Johnathan was extremely informative and thorough in explaining what was needed to address the damage to my home. He was a huge help throughout the process, had a friendly and professional demeanor, and responded quickly. I truly appreciate his assistance and would highly recommend him! read more

I have been absolutely blown away by the service from A Step Above. A few years ago, they completed a roof patch for me after the hurricane hit Las Vegas. That repair held up for two years, but it was finally time to replace my aging shingles. From the very beginning, the experience was outstanding. Kimberley in the office was incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful. She got me scheduled for a quote right away and guided me through the entire process, making everything feel simple and stress-free. She's my new best friend. Love chatting with her! Jordan was our sales representative, and he was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable, answered every question my partner and I had, brought samples so we could compare options, and never once pressured us into unnecessary upgrades. We always felt informed, not sold to. Jose, our foreman, made sure everything was completed correctly and kept us updated throughout the installation. His communication with the crew was excellent, and I was amazed they completed the entire roof in just two days. What an incredible team. They made what could have been a stressful, expensive project feel easy from start to finish. While their quote wasn't the lowest, I truly believe you get what you pay for. Their communication was exceptional, the workmanship was top-notch, and the quality of the shingles was exactly what I was hoping for. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend A Step Above to anyone looking for a roofing company they can trust. Photos attached of my old brown shingles to a modern grey-brown. read more

live in an HOA community, and a company has accessed my roof without my authorization. They are refusing to leave the property, and the workers do not speak English or explain what work they are performing. Really shoddy workmanship and communication. Don't recommend them at all. read more

Had my entire roof replaced with A Step Above and I highly recommend them. Excellent experience overall.

When looking for roofing contractors through Yelp, A Step Above was one of the first companies that populated on the search! When I called into their office to request a repair estimate, they were able to schedule a technician to come out to the house a week later! George had arrived on time for the appointment! He went through the entire process with us as far as the current roofing condition. George let us know that there were a variety of tiles that were broken, tiles that were slipped or moved, paper that needed to be replaced, and fixes that needed to occur near our new AC unit. He did recommend a full reroof though if we were going to get new Solar Panels. George informed us if we were going to get Solar Panels, leaving the roof as is, that we would need to get the Solar Panels removed in a few years to replace some of the roofing, which would be higher cost! Quotes were provided the same day! My husband and I enjoyed the estimate and quote process with A Step Above! read more

all the personnel, from office to actual on the roof workers , were very nice, customer oriented. The crew that did the actual on the roof work were steady workers, knowledgeable and explained to me when I asked exactly what they were doing . The explained easily and pointed out what I could see from the ground . And they cleaned up after each work day especially on the last day, it looked better than when they started. I would highly recommend this firm. the price was reasonable. read more

A Step Above was awesome from start to finish! They were thorough and precise in finishing on time and within the exact estimate. I highly recommend this company for all your roofing needs. A Step Above just replaced our entire roof and we can't say enough good things about them. The owner Jeremie went above and beyond to help us. Our project manager Sebastian was so nice and helpful. The roofing crew did a fantastic job cleaning up, you wouldn't even know they were there. 10/10 recommend! Thank you Jeremie, Sebastian and A Step Above crew!! read more

They were outstanding. We bought our house brand new and have had nothing but problems with our roof. Every time it rained, we would wait to see where in the house the leak would show up this time. We called this company and had our whole house reroofed. They gave a fair price. We have had our new roof for a year now and have had no problems. They corrected any issues we had in a timely manner. They completed our whole house in about a week. We no longer have to worry when we hear rain in the forecast. We would highly recommend this company, and we have to a neighbor, with no hesitation. read more

I have used A Step Above for 10+ years for my personal properties and I always refer A Step Above to all my friends and clients.

A great company with great customer service they call you back when you need something. They get the job done at a great price with great workmanship! There is a reason why they are a five star company on the Better Business Bureau read more

We contacted A Step Above to come and inspect the leak in our roof because they had excellent reviews. I am pleased to say they met all of our expectations. From the owner, Jeremie, to the crew who did the work, all were courteous, professional, showed up on time, worked hard, even finished 2 days early. Jeremie promptly replied to my phone calls and texts and was very patient with my wife's many questions. In addition to being pleased with my new, water-proof roof, I especially liked how the crew cleaned up after themselves and left my yard looking neat and tidy. If you're looking for a dependable contractor to repair your roof, look no further than A Step Above. They are licensed, insured, bonded and deliver excellence at a fair price. read more

I would not recommend this company, they are terribly unreliable. The man they sent to do the inspection on my roof could not answer any roofing questions; when I called the office to get some information about the quote that was sent to me, the man who answered the phone knew nothing about roofing. A few days later, the owner's son Jesse called and asked what I thought of their estimate. I told him there was a disconnect between what the inspector said and what the estimate included. We discussed all the relevant points, Jesse went over them step-by-step and he said that he really wanted more information and would come by to do another inspection. We also discussed, because of the age of my roof, that perhaps it would need to be replaced. He promised to give me a new estimate within 24 hours. I told him that I would give the new estimate consideration and yet almost 5 days later I haven't heard a word from him. I called twice and left messages, and got no response. How can you possibly depend upon a company that doesn't live up to what they say they're going to do? read more

The customer service is absolutely outstanding! Everyone is very knowledgeable in their position, from estimators, scheduler, and repairmen. As my roof is getting older, I wanted an inspection, but wasn't sure who to use. A neighbor, who is also a realtor, highly recommended A Step Above. They use a drone to check out the entire area, provided pictures, and confirmed I didn't yet need to have new caulking around the various pipes up there. It's nice that they can limit the amount of walking on the roof. I was pleased with their service. read more

Absolutely amazing company to work with. Fair and honest pricing, with passion to deliver very well crafted work.

Out of 2 other roofers, I would recommend Jeremie and his family. Feels like having a uncle/family member care enough to tell you the real deal. Jeremie and his family is the real genuine local family owned business. He's very calm, attentive, and straight forward with consideration to someone's situation. Extremely patient to answer alllll my questions. I could see him being a great therapist too! This company seems not only trustworthy to try out, but experienced to understand more in detail. I found them through Yelp researching. We requested a quote. His wife (office) and son (field) is also part of the company. Jeremie helped review my concerns from the inspection report. Out of 2 other roofers, he's the only one who took the - patience to acknowledge items, and then differenciate if it's necessary (leak), and our situation. Example is old satellites incorrectly installed on top of the roof vs sides which can visibly see water dage residual down at the patio. None of the other roofers was able to catch this even when I pointed out the water damage (others couldnt connect it to the satellite). - he was able to tell what is up to code and not. Then explain what really matters or not/what he would do for his own house or skip on. - he's able to gauge our situation, and suggest something that suits us. Example is our garage doesn't have ceiling vent, but has floor vents. But in reality, we aren't living in our garage, and he wouldn't spend so much to change it. Especially when we are repairing so much around the house. - No upselling of any kind. Appreciate his quote within days. And follow up later. We are waiting to get the work done. But will be calling A Step Above for any roofing needs. read more

Professional, Prompt, Price Competitive. Thoroughly explained and documented services.

I recently hired Jeremie and his team to replace the screen over my courtyard. I had gotten several estimates and was very pleased with the fair price and quality of materials that they proposed. They arrived on time, removed and hauled away the existing screen, and replaced it with a beautiful new one with a tighter weave. They also cleaned up the debris to the point where I couldn't even tell they had been here! I highly recommend Jeremie and his team of professionals! read more

When looking for a roofing company recently, I noticed A Step Above had been highly recommended by a number of people on my neighborhood site. After speaking with several roofers, I decided to have Steve's company replace my roof which had developed leaks in a number of areas and am happy that I did. When the crew started, they were here every day until the job was done and made sure they cleaned up everything. A few days later, a supervisor came out to make sure all the work had been properly and fixed several areas that need further attention. Highly recommend this company. read more

Needed some work in Boulder City and specifically asked if they serviced my area. Yep no problem .Booked an appointment 2 weeks out with the understanding it was for an estimate. Several days later they apparently had a change of heart and pushed back my appointment date ... oh and by the way it will now be $250.00 for the estimate. I then ask what is the cost to inspect a residence in Henderson? No charge. So it went from nothing initially to $250.00 to go the extra perhaps 5 miles over the hill? Assuming I grab the bait and commit to the ridiculous surprise fee, what's to stop them from the the next excessive upcharge because they don't like where I live. I get it you have all the business you need. Just tell me you don't want to suffer the hardship of servicing the remote frontier of BC and I'll move along. Thumbs way down. read more

This company was great to work with. From estimate to job completion ASA was superior despite all my questions. Highly recommend.

Hired them to check out my roof for any damage. They showed up took pictures and went over them with me. We had cracked tiles, cracked sealant around all vents, and some tiles that were slipping out of position. These factors could all cause leaks. Step above gave me a quote which was a lot less than other companies that gave me a quote. With there 4 1/2 star rating and the lowest quote I gave them the work. Step above showed up with 2 workers and were done in 3 hours. They took finished pics and looks great . Will definitely recommend step above roofing. Mahalo great job. read more

Great company! Did my roof repair in a few hours and it looks like a new roof!! Not too expensive

Wow. These guys are all kinds of awesome. They showed up on time for the quote, offered me a very fair bid, and even connected me with the owner to review the bid and answer all of my questions. A Step Above is a family business and they don't try to hide it. And that's what I love about them. Their price was less than $100 away from one of the other "big guy" factory-type contractors I got a bid from. I have no doubt my roof was repaired in the same way the owner would want his done. And I'm confident this is quality work that will outlast the walls holding up the roof! No corners were cut. They communicated status updates every day. The crew was here on time. They cleaned up after themselves every single day. Not a single nail or scrap of trash was left behind. The only thing that I'm disappointed with is, I'll probably never have the opportunity to work with them again! Thanks ASAI! I'll send all of my friends your way if they need roofing services! read more

They did exactly as they said they would every step of the way, at what I was told it would cost, and took exactly as long as I was told it would take. Very happy. I even signed up for yearly roof maintenance with them to keep my roof from needing the same extent of repairs again. read more

I used this company a year ago for a roof leak. I paid them 1,000 dollars to fix the leak. Well, they didn't fix it because a rain came through and the leak was still present. Had to pay another company to come and do it. The new company pointed out where "A step above" missed the whole entire area where the leak was. The new company fixed it entirely and haven't had a leak since. This company claimed I needed the whole roof replaced, etc. turns out that wasn't true. read more

I needed a fast fix for my HVAC. A step above patched up both my HVAC's units which other companies said was impossible. I initially was inclined to use them for their genuine positive reviews which were proven true through my experience. This company does good business, they're fair and honest and I will be using them in the future for any of my roofing or AC needs. Not only did they prove themselves to be experts but they were unbelievably fast. From quote to completion I was impressed with the turn around time. I feel I got my moneys worth and wasn't taken advantage of. read more

A Step Above will not disappoint! Everything you want from a local family owned business! I worked with Jeremie and Jay and they were very professional and great to work with! I had just purchased a home and was needing some general room maintenance. I called a few companies and A Step Above was not only super quick to reply, they were very communicative and were able to come out and give me an estimate very quickly. I received a call after they inspected my roof explaining everything they found and the cost - which was much less than the others I called!! Sent me pictures via email. Once I scheduled to have the serviced completed they were able to come out within just a few days and called to let me know that it was completed and sent another email with pictures showing that the work had been completed. I would defiantly use them again in the future! read more

Great company, scheduler and estimators are very friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend A Step Above.

I used this company in 2023. Jeremie is the owner and he friendly and professional. He came out within 24 hours after I contacted him and walked my entire roof, took pictures, and gave me an estimate for repairs. The crew came out the next day and they did a great job and took pictures of the completed work. They replaced 2 missing T-top vents, repaired/replaced approximately 10 field tiles, sealed ridge joints and painted to match as close as possible and sealed pipe penetrations as needed. I am completely satisfied with the results. I would highly recommend this company for their professionalism, quality of work performed, timeliness and the cost was reasonable. read more

Contacted A Step Above for an estimate on roof repair after I discovered a small water mark on my ceiling recently. They responded and scheduled an estimate quickly. Jeremie came and assessed the issue and provided the estimate, I felt like I was dealing with an honest, knowledgeable company so didn't even bother getting other estimates. The work was completed the same week and just as promptly as the estimate. They have great communication skills and sent pictures of completed job. The workers were very polite and through with the cleanup. I am very satisified and would definitely recommend them and will continue to call them should I need any roof repair in the future. It's nice to know there still are good reputable companies and people out there who care about their customers. A real pleasure to do business with!!! Don't hesitate to call them !!! read more

I recently hired Jeremie to do complete refurbish of the roof on my 3300 sq ft 2 story home. Despite the difficulties getting in contact with Jeremie I was determined to hire him. I used ASA for a smaller roof repair years ago and was impressed by the work ethic that I observed in ASA. When all was said and done I was not disappointed in my decision. Anyone can give a great review for a contractor when everything falls into place and the job goes off without a hitch, but how often does that happen. This job did have some complications, the kind we are seeing more of these days but despite all of that Jeremie and his crew did a great job and their interaction with me throughout the job met my rather high expectations. read more

Extremely thorough roof inspection. It helped greatly to evaluate the home for purchase. Well worth the inspection fee.

Very professional and considerate. Replied promptly to query .he sent over his son to evaluate who came with mask on and booties on ( for walking inside house),looked up on roof and gave me a quote. I had another company evaluate. They gave a quote for less however ,tracked dusty footprints through house and used step above quote to come up with their own. While tempting to save money my husband felt it better to go with this company as they would show the same consideration up on the roof as they showed inside the house. I received pictures of the complete work at the end. I would recommend them read more

We discovered a leak in our den above the window. I did try to identify it but was unsuccessful as it only leaked during heavy rain and only if the wind was blowing in a certain direction. Our home warranty company could not find a local roofing company so they allowed us to choose the contractor. We were referred to Jeremie, A Step Above Roofing, through our realtor/friend. Jeremy came out and performed a thorough inspection of the entire roof. He had a very good idea as to where the water was coming in, and explained in great detail the probable cause. During the roof inspection he also discovered, and took photos of, approximately 31 tiles that were cracked, broken, or dislodged, more than likely caused by our solar panel installation. After approval from our home warranty company we scheduled the repairs which took approximately 2 to 3 hours. The team of technicians were very professional, courteous, took additional photos, and also explained to me what they had done. No major rainstorms yet, but I am confident the leak has been repaired. Great job Jeremie and the A Step Above team! read more
