Very disappointed. Called Baccus roofing and they came out right a way. They sent a quote for the job and I accepted it. This was May 21, 2020. They told me that they were busy and that they would let me know when they could come out in a few days. I followed up many times over the next 2 months but I was put off each time. These guys did an amazing job especially considering the really poor shingled roof they had to work with. Their quote was on par with similar work in the area, but they did it much more efficiently and cleaned up their job better than anyone I've seen. They stuck to their word when trouble came up but still managed to do a fantastic job. Our house looks brand spankin new with our shingled roof and better than any previous job we've had. Shingles are hard work, but they are up for the challenge! Our estimate was quick and scheduling was efficient. People need to remember that this isn't a food delivery, this is seriously hard work and a craft to do well and bumps on the road happen; You still want the best though for your roof and they deliver! read more

I am happy with the work they did and the cost was reasonable. The only issue was when I called a few weeks later to confirm our scheduled appointment they told me it had to be rescheduled because I did not respond to an email they sent me requesting I confirm the appointment. A little over a month ago, my husband hired this company to make a repair on our roof, where two AC units sit. Mind you, a crane was needed to remove both units, to complete the repair. Baccus removed the units and also placed them back on the roof, after the repair was completed. A week and a half later, our upstairs AC unit shut off. My husband checked the breaker and it had tripped. He simply flipped the breaker back on and AC started working again. Then it happened again on July 10, 2019, around 5pm. Husband flipped the breaker and only warm air was coming out. My husband made a call to Baccus, the next day, to have them send someone out to take a look at the AC units. He was told by Donesa, the office manager, that she would contact the person who did the job to let them know. I talk to my husband at 2pm that day and he had not heard back from the company. I told him to call back and find out when someone would be out. He made another call and again, spoke to Donesa, while on speaker phone, I over heard her say, "sir, we are busy until September and I will try to get someone out next week!" She also stated that the repair was over a month ago and now you're having issues, and that she doesn't see where they removed the AC units. Husband states, its on the paper work that I am looking at. I took over the phone call and she immediately assumes I am yelling at her. And told me to go ahead and sue the company if I wanted. I told her I wanted to speak to the owner and she tells me that she's "half owner". I said, for a company who is customer service driven, you have ZERO compassion for people, but especially to your customers who have paid you over $4000. And when I say ZERO COMPASSION, its absolutely ZERO. She told me that she would have someone out the next day. Well not an hour later, the owner Tom calls and mentions he is retired and lives most of the time in the Philippines. And that's when he mentions, that the lady in the office is the office manager. Tom stated the he would have someone out as soon as possible and take a look at the roof, but also stated that the person that hooked up our AC was not a certified AC tech. Baccus sent a person over and stated that they are not responsible for the AC not working. We have had two other AC certified companies come and take a look and both say the AC was installed incorrectly. So we just got fed up with the back & forth BS and decided to replace both AC units. I want to sue this company, like Donesa advised, but my husband told me to let it go. So I am. Beware of the "half owner-office manager", Donesa! She is as rude as they come. And she should be ashamed of herself!!!! Sad to say that I would never recommend this company because of her. Tom the owner, somewhat compassionate. We should've done more research on this before hiring. The workers also left trash (wires, cables) on top of our roof. Forgot to mention that, as well. I guess they figured, its the roof and can't be seen. Beware when hiring this company and do your research especially if the job entails anything other than roofing. The end. read more

I used Baccus a couple of years ago and was very happy. So when my mother-in-law died and we sold her house, (the inspection report found defects in the tile roof), we called Baccus again. They could have sold us a bill of goods, but they only fixed what was necessary and did it at a very reasonable cost. When the inspector came back to re-inspect he gave the work two thumbs up. I see the negative reviews about gate codes and scheduling.....all I can say is if you want good work at a good price, they are worth the wait. (I didn't have any problems with delays or gate codes.) read more

If I truly had a choice, this business would receive ZERO stars. I'm in the process of buying a home and relying on a roofing repair quote to complete the process. This business seemed to have driven to the gate of the neighborhood and left, without a call or anything. They received the gate code over the phone when the appointment was made - over a week ago! We called to check on the quote and they said "oh we didn't go, we weren't given a gate code so we couldn't get the quote. We can get someone out next week". Unbelievable. And they didn't even seem to care. Completely unprofessional. Judging by the reviews, this seems to be a trend with this awful business. Would NOT recommend. read more

A no call, no show for an estimate. This was disappointing because I was actually interested in meeting this guy, who seemed knowledgeable and to the point in our initial phone conversation. Our estimate was set for 8:30am today. I called at 9:30am and was told the estimate was scheduled for between 10am and noon. I called again at 12:30pm and was told he called but no one answered so he went on to his next appointment. My phone was with me all day, no missed calls. They probably wrote my number down wrong, so I provided it again. I expressed frustration and was told they would give my number to their guy in the field and we could expect him sometime after 3pm when he finishes his list. The day has ended and still nothing. I'm censoring my frustration. The guy who took my calls throughout the day seemed to be nice and professional though! read more

I sent Baccus Roofing photos from my recent home inspection (prior to purchasing my home) and they quoted me the cost to repair. Their price was fair so we went ahead and they came out and made the repairs quickly and professionally. Will use them again in the future if the need arises and will defiantly recommend to anyone needing quick service at a good price. read more

We called 5 roofing companies for re-roof bid and Baccus responded the quickest and most professional. Their bid was not the highest nor the lowest. Estimator was very through explaining what needed to be done and the process. The work was scheduled and we received a reminder call confirming start date. Company owner and crews arrived on time EVERY DAY..cleaned the site everyday and the roofs look BEAUTIFUL. Highly recommend this company and we would not hesitate to call them again. read more

I have used Baccus Roofing for many years. They are reliable, professional and honest.

Baccus has been servicing our roof for about 5 years now. As an engineer I have pretty tight requirements and high expectations. For those complaining about poor customer service, these folks knock out 15 quotes a day. The end result is what you want, a really good quality job. I talked with John over the phone about my roof concerns and he answered them over the phone. Kevin and crew did a great job and they were super clean and respective. Unlike other trades where I usually have to have another trade back to repair something, this wasn't the case with Baccus. This isn't Amazon folks, this is a skilled trade group. Sure our time is valuable but so is theirs. read more

They are slow when it comes to warranty work. I rent an office where they re-did the roofing about 6 years. It leaked twice in the last five years. My landlord had to hire someone else to repair their shoddy work because they could not come out for a week to repair the leak. read more

Needed a roof leak fixed quickly for a new home I purchased on short sale. The team came out and explained to me that it was pigeon poop that had built up at the top of my rotunda due to them nesting there and water was unable to flow off the roof. (it puddled) They cleaned the entire area up (5-6 bags of pigeon poop), patched the holes and recommended I call pest control. That pest company came out and put up caging and spiking but did a poor job at it. As such, the first big rain came and the same area of the roof leaked again. I called Baccus back up and they sent two teams of roofers out within days to clean up another insane amount of pigeon poop, completely tear back the roof, apply peel and seal waterproofing and repatch a much wider area than they had previously. All at no additional cost to me. I appreciate that they stood by their warranty despite the issue not being entirely their fault. I felt they treated me fairly and decided to take the pest control matters into my own hands shortly after their work was complete. Happy to say I no longer have leaks! read more
