped me onto the roof so I could see for myself what the prior workers: roofers, air conditioning companies, general contractors and pest control (for my pigeon problem) did to "fix" the problem. I was shocked and appalled that I paid so much money in the past for nothing and for more problems with broken tiles that were caulked back together!!! Needless to say, Baccus gave me various options available and explained everything to me in great detail. I was then able to fix the problem once and for all. I would like to thank Cody and crew for coming out on 02/22 with rain on the way to repair a roof leak and do roof maintenance . My roof is 22 years old and they replaced 24 cracked or broken tiles !
